Base Closure. 47-2.01 The Company agrees to formally notify the Union ninety (90) Calendar Days before the anticipated base closure date, in writing, prior to closing any active base.

Base Closure. In the event of a base closure the Employer will notify the union and employees as soon as possible. The Employer will provide a minimum of sixty (60) days’ notice for the closing of a base outside Washington State and a minimum of six (6) weeks’ notice for the closing of a base inside Washington State. The employees will be laid off in order of seniority using the following process:

Base Closure. If a base closes, a Pilot waiting staffing on different equipment will be assigned in system seniority, based on the Pilot's preference and the needs of the Company. The commencement of the displacement assignment will be limited to the effective date of the Pilot's system staffing award. A displaced Pilot will bid his seniority within the assigned base.
