Change of Rosters. (a) Rosters will be provided for a full week Monday to Saturday and may be changed by agreement or by the Company giving seven [7] days’ written notice. When the employee disagrees with a change of roster 14 days’ notice shall be given and discussion held in accordance with clause 43. (b) Family responsibilities and safe transport will be considered when changing rosters. (c) An employee’s roster may not be changed with the intent of avoiding payment for public holidays. Should such circumstances arise, the employee shall be entitled to payment for the public holiday as if their roster had not been changed.

(e) An Employee working a Continuous Roster who is required to change to another roster will be provided with a rest period of not less than four days paid at their existing Annualised Salary.

Change of Rosters. 2.7.1 Rosters may be changed by one of the following methods; (a) Due to urgent operating requirements a team member may mutually agree to change their roster prior to their shift commencing. (b) With the team member’s consent and with seven (7) days notice, their roster may be permanently changed. (c) Without the team member’s consent and with fourteen (14) days notice, a team member’s roster may be permanently changed. 2.7.2 Should a team member disagree with a proposed roster change, there will be discussions aimed at resolving the matter in accordance with Clause 7 (Dispute Resolution) of this Agreement.

Day workers may be employed as, and become, 8 Hour Shift Workers or 12 Hour Continuous Shift Workers for a period of not less than three shifts and be paid accordingly. 25.3.2. When an employee is transferred from day to shift work or from one shift to another during the week, or if normal rotation is changed, he shall, unless given 48 hours’ notice of such change be paid overtime rates for the first ordinary shift in lieu of ordinary pay for that shift.

Hours of work shall be continuous except for breaks. 9.1.1.2 When establishing or changing rosters, the Company will have regard for family responsibilities, study commitments and for whether or not the employee has safe transport home. "Family" in this context means "immediate family” as defined in Clause 18.1 of this Agreement - Compassionate Leave, or a member of the employee's household.
Change of Rosters. (a) Employees placed on a shift roster shall not have their roster changed by the Company without 48 hours' notice of such change or payment is made at time and a half rates for ordinary time worked until such 48 hours' notice would have expired. Such extra rate shall be in substitution for the shift allowance. The Company will provide a least seven days’ notice wherever possible.
