Continuing Professional Education. The Company agrees to pay reasonable costs associated with the continuing education requirements of maintaining the Executive’s professional designation, including related professional organization memberships, as well as seminars to advance the Executive’s skills. Such costs include the reasonable costs of seminars, travel, lodging and meals while attending such functions.

Continuing Professional Education. 6.3.1 Continuing professional education ▪ Continuing professional education is job-specific, that’s to say it is education that is necessary for the employee to be able to continue to perform his or her job well.
Continuing Professional Education. The Practice shall ensure that each Physician maintains competence in, and remains currently well-informed as to recent developments about, radiation oncology clinical protocols. Accordingly, subject to the Practice at all times providing sufficient Physicians to care for the needs of Patients, the Physicians shall attend seminars, keep current with journals and take other reasonable steps to remain proficient in the practice of radiation oncology. All seminars necessary to maintain licensure or competence shall be the responsibility of the Practice and the individual Physicians. At a minimum, the Practice shall ensure that each Physician participates in such continuing medical education as is necessary for the Physician to remain licensed.
Continuing Professional Education. A. Teachers holding a B.S. degree with no previous teaching experience employed by the district must complete eight college hours within the first eight years of employment with USD 239. Teachers holding an M.S. degree with no previous teaching experience must complete six hours within the first eight years of employment with USD 239. B. Faculty members employed in USD 239 prior to July 1, 1988 may meet the district continuing education requirement by renewing their licenses on the basis of college hours. As an option, district faculty members may complete the equivalent number of hours required for state licensing using a combination of college hours and district approved non-college work as described in “C” below. Faculty members choosing to renew their licenses using classroom experience must also complete the equivalent number of hours and/or non-college work normally required for renewal of the license based upon college hours. C. The following may be substituted for one half of the required number of college hours: educational travel, conferences and professional training not granting college credit. Such substituted hours must be approved by the Superintendent or designated representative in advance. D. Faculty members with three years or less remaining on their current licenses as of July 1, 1988, will have the continuing education requirement waived until renewal of the subsequent license. This waiver will also apply to experienced teachers employed by the district. E. Through the auspices of a professional development council which shall have the primary responsibility to advise, plan, and coordinate in-service and professional development opportunities for the district with an emphasis on building improvement plans and staff development to accommodate identified needs, each licensed teacher shall develop annually an individual development plan. Points obtained utilizing an approved individual development plan will apply for relicensing purposes. Credit on the district salary schedule will be granted only if such credit has not been obtained through any training paid for in whole or in part by the district by granting one college hour for each twenty points earned as described in the local in-service plan. F. The Board will recognize the Master’s Option as allowed by the State of Kansas for relicensing - the Master’s degree plus three years accredited teaching experience (2 renewals).
Continuing Professional Education. Employee shall be entitled to a maximum of five (5) paid days per year to be used for continuing professional education. Employer will pay the cost of continuing professional education required to maintain the professional license(s) of Employee up to the amount of $2,500 per year, and provide reimbursement of usual and customary dues and license fees consistent with Employer's policies.

In addition, our professionals routinely attend relevant national health care conferences to stay current with trends and issues. These conferences have included: American Health Lawyers Association: Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues. National Association for Medicaid Program Integrity (NAMPI). National Association of State Human Services Finance Officers (HSFO). National Association of Medicaid Directors: Annual Conference.

Such costs include the reasonable costs of seminars, travel, lodging and meals while attending such functions. The Executive shall apply for all reimbursements hereunder for a particular calendar year not later than forty-five (45) days after it ends, and payment shall occur not later than two and one-half (2½) months after the end of the calendar year to which the reimbursable expenses relate.

Continuing Professional Education. The Practice shall ensure that each of its Practice Employees participates in such continuing medical education activities as are necessary for such physicians or other employees to remain current in their respective specialties, including, but not limited to, the minimum continuing medical education requirements imposed by applicable laws and policies of applicable specialty boards.
Continuing Professional Education. The Company shall pay for or reimburse Jolas for all expenses incurred by Jolas in furtherance of Jolas' duties hereunder, including, but not limited to (i) all taxes, fees, dues, assessments, licenses, permits and franchises, applicable to attorneys licensed to practice law in the jurisdictions where Jolas currently is, or may be required to be, licensed to practice law, (ii) all fees, dues, assessments, and other costs associated with Jolas' membership in all bar associations, sections, and other professional organizations and groups, and (iii) all expenses associated with Jolas' attendance at or participation in continuing legal education seminars, programs or events, including, but not limited to, travel, lodging, tuition, books, meals, and other expenses relating to such continuing legal education events. Jolas' attendance at such continuing legal events shall not be deemed or accounted for as vacation or personal days/time.
Continuing Professional Education. The Company will support the Executive's annual continuing professional education (CPE) requirements of forty (40) yours per year. Accordingly, the Company will reimburse the Executive to attend such professional meetings and seminars, to cover expenses for materials, course fees, travel, lodging, meals, etc.
