COPE Deduction. The Employer agrees to deduct and transmit to SEIU Local 1, on a monthly basis, contributions to SEIU COPE deducted from the wages of employees who voluntarily authorize such deductions on the forms provided for that purpose by the Union. These transmittals shall be made based on a monthly invoice received from the Union which shall contain the names of the Employees and the amount to be deducted from the Employees wages who are participating in the voluntary COPE deduction program. No fees, penalties or late charges may be assessed without written notice from the Union.
COPE Deduction. The Board, upon the receipt of a written authorization from an employee, shall deduct the authorized amount of an employee’s voluntary contribution to the North Suburban Teachers Union's Committee on Political Education (COPE) from his/her pay. This contribution shall be deducted from the last paycheck in October and forwarded to the Union no more than ten (10) working days after the payday from which such deduction is made. The Union shall hold the Board harmless under the same terms as in Section 6 of this Article.
COPE Deduction. Upon receipt of a voluntary authorization in writing by an employee, the Board shall deduct from the employee’s salary the amount authorized by the employee for the Lake County Federation of Teachers Committee on Political Education (COPE). Such deduction shall be made the last paycheck in October and forwarded to the Treasurer of the Union not more than fourteen (14) days after such deductions were made, and the amount deducted for each. The Union shall defend and hold the Board harmless for any action properly performed pursuant to this Section. Union dues and COPE deductions shall be mailed in separate checks.
COPE Deduction. Upon receipt of the appropriate form generated by the Union, the City shall deduct designated amounts to be contributed to the Union’s political action committee (COPE) through payroll deduction.
COPE Deduction. The Employer agrees to deduct and transmit to IBEW/COPE an amount of $.10 from the wages of each employee who voluntarily authorizes such contributions on the forms provided for that purpose by IBEW/COPE. These transmittals shall occur monthly and shall be accompanied by a list of names of those employees for whom such deductions have been made and the amount deducted for each such employee.
COPE Deduction. The District agrees to a payroll deduction program for voluntary employee contributions to the SEIU’s 1021 Union Committee on Political Education (COPE) subject to the following conditions:
A. Voluntary deduction for COPE shall be withheld only if the employee so authorizes on a form provided by the Union.
B. Employees may sign up, change the amount of their contribution or discontinue their contributions in writing, to the Union. The Union will send a copy to the Payroll Department. These contributions or changes will take effect no later than the second period after written receipt of the change in the Payroll Department.
COPE Deduction. The Employer agrees to deduct and transmit to the treasurer of I.B.E.W. Local 236 COPE the amount specified for each hour worked from the wages of those employees who voluntarily authorize such contributions on the forms provided for that purpose by I.B.E.W., Local 236 COPE. These transmittals shall occur monthly and shall be accompanied by a list of the names of those employees for whom such deductions have been made.
COPE Deduction. The Board agrees to honor contribution deduction authorization from its teachers in the following form (or reasonable likeness): I hereby authorize the Board of Education to deduct from my salary, during the last pay period in October only, the sum of $ and to forward that amount to the Lake County Federation of Teachers, Committee on Political Education (COPE). This authorization shall continue in effect from year to year unless revoked by me in writing prior to October 1 of any school year, or upon termination of my employment. This authorization is voluntarily made on the specific understanding that the signing of this authorization and the making of payment to the COPE are not conditions of membership in the Union or of employment with the District.
COPE Deduction. Effective July 1, 2002, the employer shall deduct per schedule A per hour for all hours worked for all classifications for IBEW-COPE.
COPE Deduction. The City will also honor written assignments of wages to the Union’s Committee on Political Education (COPE) fund, for employees in the bargaining units who submit written authorizations. Employees may revoke their authorization at any time by submitting written revocation to the Payroll Department, who will forward such revocation to the Union. The City will forward to the Union the dues and COPE deductions along with the names and employee identification numbers within ten (10) calendar days of deduction, along with the names, wages and ID numbers of the employee. Although the parties agree that the COPE deduction is valid and lawful, XXXX agrees to indemnify and hold the City harmless for any claims which may be brought as a result of the COPE deduction.
