Accumulation of Sick Leave Days. Teachers will be advised of their accumulated days as of the previous June 30 in September of each year. In addition, the Board shall forward a final statement to all teachers who leave the employ of the Board and who have provided a forwarding address.
Accumulation of Sick Leave Days a. Sick leave available is equal to the number of days of cumulative sick leave which has been earned by the Faculty member plus the number of days of current annual sick leave to which he is entitled. Current annual sick leave entitlement will start the month an employee begins work. (BOR 10/21/71)

Accumulation of Sick Leave Days. A. At the beginning of each subsequent calendar year, each full-time employee shall be credited with fifteen sick leave days. At the beginning of each subsequent calendar year, each part-time employee shall be credited with sick leave days in accordance with the following chart: Employees who work five, 4-hour days per week shall be credited with fifteen, 4-hour sick leave days. Employees who work three, 7-hour days per week shall be credited with nine, 7-hour sick leave days. Employees who work five, 5-hour days per week shall be credited with fifteen, 5-hour sick leave days. Employees who work four, 7-hour days per week shall be credited with twelve, 7-hour sick leave days.
Accumulation of Sick Leave Days. A full-time employee may accumulate for future use at full pay a maximum of eleven (11) days for 10 month employees and thirteen (13) days for 12 month employees per year less the number of days used. Each day’s absence reduces the possible accumulation. There is no limit to the number of days which may be accumulated. Part-time employees will be allowed sick leave in proportion to the time employed.
Accumulation of Sick Leave Days. Employees shall not accumulate sick leave while on approved leave of absence. SECTION 10: FMLA Maternity/Paternity Leaves, Sick Leave, Illness Leaves, and Prolonged Illness in Family Leaves, if granted, shall be administered consistent with, and shall satisfy the District’s obligations regarding, Family and Medical Act (FMLA) leaves. Also, employees seeking FMLA leave may be required to use any of the paid or unpaid leave available to them under applicable contract provisions.
Accumulation of Sick Leave Days. All sick leave days not taken while employed in the River Edge School District shall be cumulative from year to year with no maximum limit.
