The Employee is entitled to holiday pay, calculated at 8% of gross earnings, and the parties have agreed that the holiday pay entitlement will be paid to the employee at the end of the period of employment OR holiday pay will be paid for each pay period as a separately identified part of the Employee’s pay, on each pay day 7.2 The employee shall be entitled to be paid the portion of the employee’s relevant daily pay or average daily pay that relates to the time actually worked on the day plus half that amount again for the time actually worked on a Public Holiday. 7.3 The Employee shall be required to work on a public holiday, if the day falls on a day which is an agreed day of work for the Employee.
Holidays and Leave Entitlements. 7.1 The Employee is not entitled to paid holidays, but receives holiday pay, calculated at 8% of gross earnings, in each pay period. 7.2 The Employee shall be entitled to five days' sick leave and paid bereavement leave in accordance with the Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000, if they have worked for six months at an average of at least 10 hours per week, and at least one hour per week or 40 hours per month. Sick leave and paid bereavement leave can be taken only during agreed periods of work.
Holidays and Leave Entitlements. NOTE: 1 (one) week’s unpaid leave will be allowed for each twelve months’ service, and the timing of the leave is to be agreed between the Employer and Employee with at least 28 days’ notice to be provided if required by the Employer; this entitlement will not accumulate.

If the employee leaves their employment before becoming entitled to enough annual holidays to cover the amount of annual holidays they took in advance: - the employer may recover the amount paid to the employee for holidays taken in advance that is not covered by the employees annual holiday entitlement. This clause is subject to the Wages Protection Xxx 0000. The employee's signature will satisfy the written consent requirement of section 5 of the Wages Protection Xxx 0000.

  • Leave Entitlements (a) A sessional practitioner shall be entitled to pro rata leave entitlements (excluding paid overseas study leave) in the same ratio as the number of sessions allocated bears to 10. If during any qualifying period the number of sessions allocated to a sessional practitioner varies, the number shall be averaged over the qualifying period. (b) A sessional practitioner shall be entitled to paid public holidays in accordance with Clause 31 – Public Holidays if the public holidays occur on a day on which a session is normally worked. If a sessional practitioner is required to work on a public holiday the provisions of Clause 28(6) shall apply.

  • Sick Leave Entitlement A permanent full-time employee shall earn paid sick leave at the rate of one and one-half (1½) days per month. Sick leave shall accumulate to a total of eighty-five (85) working days. Permanent part-time employees shall be entitled to sick leave on a pro-rata basis.

  • Entitlement to Leave An employee shall be granted Workers' Compensation leave with pay in the event that the Workers' Compensation Board (WorkSafe BC) determines that the employee has established a claim (time loss benefits) and they are unable to perform their duties by reason of the compensable injury which occurred while employed by the Employer. For the purposes of this clause, pay is defined as the employee's regular take-home wages to ensure that the non-taxable status of Workers' Compensation benefits does not provide an opportunity for an injured worker to earn more while on claim than if they were working. The term claim will not include any form of WCB allowance or pension, and this section will not be operative while an employee is receiving such a different form of payment from WCB arising from this claim.

  • Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave During the Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation, paid holidays and sick leave in accordance with the Company's standard policies for its senior executive officers.
