Life Insurance and Disability Coverage. 1. The Employer will pay the full insurance policy premium for each regular full time employee to provide $30,000 individual life insurance. Further, each employee will be allowed to purchase through payroll deduction a maximum of $100,000 additional insurance. To be eligible for additional insurance, the employee must qualify under the rules and regulations of the respective carrier, which includes both the provision of medical evidence sufficient to assure insurability, and enrollment in accord with a schedule of rates as provided by the carrier.

Life Insurance and Disability Coverage. The City shall provide Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Insurance for members of these Units in the amounts and formulas currently provided.   • Life and Disability Insurance The Company will provide term life and disability insurance payable to the Employee, in each case in an amount up to a maximum of one times the Employee’s base salary in effect from time to time, provided however, that such amount will be reduced by the amount of any life insurance or death or disability benefit coverage, as applicable, that is provided to the Employee under any other benefit plans or arrangements of the Company. Employees who are receiving or who are eligible to receive LTD shall be eligible to participate in the City's Catastrophic Illness Program as set forth in the ordinance governing such program.
