ASSOCIATION PRIVILEGES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. A. The Association will be provided access to a copy of the official Board meeting agenda prior to the meeting and a copy of the Board minutes after their approval by the Board. The Superintendent will be provided access to a copy of the minutes after their approval by the Association.
B. As designated by the site administrator, a portion of the existing bulletin board space in faculty lounges shall be reserved for the purpose of displaying Association notices, circulars, and other materials of interest to employees.
C. Participation by EASMC in new personnel orientation (including any additional ad hoc orientation sessions) is valued and encouraged. The Association will be provided time, as specified by the Board, not less than 30 consecutive minutes during the personnel orientation program (not included in the designated lunch period) for newly employed personnel for Association orientation as well as space as designated by the Board to disseminate information relative to the Association. The Association will also collaborate with the Board to provide a joint training/orientation session on the negotiated agreement. The designated Association and Board representatives will come to advance agreement on the agenda, message, and presentation details. The Association will have the right to have placed in the SMCPS hiring packet (whether hard copy, electronic, or both) for all new unit members (1) a letter prepared by the Association that welcomes the new employees and informs said employees that the Association is recognized as the exclusive negotiating representative for all unit members employed by the Board and (2) an EASMC membership application.
D. The Board will provide the Association with an electronic copy of the current Directory of School Officials, Site Administrators and Teachers in St. Mary's County as such material is prepared by the staff. The Association will provide the Superintendent with an electronic copy of the active Association membership.
E. Within 15 calendar days following the approval of a leave of absence, the Department of Human Resources shall notify the Association of the name of the Association member(s) taking the leave(s) and the length of the leave(s).
F. The Department of Human Resources will provide the Association with a list of all employees terminating their employment no later than September 1, of any school year.

As a key District partner, the Holyoke Association of Paraprofessionals is uniquely positioned to be a force for positive change. ASSOCIATION PRIVILEGES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. The Association and its representatives shall have the right to use the Employer's buildings for meetings and to transact Association business, outside of the regular duty hours. The Association shall be responsible for claims arising from incidents, theft and loss or damage occurring in the room actually being used by the Association. After regular custodial hours, it will be the responsibility of the Association to see that all areas used are secured upon leaving. The Association can post notices of activities and Association reports on the bulletin board in the staff room. The Association shall assume responsibility for the materials posted on the bulletin board. The employer shall furnish, upon written request from the Association, information and data so that the Association can fulfill its representation responsibilities. Such information shall consist of board minutes, agendas, budget status reports, and any other budgetary data necessary for analysis. Should negotiations be mutually scheduled during working hours, the Association representatives shall be released from their assigned duties without loss of pay or benefits. Release time with pay for employees to attend to Association business shall be mutually agreed upon and scheduled between the superintendent and the Association president. The costs of substitutes for all association business will be paid for by the Association.

The Springfield School Committee seeks a genuine partnership with the Association and its members to drive rapid improvement in SEZP schools.
ASSOCIATION PRIVILEGES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. A. Quarterly Association/Principal Meetings - Appeals Process
1. A committee of Association Representatives shall meet not less than quarterly - or as the need arises - with the Principal to discuss matters relating to the welfare of the school, students or teachers. Both parties shall provide input for the meeting. There will be a mutual effort to make these sessions meaningful and advantageous to the school.
2. Any matter not resolved to the satisfaction of the Association may be appealed to the Superintendent after notification has been given to the Principal. After discussing the matter with the Superintendent, if the matter has not been resolved to the satisfaction of the Association and notification has been given to the Superintendent, the matter may be appealed to the School Board. The School Board will hold a meeting with the Association Representatives to discuss the matter. The School Board will render a final decision in the matter within two (2) weeks of the meeting.
3. The School Board agrees that Association Representatives and individual teachers will not be subject to reprisal or any disciplinary actions as a result of their participation in the above process.
4. It is understood by both parties that any decision or any matter rendered by the Administration or School Board under this Article is not grievable or arbitrable under Article

D. A member of the bargaining unit who is elected as a full-time officer or who is appointed to the staff of NEA/NH or the National Education Association, upon application, shall be granted an unpaid leave of absence for one school year subject to the provisions of Article X A.

C. Since the Board and the Association are working together in good faith for the advantage of the School, both parties will make available to each other, upon request, without prejudice, all information in public domain.
D. The Northwood School District Policy Manual The Board shall provide the Association with a current and updated copy of the complete policy manual upon request. The Board shall provide individual changes as they occur throughout the year. It will be the responsibility of the Association to make the insertion as they are provided. The Board shall maintain a current, complete and up- to-date digital version of the policies and ensure that they are publicly available online.
