High School Work Load. The employee workload in grades nine (9) through twelve (12) (except band and choir) shall be a maximum class size of 30. These calculations shall exclude student assistants. Class sizes where space, workstations, safety concerns or other mitigating circumstances exist will be determined by mutual agreement between the classroom teacher and building administrator.

High School Work Load. The employee workload in grades nine (9) through twelve (12) (except band and choir) shall be no more than 105 students per four-period day and no more than 35 per class; no more than 130 students per five-period day and no more than 32 per class; no more than 150 students per six-period day and no more than 30 per class. Physical education classes are subject to only the daily student count. Secondary Counselors -1 per 425 FTE students calculated on total high school enrollment on May 1 of prior year.
High School Work Load. The high school teacher contract day begins forty five (45) minutes prior to the students’ attendance day and ends fourteen (14) minutes at the conclusion of the students’ attendance day. A high school zero hour may be implemented starting with the second semester of the 2017-2018 school year. The student day shall consist of seven (7) periods. Students who take zero hour course may take 8 periods. Each high school teacher shall be assigned five (5) teaching assignments during both the fall and spring semesters, plus one (1) supervisory assignment either first or second semester during the school year. Teachers will have one (1) planning period and supervisory assignment one (1) semester and two (2) planning periods the other semester daily. Every effort will be made by administration to limit supervisory duty to study halls (maximum 24 students) and driver’s education course supervision (maximum 30 students). only. Teachers will be chosen on a rotating basis so that supervisory duties may not be required from every teacher every year. Exemptions from the supervisory assignment would be teachers teaching an Advanced Placement (AP) course, teachers with more than 5 courses, teachers with two courses in the same period, or teachers agreeing to an overload assignment (first/second semester or full year or part-time teaching assignments). Regular part-time certified personnel will be provided planning and preparation time on a pro rata basis. Determination of a zero and sixth assignment and/or supervisory duty will be based on the following procedures. i. Assignment for study hall/supervisory duty will be made by the administration with no compensation. ii. Volunteers will be sought for a zero (0) or sixth (6th) assignment. Teachers shall be selected from a list of qualified volunteers. Those qualified teachers with the highest seniority shall be first offered the assignment. iii. If there are not sufficient volunteers for the zero (0) or sixth (6th) assignment, such extra assignment shall be distributed equitably for no more than one (1) semester of a school year. The Administration shall assign qualified teachers on the basis or reverse seniority. Such assignments shall be made after consultation with the President of the local association or President’s designee. As part of this consultation, the Administration shall provide evidence of seeking volunteers for such assignments. iv.   • Work Load The professional obligation of academic employees comprises both scheduled and non-scheduled activities. The Guild and the District recognize that it is part of the professional responsibility of faculty to carry out their duties in an appropriate manner and place. As part of this responsibility faculty are expected to play an important role in the recruitment and retention of students, campus and departmental governance, program review, accreditation, planning and mentoring. Faculty commitment to retention will be demonstrated by informing students that they are to talk with the instructor prior to dropping the course. Faculty are encouraged to include a statement to this effect in their course syllabi. While it is understood that course syllabi content falls within the purview of the individual faculty member’s academic freedom, the parties also understand that items required to be part of syllabi in order to maintain college or continuing education accreditation must also be included. Tenured/tenure-track faculty who have less than a full-time contract are not eligible to work any additional assignments including long-term substitution (day-to-day substitution is allowed provided the limits specified in Section 5.2.1.3 are not exceeded). Faculty assignments shall be made in the following priority order: Tenured/tenure-track, pro- rata, overload, Priority of Assignment (POA) adjunct faculty assignments, then non-POA adjunct faculty.

  • Contractor Project Manager The Contractor Project Manager shall serve, from the Effective Date, as the Contractor project manager and primary Contractor representative under this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall (i) have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating the performance of Contractor’s obligations under this Agreement, including the performance of all Subcontractors; and (ii) be authorized to act for and bind Contractor and Subcontractors in connection with all aspects of this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall respond promptly and fully to all inquiries from the JBE Project Manager.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at a P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

  • Equipment and Materials CONTRACTOR shall provide all equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for the performance on the Agreement except:

  • Construction Phase Services 3.1.1 – Basic Construction Services

  • Designated Configuration; Trained Personnel State Street and the Fund shall be responsible for supplying, installing and maintaining the Designated Configuration at the Designated Locations. State Street and the Fund agree that each will engage or retain the services of trained personnel to enable both parties to perform their respective obligations under this Addendum. State Street agrees to use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the System so that it remains serviceable, provided, however, that State Street does not guarantee or assure uninterrupted remote access use of the System.

  • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a Contractor approved Configuration Management Plan that complies with ANSI/EIA-649 2011. Notwithstanding ANSI/EIA-649 2011, the Contractor’s configuration management program shall comply with the VLS Configuration Management Plans, TL130-AD-PLN-010-VLS, and shall comply with the following:

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If CSTC chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, CSTC’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by CSTC to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG. 9.2.2 CSTC shall establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks pursuant to applicable access Tariffs by which it will provide Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic to and from CSTC’s Customers. 9.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be two-way trunks. Such trunks shall connect the End Office CSTC utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow CSTC’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.

  • Personnel Equipment and Material Engineer shall furnish and maintain, at its own expense, quarters for the performance of all Engineering Services, and adequate and sufficient personnel and equipment to perform the Engineering Services as required. All employees of Engineer shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. Any employee of Engineer who, in the reasonable opinion of County, is incompetent or whose conduct becomes detrimental to the Engineering Services shall immediately be removed from association with the Project when so instructed by County. Engineer certifies that it presently has adequate qualified personnel in its employment for performance of the Engineering Services required under this Contract, or will obtain such personnel from sources other than County. Engineer may not change the Project Manager without prior written consent of County.

  • Installation Services The Bitstream 2a Service includes a Standard Install as set out below (in each case to the extent that the relevant provisioning works are not already complete for the relevant Service Order).1
