Labour Adjustment Committee. In addition to that, and to any other planning committee in the Hospital of a more broadly representational make-up, there shall be immediately established a Labour Adjustment Committee for the bargaining unit, which shall meet during the term of this agreement every three months, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the parties. It shall be the function of the Labour Adjustment Committee to consider possible ways and means of avoiding or minimizing potential adverse effects upon employees in the bargaining unit, including:
Labour Adjustment Committee. (a) With respect to the development of any operating or re-structuring plan which may affect the bargaining unit, the Union shall be involved in the planning process from the early phases through to the final phases of the process.
Labour Adjustment Committee. 23.01 (a) With respect to the development of any operating or re-structuring plan, which may affect the bargaining unit, the Union will be notified and shall be involved immediately in the planning process from the early phases through to the final phases of the process.
Labour Adjustment Committee. The Company agrees to participate in the formation of a Labour Management Adjustment Committee that will seek financial assistance from the Industrial Adjustment Service (Federal Government) and the Office of Labour Adjustment (Ontario Government).
Labour Adjustment Committee. 2.1 The Labour Adjustment Committee shall consist of up to six representatives of management and up to six representatives of the Union. The Committee shall be co-chaired by the appropriate senior Company Officer, or designate and the President Council 4000. Part-time union officers participating in Labour Adjustment Committee meetings will not lose any pay. The Company will reimburse union officers participating in Labour Adjustment Committee meetings for reasonable expenses incurred as per provisions of the Collective Agreement. The Committee will meet quarterly or as often as is deemed appropriate by the Co-Chairpersons.
Labour Adjustment Committee. (a) With respect to the development of any operating or restructuring plan, which affects the bargaining unit, the Union shall be involved in the planning process from the early phases through to the final phases of the process. The Hospital agrees to discuss intended changes and the rational for making such changes with the Union Committee prior to their implementation.
Labour Adjustment Committee. The parties shall promote participation by Union members and by Union members designated by Unions in health reform and utilization management to ensure that: health reform objectives are advanced; waste, inefficiencies, and inappropriate utilization are reduced or eliminated; and employee workloads are not excessive or unsafe. There shall be no repercussions for employees participating in such activities and the employees shall do so without loss of pay or receive straight-time regular wages for attending meetings of the joint labour adjustment committee.
Labour Adjustment Committee. The Full Time and Part Time Chairpersons will meet quarterly each year at a time to be mutually agreed upon with the President and Chief Human Resources Officer. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss issues as they relate to the relationship between the Hospital and the Union as a means of proactively addressing areas of concern. Agendas will be developed by the parties and exchanged in advance of the meetings so each party may be prepared for a meaningful dialogue. Such meeting may include others invited by either the Hospital or the Union to act as a resource to the meeting. It shall be the function of the Labour Adjustment Committee to consider possible ways and means of avoiding or minimizing potential adverse effects upon employees in the bargaining unit, including:
Labour Adjustment Committee. Three (3) Representatives from Management and three (3) from the Union will sit on a Labour Adjustment Committee that will meet regularly up to the closure date. This committee will review various employee aspects related to the wind down of operations, such as employee scheduling and workforce reductions.
Labour Adjustment Committee. 2.1 A Labour Adjustment Committee consisting of eight members, four of whom shall be appointed by the Company and four of whom shall be appointed by the Union will be established. The Committee will meet as required, but no less than once per calendar year.
