Design Analysis Sample Clauses

Design Analysis. The Consultant shall design the geometrics for the project using the design standards that are most appropriate, with the proper consideration given to the design traffic volumes, design speed, capacity and levels of service, functional classification, design consistency and driver expectancy, aesthetics, pedestrian and bicycle concerns, ADA requirements, access management, to be consistent with the alignment and typical sections, the type of construction and other design parameters. The design elements shall include, but not be limited to, the horizontal and vertical alignments, lane widths, shoulder widths, cross slopes, borders, side slopes and ditches, lane transitions, superelevation, features of intersections and interchanges, and limited access points. The geometric design developed by the Consultant shall be the engineering solution to a given problem and not merely an adherence to minimum County, ASHTO and/or FDOT standards. The Consultant shall prepare a Typical Section Package that shall include information sufficient for the County to approve overall elements of the roadway improvements related to the typical section. Significant variations along a corridor, or multiple affected roadways, may require multiple typical sections. Information to be included in the typical section package shall include the following elements with dimensions as appropriate: lanes, medians, profile grade point(s), cross-slopes (all elements as appropriate), curb type, shoulders, sidewalk placement relative to curb (or edge of pavement), centerline of construction, right of way, easements, clearing and grubbing limits, and side slopes or retaining walls as appropriate. Other elements to be provided in the package include: type of (but not necessarily thickness of) subgrade stabilization, base course, structural course and friction course (for concrete pavement the concrete is shown in lieu of the latter two items); design speed, recommended posted speed, and traffic volumes (opening and design year). The Consultant shall then prepare a Typical Section Package addressing the proposed section(s) for the mainline (including bridges if applicable) as well as all side streets. The Consultant shall also prepare a Roadway Design Criteria Package utilizing the basic design parameters. This criteria package shall address such items as Roadway Classification, Design Vehicle, Design Year, Design Speed, Horizontal Alignment, Vertical Alignment, Cross Section elements, MOT concept ...

Design Analysis. The contractor shall perform all analysis efforts to produce new data in support of technology development, technology integration, and technology demonstration. These tasks include all analyses required to clearly identify design shortfalls and develop a mature technology concept to eliminate the shortfalls, integrate the new technology unit into the system, and demonstrate the system performance with the new technology unit through flight tests. This includes operational analysis to quantify the requirements, system analysis to allocate the requirements, subsystem analysis to identify technology concepts to eliminate the shortfalls, and cost analysis to assure that the proposed solution is cost-effective. Potential deliverables for Section 3.1.2 shall be IAW DI-MCCR-80700 Computer Software Product End Item, DI-MISC-80711 Scientific and Technical Reports, DI-CMAN-81248A Interface Control Document (ICD), DI-CMAN-80858 Configuration Management Plan, DI-SESS-81002 Developmental Design Drawings, Models & Associated Lists, DI-SDMP-81493 Program Unique Specification Documents, and DI-SESS-81000 Product Drawings, Models & Associated Lists.
Design Analysis. Xxxxx Xxxxxxx will develop bottom liner grading plan alternatives to determine potential cost savings. The bottom liner alternatives will be based on earthfill and infrastructure requirements, hydrologic performance, and airspace for waste disposal. The horizontal dimensions will be based on site development constraints. The vertical dimension will be based on geometric and dewatering constraints. The following tasks are expected to be completed as part of this effort:

  • Escrow Analysis If applicable, with respect to each Mortgage Loan, the Seller has within the last twelve months (unless such Mortgage was originated within such twelve month period) analyzed the required Escrow Payments for each Mortgage and adjusted the amount of such payments so that, assuming all required payments are timely made, any deficiency will be eliminated on or before the first anniversary of such analysis, or any overage will be refunded to the Mortgagor, in accordance with RESPA and any other applicable law;

  • Research Analyst Independence The Company acknowledges that the Underwriters’ research analysts and research departments are required to be independent from their respective investment banking divisions and are subject to certain regulations and internal policies, and that such Underwriters’ research analysts may hold views and make statements or investment recommendations and/or publish research reports with respect to the Company and/or the offering that differ from the views of their respective investment banking divisions. The Company hereby waives and releases, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any claims that the Company may have against the Underwriters with respect to any conflict of interest that may arise from the fact that the views expressed by their independent research analysts and research departments may be different from or inconsistent with the views or advice communicated to the Company by such Underwriters’ investment banking divisions. The Company acknowledges that each of the Underwriters is a full service securities firm and as such from time to time, subject to applicable securities laws, may effect transactions for its own account or the account of its customers and hold long or short positions in debt or equity securities of the companies that may be the subject of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement.

  • Project Scope The physical scope of the Project shall be limited to only those capital improvements as described in Appendix A of this Agreement. In the event that circumstances require a change in such physical scope, the change must be approved by the District Committee, recorded in the District Committee's official meeting minutes, and provided to the OPWC Director for the execution of an amendment to this Agreement.
