General Entitlement. (a) Employees who are primary carers as defined in the Act are entitled to the following:
(i) Parental leave of up to twelve months without pay for employees with at least one year’s service at the time of commencing leave.
(ii) Parental leave of up to six months without pay for employees with less than one year’s service at the time of commencing leave.
(b) Employees intending to take parental leave are required to give not less than three months’ notice in writing and the application is to be accompanied by a certificate signed by a registered medical practitioner or midwife certifying the expected date of delivery. The provision is waived in the case of adoption or circumstances outside the control of the employee.
(c) Employees are required to give at least one month’s notice of return to work.
(d) The maximum period of parental leave may be taken by either the employee exclusively or may be shared by the employee and their partner either concurrently or consecutively. This applies whether or not one or both partners are employed by the employer.
(e) The parental leave may be taken in more than one continuous period, with the start and finish dates of each additional period, and any extension of parental leave past the anniversary date of the commencement of parental leave, to be agreed between the employer and the employee.
(f) An employee returning from parental leave may request the employer to vary the proportion of full-time employment from that which applied before the leave was taken. The granting of such a request shall be at the discretion of the employer.
General Entitlement. (i) his Base Salary through the date of termination, but not yet paid to him;
(ii) payment in lieu of any unused vacation, in accordance with Asyst’s vacation policy and applicable laws;
(iii) any annual or discretionary bonus earned but not yet paid to him for any completed fiscal year prior to the fiscal year in which his termination occurs;
(iv) any compensation under any deferred compensation plan of Asyst or deferred compensation agreement with Asyst then in effect (subject to the terms and conditions of such plan);
(v) any other compensation or benefits, including without limitation any benefits under long-term incentive compensation plans, any benefits under equity grants and awards and employee benefits under plans that have vested through the date of termination, or to which he may then be entitled, in accordance with the applicable terms of each grant, award or plan; and
(vi) reimbursement of any business expenses reasonably and properly incurred by the Executive through the date of termination, but not yet paid to him.

(v) any other compensation or benefits, including without limitation any benefits under long-term incentive compensation plans, any benefits under equity grants and awards and employee benefits under plans that have vested through the date of termination or to which he may then be entitled in accordance with the applicable terms of each grant, award or plan; and
(vi) reimbursement of any business expenses incurred by the Executive through the date of termination but not yet paid to him.
General Entitlement. (a) During the first six months of service with the New Zealand Fire Service, the Employee will be entitled to five (5) days leave for occasions when they are sick or injured, their spouse and/or dependent(s) is sick or injured.
(b) For the purposes of sickness or injury of dependants, the 5 days leave referred to above shall apply on a per annum basis and may be accumulated each year to a maximum of twenty (20) days, and beyond that at the Employer‟s sole discretion.
(c) After completion of six months continuous service with the New Zealand Fire Service, an employee who is sick or injured shall be entitled to take sufficient time off work on pay as is necessary to effect a recovery from the illness or injury and return to work. This entitlement does not apply in respect of sickness or injury of dependents and/or bereavements and is subject to the limitations in this employment agreement and relevant employer policies. (d) The entitlements in this schedule are inclusive of (and are not in addition to) any entitlement in the Holidays Act 2003.

General Entitlement. Employees are entitled to parental leave in accordance with the provisions of the Fair Work Xxx 0000, as amended. In accordance with the provisions of the Fair Work Xxx 0000, eligible employees are entitled to a maximum of 52 weeks unpaid leave in regard to the birth or adoption of a child.
General Entitlement. (i) Base Salary through the Date of Termination;
(ii) payment in lieu of any accrued but unused vacation in accordance with Asyst’s policy and procedures and applicable laws;
(iii) any annual bonus deemed earned, due and payable but not yet paid to Executive;
(iv) any deferred compensation deemed earned and due under any incentive compensation plan of Asyst or any deferred compensation agreement then in effect;
(v) any other right, compensation, payment or benefit, including without limitation long-term incentive compensation, benefits under equity awards, and employee benefits that have vested through the Date of Termination or to which Executive may then be entitled in accordance with the applicable terms of each award or plan; and
(vii) reimbursement of any reasonable and appropriate business expenses incurred by Executive through the Date of Termination but not yet paid to Executive.
General Entitlement.
22.1.1 Long Service Leave is provided for in accordance with the NES, or where applicable, the Long Service Act 2018 (Vic) as amended from time to time. This clause supplements the NES provision.
22.1.2 Long service leave will accrue at the rate of one point three (1.3) weeks per annum.
22.1.3 An Employee is entitled to long service leave of nine point one (9.1) weeks upon the completion of seven (7) years of continuous employment. An Employee is entitled to apply to take long service leave upon the completion of seven years of continuous employment.
22.1.4 An Employee may request to take long service leave for twice the period (minimum two terms), which will be paid at half the Employee’s ordinary rate of pay. In special circumstances, an application for a shorter period of long service leave will be considered by the Employer.
22.1.5 Accrued long service leave will be paid in lieu where an Employee’s employment is terminated after seven (7) years of continuous employment.
22.1.6 If an Employee dies before taking all the long service leave to which the Employee is entitled, the Employer must pay to the Employee’s personal representative the full amount of the long service leave entitlement still owed to the Employee.
