METHOD OF ENGAGEMENT. All Engagements that comply with this Agreement will be based on Purchase Orders. Under No Circumstances will there be any Implied Guarantee of Work / Engagement following the acceptance of the Tendered Rates and / or as a result of previous tenure as an External Plant Hire Contractor.
METHOD OF ENGAGEMENT. The parties agree that employees will normally be engaged on a casual basis due to the predominantly casualised nature of the diving industry. Any dispute arising between the parties as to what the permanent arrangements shall be, will be dealt with in accordance with the Dispute/Grievance Resolution Procedure contained within this Agreement.
METHOD OF ENGAGEMENT. When a need arises for the Merchandise and/or Services detailed in Exhibit A, University shall issue a Purchase Order to Supplier, referencing this Agreement.
METHOD OF ENGAGEMENT. (a) The Parties agree that employees will be engaged on a casual basis due to the predominantly casual nature of the diving industry (b) Employees will be engaged to work as a Diver, Dive Supervisor or in the Workshop. The Dive attendant role will not be utilised by the Company. For the purposes of this clause, a higher paid classification means a classification where the total salary and allowances payable are greater than the total salary and allowances payable at the employee’s current classification. (d) Offers and requests for conversion from casual employment to full-time or part-time employment are provided for in the NES (the rates in this Agreement are based on casual employment and include 20% casual loading in lieu of all leave and other entitlements of permanent employment other than long service leave where applicable under state law. If an Employee were to convert to permanent employment the rates in Schedule 1 would decrease by 20%.) (e) Any dispute arising between the Parties as to permanent arrangements shall be dealt with in accordance with Dispute Resolution Procedure contained within this Agreement. Job Security (f) The Company will give Local divers full, fair and reasonable opportunity to be employed in preference to non-local divers, subject to applicable laws. (g) The Company and Employees are committed to ensuring the ongoing viability of the employment of Local divers. (h) The Company will not engage through labour hire to supply personnel to fill any of the classifications covered by this Agreement with the intent of pursuing a reduction in wages and conditions of employees or to erode ongoing employment and will therefore provide the same wages and conditions to labour hire employees if they are engaged in dive operations consistent with the scope of this Agreement. (i) In the event the Company subcontracts its dive operations to a third party this Agreement will not apply.

METHOD OF ENGAGEMENT. A weekly hire employee may elect to be engaged as a casual employee. In such cases, the daily hire engagement will be deemed to be terminated and the employee will be paid out all outstanding entitlements and recommence employment as a casual employee.
METHOD OF ENGAGEMENT a) Payment for the Manpower and Resources for all activities enumerated for running, maintenance, management & administration shall be at actuals and to be paid by Organization/ Institute and will reimburse by ▇▇▇▇ on monthly basis subject to production of documentary evidence for the previous month's payment along with current month's bills. b) Payment for the part of Management fee for Development of NINI as ▇▇▇ will be on Half Yearly basis subject to achievement of Milestones. The Salary/ Remuneration of Project Director, Domain Experts and the Quality Auditor shall be borne by the Organization/ Institute and be part of the lump sum amount quoted by Organization/ Institute. However, Remuneration/ salary of the Key Experts will be paid on quarterly basis subject to production of documentary evidence. c) The Procurement of all books, journals, equipment, teaching tools, smart board, laptop, computers, software, mock-up, simulators, emulators, boats, vessels etc. shall be facilitated by the Organization/ Institute, the funds for the procurement to be provided for by ▇▇▇▇. d) When training course and/or training facility is to be arranged outside the NINI campus, same shall be facilitated by the Organization/ Institute and all costs including of the TA/DA of project director/ project manager to be borne by ▇▇▇▇. e) The Organization/ Institute will depute a Project Director, Domain Expert (one day per week), Project Manager, Manager (Business development and counselling) for development and management of NINI at its own cost. f) The Organization/ Institute will depute a Principal at NINI, Patna and take charge of the envisaged training programmes and day-to-day academic running of the institute and provide direction to teaching and non-teaching staff. g) The Project Director & Project Manager shall be placed at NINI who will assist in the day-to- day development and management of NINI. h) Trainee for courses would be identified, selected and made available for training at NINI jointly by ▇▇▇▇ and the Organization/ Institute and all the cost associated with this activity will be borne by ▇▇▇▇. i) The placement of trainees on inland vessels is the key to development of competent work force in IWT sector. The expenses related with placement activities like meeting with shipping companies, holding of placement campaigns etc. shall be borne by IWAI. j) The necessary funds for all the above activities along with outside campus or place of work traveling of faculty...
METHOD OF ENGAGEMENT. 3.2.1 All employees shall be engaged as either a salaried, full-time, part-time or casual employee. Permanent employees shall be engaged as either a base rate or loaded rate employee. 3.2.2 Permanent base rate employee" means a full-time or part-time employee who is normally required to work Monday to Friday. Such an employee shall be entitled to weekend penalty rates and/or late work allowances as prescribed by the Hospitality Industry - Accommodation, Hotels, Resorts and Gaming Award 1998 or the Clerical Award - Hotels, Resorts and Certain Other Licensed Premises - State (South East Queensland) whichever is the relevant Award. 3.2.3 A "Permanent loaded rate employee" means a full-time or part-time employee who is required to work any day or hour of the week and is paid a loaded rate of 15% in lieu of weekend penalty rates, late work allowances and public holidays as specified by this Agreement. 3.2.4 A "Salaried employee" means a full-time employee who is paid at a rate equivalent to an annual salary of at least 25% or more above the relevant ordinary weekly base rate prescribed in this agreement times 52, in lieu of overtime, weekend penalty rates, late work allowances and public holidays, in accordance with the following provisions: (a) Ordinary hours may be performed up to a maximum of 200 hours per 4 week cycle. Any work performed in excess of this amount over the cycle shall be deemed to be overtime and paid at the rate specified in Clause 4.4 Extra Hours and Overtime. (b) At least 8 days off per month. Provided that health and safety considerations must be taken into account in the rostering of any such employees. (c) Benefits provided for in clause 5.2 Statutory Holidays - Loaded Rate Employees.
