Labor-Management Committee Meetings. A. The Union through its designated agents shall be enti- tled at the national, area, and local levels, and at such other intermediate levels as may be appropriate, to participate in regularly scheduled Joint Labor-Management Committee meetings for the purpose of discussing, exploring, and consid- ering with management matters of mutual concern; provided neither party shall attempt to change, add to or vary the terms of this Collective Bargaining Agreement.
B. All other national level committees established pursuant to the terms of this Agreement shall function as subcommittees of the national level Labor-Management Committee.
C. Meetings at the national and area (except as to the Christmas operation) levels will not be compensated by the Employer. The Employer will compensate one designated rep- resentative from the Union for actual time spent in the meeting at the applicable straight time rate, providing the time spent in such meetings is a part of the employee’s regular scheduled work day.

C. Meetings at the national and area (except as to the

Union members may attend labor-management committee meetings during the workday with the understanding that they are salaried employees and may exercise reasonable discretion in the use of their time as long as they continue to meet expectations and standards regarding productivity and Court schedules. The City does not intend to compensate members for time spent in Union -related activities.
Labor-Management Committee Meetings. Section 1 For the purpose of maintaining communications be- tween Labor and Management in order to cooperatively discuss and solve problems of mutual concern, either party may request Labor/Management meetings as needed. The requesting party shall prepare and submit an Agenda no later than three (3) days prior to the scheduled meeting. The meetings shall be scheduled at a time, date, and place of mutual agreement.
Section 2 All employees will be provided with a current job description. The Employer will also post job descrip- tions on the District’s website.
Section 3 Drivers will be subject to drug and alcohol usage testing upon employment, on a random basis thereafter, and following involvement in any accident. The Board will notify the Union, in advance and in writing, of any changes in the identity of the testing facility used by the Board for such testing; the Union will promptly notify the Board of any objections to the new testing facility, but an objection by the Union shall not limit the Board’s discretion to select a testing facility. The drug and alcohol usage testing program will not be less than that required under the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. Any post-accident or random testing done under federal law shall be at District expense.
Labor-Management Committee Meetings. For the purpose of maintaining communications between labor and management in order to cooperatively discuss and solve problems of mutual concern:
a) The head of each work location or his/her designee shall meet monthly with the appropriate Union committee representing this bargaining unit or, if the parties agree, combined meetings with other AFSCME bargaining units. Less frequent meetings may occur by mutual agreement of the parties;
b) The agency head and/or his/her designees shall meet with the Union at least once every six (6) months;
c) The Department of Central Management Services shall meet with the Union at least once every six

a. For the purpose of handling complaints and/or grievances, attending Labor/Management meet- ings and negotiations, and/or attending other meetings necessary for the smooth operation of the Employer, the Union shall be allowed to select their representative(s).
Labor-Management Committee Meetings. The parties agree to hold quarterly labor- management committee meetings between designated representatives of each. One or more members of the Board of Education shall be present at such meetings to facilitate communication between the Association and both the District administration and the board. Each party shall notify the other not less than five working days prior to the meeting of issues it wishes to address. Other issues may be added with the parties’ mutual consent. Labor-management meetings are intended to facilitate communications between the parties, resolve potential problems and/or differences before they arise and provide a forum for the parties to discuss and explore matters of mutual interest and concern. It is not intended to substitute or replace forums, remedies or legal arenas already available to either party nor shall it constitute a waiver of any other rights which may apply, nor an administrative procedure which any party must exhaust before seeking relief in any other forum. All agreements reached between the parties at Labor- Management shall be put into writing and signed by the parties within ten (10) school days. Upon execution of the July 1, 2015-June 30, 2019 agreement, the parties will meet to establish a joint labor-management training program to meet at mutually agreeable times and without costs to the employee. Employees participating in such program shall not be required to utilize any leave time in order to participate in such training. The District shall pay for such training (up to a maximum of $5,000) through a consultant selected by the Association, subject to approval of such consultant by the District. The consultant shall work with the District and the Association to determine the scope of such training.
Labor-Management Committee Meetings. The parties agree that meetings may be desirable for the purpose of discussing problems which may arise out of the operation of this Agreement and other issues of concern to either party.
