Normal Work Day Week. For all Regular full-time employees in the City operation, unless otherwise provided, the normal work day and week will consist of: i Dock the regular work day for regular full-time employees shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours of work not including the meal period. All employees hired after the date of ratification will be paid at the regular rate of pay. No regular employee hired prior to ratification will be compelled to work this shift. Normal Work Day Week. (a) “Inside” Employees The normal work day shall consist of a scheduled period of seven (7) hours of work between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No seven (7) hour day for “inside” employees shall be spread over a period longer than eight (8) hours, including not more than one (1) hour off for lunch.
