Christmas. On Christmas shutdowns, all employees shall be paid return fare to point of hire, provided they return to the job. In the case of employees not returning to the job after shutdown, the provisions of Clause 9 shall apply.
Christmas. There will be no rehearsal or performance (except during tech week provided an alternate day off is scheduled) on either December 24 or December 25 (but not both). The day off on December 24 or December 25 shall be in lieu of the regularly scheduled day off for the week. If the Theatre schedules a day off in the workweek in addition to the day off on either December 24 or December 25, the Theatre may schedule six performances over three consecutive days during the seven-day period prior to or following December 25 but not both. During tech week, unless there is a second day off during the workweek, there shall be a daylight day of rest in the same week as the holiday. The daylight day of rest is only required if there is a day free of technical rehearsals in Christmas week. Such daylight day of rest may end at 5:00 PM. Rule 51. REHEARSAL, PERFORMANCE, WORK RULES
Christmas. When Christmas Eve falls on Saturday or Sunday the holiday would be observed on the preceding Friday (22nd or 23rd). When Christmas falls on Saturday the holiday shall be observed on the preceding Thursday (23rd), when Christmas falls on Sunday the holiday shall be observed on the following Monday (26th).
Christmas. On Christmas Day, the parties agree that the children will open gifts first at 's home each year, and then, beginning at approximately , open presents at 's home and stay with for the balance of that night until noon the next day.
Christmas. During Christmas week, there shall be two (2) free days, one of which shall be Christmas Day. CHRISTMAS EVE AND NEW YEAR’S EVE: If the Orchestra is required to perform on December 24 after 5:30 p.m. or on December 31 after 5:30 p.m., a premium payment of one hundred per cent above the musician’s scale fee shall be paid. The Orchestra will not be required to rehearse after 5:30 p.m. on these days. Before 5:30 p.m. the Orchestra can rehearse or perform at regular scale fees. NEW YEAR’S DAY: In New Year’s week, the free day shall be New Year’s Day. GOOD FRIDAY: The Orchestra will not rehearse before 5:30 p.m. on Good Friday. If the Orchestra performs on Good Friday or rehearses after 5:30 p.m., a premium payment of one hundred percent above the musician’s scale fee shall be paid.
Christmas. (i) when Christmas Day is a Monday, the 25th and 26th days of December, or
(ii) when Christmas Day is a Tuesday, the 24th, 25th, and 26th days of December, or
(iii) when Christmas Day is a Wednesday or Thursday, the afternoon of the 24th day and the 25th and 26th days of December, or
(iv) when Christmas Day is a Friday, a Saturday or a Sunday, the 24th to 27th days of December inclusive; and
Christmas. Requests for vacation days during the Christmas Prime Time period (December 20 to January 5) will be considered subject to operations requirements and may be granted on a rotating seniority basis provided the request is submitted by September 10th.
Christmas. (1) shall have possession of the child in even-numbered years beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the day the child is dismissed from school for the Christmas school vacation and ending at noon on December 26. _________________ shall have possession for the same period in odd-numbered years.
(2) shall have possession of the child in odd-numbered years beginning at noon on December 26 and ending at 6:00 p.m. on the day before school resumes after that vacation. _________________ shall have possession for the same period in even-numbered years.
Christmas. Any and every employee who, having been dismissed or stood down by ICC during the month of December in any year, if re-employed by ICC at any time before the end of the month of January in the next succeeding year shall, if that employee has been employed by ICC for a continuous period of two (2) weeks or longer immediately prior to being dismissed or stood down, be entitled to be paid and shall be paid by ICC (at the ordinary rate payable to that employee when dismissed or stood down) for any one or more of the following holidays, namely Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and the first day of January occurring during the period on and from the date of their dismissal or standing down to and including the date of their re-employment. ICC shall nominate one day during the Christmas - New Year period, as a day which rostered employees are entitled to take off work with pay and without applying for any other forms of leave. Employees may accrue up to three (3) days in the form of TOIL (TOIL shall be hour for hour), overtime or banked RDO’s, for the specific purpose of taking this time off during the period. Staff whose RDO’s or who are on leave at this time will be credited with one (1) additional day leave to be used when best suited to operational requirements. Employee who are required to work on this day will be paid ordinary rates and that day will be taken at another time as agreed by the employee’s Supervisor.
Christmas. By September 1st of each year, the Hospital shall post a notice that requests for time off at Christmas or New Year’s period can be recorded on. At the same time all part time and casual nurses will submit their availability to work over Christmas and New Year’s. This notice for requested time off shall be taken down by October 1st. The proposed Christmas schedule along with all requests for time off for current and previous year and status of holidays worked shall be sent to the scheduling committee no later than Oct 24th. The scheduling committee shall convene a meeting no later than October 31st. Once approved by the scheduling committee, the Director shall approve and post the schedule by November 7th. Employees who are required to work over either Christmas or New Year’s shall rotate the holiday they are off from year to year. Subject to operational requirements, the most senior employee shall be granted time off at both Christmas and New Year’s, if they so wish. Such time off will be granted by seniority. If an employee is off both Christmas day and New Year’s day, the Hospital is not required to schedule five (5) consecutive days off but rather five (5) days in total off for that period.
