Emergency Call-In Pay. Employees in the Bargaining Unit called in to work in case of an emergency shall receive pay for a minimum of two (2) hours, based on their regular hourly rate. If such emergency time occurs on a holiday contained in this Agreement or on a regular day off the pay shall be time and one-half the employee’s regular hourly rate.

Emergency Call-In Pay. Call In pay is payment for work assigned by the Chief or his designee, and performed by an employee at a time not contiguous with his normal pre-scheduled work hours, but does not apply to call-ins due to the employee’s fault or neglect. Contiguous includes two hours prior to a scheduled shift and immediately following the scheduled shift. The employee will receive two hours minimum pay when the employee arrives at the station within 30 minutes of the call for assistance. Should the employee arrive later than 30 minutes from the time of the call for assistance, the employee will be compensated for the time worked commencing from the time of arrival.
Emergency Call-In Pay. If by the determination of the officer in charge there exists an emergency situation requiring the call-in of off-duty employees, there shall be at least five (5) individuals called in, regardless of rank. These called in employees shall be paid for a minimum of four hours pay to be computed at their respective hourly rate. The employee to be called in should be the employee most able to respond in the least amount of time. The time worked as emergency call-in time shall not be included in employee’s total hours on overtime list. It shall not be a violation of this paragraph if the emergency is terminated before five (5) members are called, or in case the officer in charge determines that he/she needs a person with some specific expertise.

Emergency Call-In Pay. Any employee called in to work outside the regularly scheduled hours will be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours pay. This provision is applicable only when the employee has completed the daily run and signed out for the day and is not applicable in the event of additional assigned work immediately before or after the employee’s regularly scheduled work day. When there is a break of thirty minutes or less between the employee’s regular work day and the extra assignment this minimum pay provision shall not apply.
Emergency Call-In Pay. Any employee called into work on an emergency basis, between the hours of 11:00 pm and 6:00 am, Monday through Friday, or 12:00 noon on Saturday and 6:00 am Monday, will be guaranteed one (1) hour's pay at a rate of double time. All hours worked on such emergency will be paid at double time. Note: This shall not apply if overtime work has been previously scheduled during these hours.
Emergency Call-In Pay. The minimum call-in pay will be two hours at the double time (2X) rate. When called in no more than two (2) hours prior to the start of a shift the full scheduled shift must be worked. Also, if an employee is called into work outside of their normal hours and as such interrupts their normal sleep, there will be a minimum of six (6) hours between leaving the plant from the call-in period and reporting to work the next normal shift. If the six (6) hours extends beyond the start time of the normal shift, the employee will be paid from the start of the shift and up until the expiry of the six (6) hour time period.
