HEALTH AND SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS a) The Employee agrees to maintain a defined and secure workspace that meets the corporate and departmental occupational health and safety policies and other safety regulations that may apply in the jurisdiction to which they have relocated. A completed Health and Safety Self-Assessment Checklist must be attached to this Agreement.
HEALTH AND SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS. All employees on site during Phases 2-4 will follow the safety conditions listed below. ** More detailed health and safety information can be found in the attached document titled COVID-19 Return to In-Person Instruction RCTA Health and Safety Addendum. The District shall adhere to the COVID guidelines issued by the California Department of Public Health (“CDPH”), California Department of Education (“CDE”), California Department of Industrial Relations Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA), and/or the Riverside County Office of Public Health ("RCOPH")(collectively "Health and Safety Agencies"). The parties agree to meet as soon as possible to negotiate the impact and effects of revisions or updates to those guidelines. Guidance and directives from Health and Safety Agencies may be amended or eliminated from time to time due to changed conditions and new information learned about COVID-19.
HEALTH AND SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS. Child and Family will have all recommended vaccinations and to aid in preventable diseases. Nanny will have all updated vaccinations including pertussis (Tdap), meningitis, MMR (Measels, Mumps, and Rubella), and Influenza (flu) vaccination. If needed, Nanny may be eligible for reimbursement to get the acquired vaccinations at Family expense. Family travels globally and is exposed to global diseases in airports, planes, and during travel so the vaccinations are a genuine health risk. Nanny will provide current infant/child CPR and first aid training documentation and/or will complete such training within sixty (60) days of start date. Family may cover the cost of this class; however, it shall be Nanny’s responsibility to make arrangements for attending the class during off-duty hours.
HEALTH AND SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused federal, state, and local public health officers to issue orders and guidance impacting the educational operations of the District in order to minimize health and safety risks associated with COVID-19 infection and illness. The District may transition to a hybrid or full in-person learning only when allowed by CDPH and VCPH , and only after consulting with stakeholders, including, but not limited to labor representatives, the governing board, employees, students, and parents. Both parties agree to follow the guidance outlined in the COVID-19 and Reopening In- Person Learning Framework for K-12 Schools in California, 2020-2021 School Year as a minimum level of safety.   • Health and Safety Training Regular employees and auxiliary employees in posted positions shall participate in a Health and Safety Training session once in a calendar year. The training program offered by the Employer must be approved by the joint Health and Safety Committee prior to such training commencing. Training will be provided during normal work hours and employees shall suffer no loss of pay or benefits.

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY Contractor shall perform any and all of its obligations under this Contract in a manner that does not compromise the health and safety of any DSHS client with whom the Contractor has contact.

  • Health and Safety Requirements The Contractor and his subcontractors ensure at all times compliance with safety regulations imposed by any Act of Parliament, ordinance or any regulation or by¬law of any local or statutory authority. Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act of 1993-Section 37) The Contractor shall comply with:  The Occupational Health and Safety Xxx, 0000, and all Regulations made there under;  All Eskom Safety and Operating Procedures listed in this Works Information. The Contractor acknowledges that it is fully aware of the requirements of all the above and undertakes to employ only people who have been duly authorised in terms thereof and who have received sufficient training to ensure that they can comply therewith. The Contractor undertakes not to do, or not to allow anything to be done which will contravene any of the provisions of the Act, Regulations or Safety and Operating Procedures. The Contractor shall appoint a person who will liaise with the Eskom Safety Officer responsible for the premises relevant to this contract. The person so appointed shall, on request:  Supply the Eskom Safety Officer with copies of minutes of all Health and Safety Committee meetings, whenever he is required to do so;  Supply the Eskom Safety Officer with copies of all appointments in respect of employees employed on this contract, in terms of the Act and Regulations and shall advise the Eskom Safety Officer of any changes thereto. Eskom may, at any stage during the currency of this agreement, be entitled to:  Do safety audits at the Contractor’s premises, its work-places and on its employees;  Refuse any employee, sub-contractor or agent of the Contractor access to its premises if such person has been found to commit any unlawful act or any unsafe working practice or is found to be not authorised or qualified in terms of the Act;

  • ARTICLE HEALTH AND SAFETY The Region shall endeavour to observe all reasonable precautions and provide necessary safety devices, clothing or equipment that may be required for the protection of its employees. The employees will co- operate by observing safety practices. Joint Health and Safety Committee Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, there is to be Joint Health and Safety Committee to monitor health and safety in the Workplace and provide recommendationsto the Region in the interest of a safe and health work environment. The parties acknowledge that a Joint Health and Safety Committee can only be successful where everyone on the committee is committed to health and safety in the workplace. The parties agree to undertake to ensure the members of the committee operate in accordance with the full intent of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Region agrees to provide, upon request of the committee, information as prescribed in the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Employees shall be required to report all on-the-job accidents or illnesses, whether they result in lost time or health care or not. An employee receiving Workers' Compensation payments shall accumulate seniority and be entitled to all benefits of this Agreement. Provided the employee is utilizing accumulated sick leave to top up Workers' Compensation payments and the cheque is being sent to the Employer, the Employer continues to pay its share of all employee benefit plans. The Employer agrees that an employee who is injured whilst at work, shall, upon return to work, be reinstated to the position, shift, and rate held at the time of the injury provided the employee is capable and qualified to perform the former employment. The Employer will attempt to apply the modified duties plan subject to the abilities of the injured employee and the work available. to Refuse Unsafe Where permitted by the Occupational Health and Safety Act an employee may exercise his or her right to refuse unsafe work. Where an employee chooses to exercise his or her right to refuse unsafe work, the employee shall immediately report this refusal to his or her supervisor who shall immediately initiate an investigation in conjunction with a worker member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee or, where such a member is not available, a person designated by the Union. The investigation shall be conducted as per the requirement of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The company agrees that no employee shall be discharged, penalized, coerced, intimidated, threatened or disciplined for exercising his or her right to refuse unsafe work or where he or she has worked in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act or the Regulations. The Region agrees that, for the duration of this agreement, to apply Part V Right to Refuse or to Stop Work Where Health or Safety in Danger of the Occupational Health and Safety Act that is in force at the time of this agreement.

  • Health and Safety Grievances A. It is the policy of the State employer to enforce safety and health, policies, procedures, and work practices and protect employees from harm in connection with State operations.

  • Health and Safety Provisions The Employer shall continue to make and enforce provisions for the occupational health, safety, and security of employees. The Employer will respond to suggestions on the subject from the Union and the parties undertake to consult with a view to adopting and expeditiously carrying out reasonable procedures and techniques designed or intended to prevent or reduce the risk of employment injury and employment-related chronic illness.

  • Work Health and Safety (a) The employer and employee acknowledge their responsibilities under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012.

  • Environmental Health and Safety i. Environment, Health and Safety Performance. Seller acknowledges and accepts full and sole responsibility to maintain an environment, health and safety management system ("EMS") appropriate for its business throughout the performance of this Contract. Buyer expects that Seller’s EMS shall promote health and safety, environmental stewardship, and pollution prevention by appropriate source reduction strategies. Seller shall convey the requirement of this clause to its suppliers. Seller shall not deliver goods that contain asbestos mineral fibers.
