Personnel Rates. 12.1 For the purposes of this Accounting Procedure “Personnel Rates” shall comprise the following: 12.1.1 salary and related benefits of personnel under paragraphs 11.4, 11.5 and 11.6 above including: (a) gross salary plus related allowances and benefits payable generally by the Operator or any of its Affiliates or a Participant from whom personnel are seconded or who provide services to the Joint Account as part of its standard terms of employment in force in the relevant period; (b) pension costs (assessed as a percentage of salary cost for all the Operator's or its Affiliates' employees from time to time); (c) National Insurance cost; (d) any governmental tax, duty, levy and/or impost that may be levied upon the Operator or any of its Affiliates or a Participant from whom personnel are seconded or who provide services to the Joint Account in respect of such personnel; and (e) in the case of personnel hired from third party agencies, the cost invoiced by the third party agency. 12.1.2 employment cost of persons under paragraph 11.5 above The cost of the person as invoiced by the other Participant consistent with 12.1.1 above, or the invoice from the third party agency. 12.1.3 Administrative overhead costs Administrative overhead costs, which shall exclude any costs and expenses of a corporate nature, comprise the items detailed below which are incurred by the Operator or any of its Affiliates or a Participant from whose offices the Operator has requested the services in paragraph 11.6. These shall be allocated in accordance with the Operator's or its Affiliates' or the Participant’s standard accounting policies and practices in force from time to time which will be advised to the Participants and the Operator as appropriate: (a) Salary and related benefits (as described in paragraph 12.1.1) of the personnel referred to in paragraph 11.3 who are employed on Joint Operations or who support Joint Operations. Such personnel may be employed by, seconded to or hired from any third party agency by the Operator or any of its Affiliates. (b) Overhead costs incurred in supporting Joint Operations such as property costs, personnel department costs, office services, routine computer applications and costs of other support departments and like items. (c) All other costs of the Operator and any of its Affiliates in respect of personnel supporting Joint Operations which are not specifically provided as chargeable to the Joint Account elsewhere in this Section II other ...
Personnel Rates. During the Term of this Work Assignment, CSC agrees to provide and Customer agrees to purchase a minimum of 80 person-months per year of CSC consulting services at a rate of $22,500 per person-month ("Committed Purchase"). CSC shall invoice Customer for such person-months, as they are used, in one person-month increments. Any unused portion of the Committed Purchase remaining at the end of each year of the Term set out below shall be invoiced on March 31 of the following year. A person-month is defined as the full-time services of one CSC employee for a full month, less interruptions for sick leave and holiday leave and for CSC's normal scheduled holidays. The additional 50 person-months that Customer may purchase by exercising its option set out above shall be charged at a rate of $22,500 per person-month. Any additional work for the remainder of the term will be CSC's then current Standard Time and Material rates at a 20% discount.
Personnel Rates. (a) Rates. Vendor’s Personnel Rates for performing Project Work and providing Supplemental Resources shall be as set forth in Schedule D attached hereto. (b) Volume Discounts. Discounts to the Personnel Rates based on higher levels of overall usage of Vendor Personnel are set forth in Schedule D. Such discounts shall apply based on the overall usage of Vendor Personnel as measured in terms of the aggregate total dollar amount of Vendor’s labor charges under this Agreement on a rolling twelve (12) month basis. Such volume discounts will be applied against the Personnel Rates prior to the application of any commitment discount and will begin to apply during the first twelve (12) months following the Effective Date once the initial threshold is met. Such volume discounts will be calculated on a monthly basis and apply prospectively based on when the Services are performed (rather than when Estimates are given or Services are invoiced). (c) Fully Loaded Rates. The Personnel Rates set forth in Schedule D are fully loaded rates that include: all equipment, software, computer time, supplies and office space required or used by Vendor Personnel in performing the Services to the extent such Services are performed at a Vendor facility pursuant to Section 7.6(b) above; the travel, lodging and meal expenses of Vendor Personnel (except to the extent provided in Section 9.2 below); and related overhead costs and administrative expenses.
Personnel RatesUnless otherwise stated the personnel rates contained in this Section III shall be deemed to be fully inclusive of, but not be limited to, the following: (a) CONTRACTOR’S liability as employer, including all employment taxes, social security contributions, or other levies imposed by governmental authorities. (b) Salaries, bonus payments, pensions, holiday contributions, severance payments, medical expenses, sick pay and other employee benefits arising from the employment of personnel.   • Overhead Rates The Engineer shall use the provisional overhead rate indicated in Attachment E. If a periodic escalation of the provisional overhead rate is specified in Attachment E, the effective date of the revised provisional overhead rate must be included. For lump sum contracts, the overhead rate remains unchanged for the entire contract period.

  • PERSONNEL REDUCTION Section 1 In the event of layoffs in connection with decreasing the work force, and the recall to work of people so laid off, the following consideration shall govern. Skill and ability as determined by reference to the employee's work record, and length of service shall be the determining factors; however, employees shall be laid off by category of seniority. There shall be three (3) seniority categories: probationary, 1 yearto 5 years seniority, and over 5 years seniority. In case of layoff, all employees in the lowest seniority category shall be laid off before proceeding to layoff of anyone in a more senior category. Where skill and ability within a category are approximately equal, length of service shall govern. Employees having the same seniority within a category shall draw lots to determine the order of layoff. No new employees shall be hired until all laid off employees have been given the opportunity to be re-hired. Employees who have been laid off will be offered re-employment in the inverse order of layoffs when they are needed again, provided they are physically qualified and possess sufficient training and experience to perform the duties of the available work. The City shall give laid off employees ten (10) days notice of its intention to rehire. The employees shall within ten (10) days period notify the City of their intention to, or not to, return to the employ of the City, and shall report to work no later than fifteen (15) days from receipt of said notice to rehire. If an employee fails to notify the City within the ten (10) calendar day period of his/her intentions to return to work, or fails to report to work within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of notice, he/she shall be considered permanently severed from the employ of the City. At the time of a layoff the City shall provide all laid off employees with a complete physical examination. At the time of rehire, the City may require a physical examination prior to the employee's return to duty, and it is expressly understood that any employee found physically unfit to return to duty may be refused re-employment and removed from the employment list. The City shall not be obligated to rehire laid off employees who have been laid off for five (5) or more consecutive calendar years, beginning from the date of layoff. Section 2 Employees laid off under provisions of this ARTICLE, who at the time of layoff had existing and established work-connected injuries, may not be denied re-employment during the five (5) year call-back period because of these work-connected injuries as existing and established prior to the layoff. Section 3 Nothing in this ARTICLE shall limit the ability of the City to provide for a compliment of officers and departmental personnel deemed in the judgment of the Chief necessary for the proper administration of the affairs of the Department and as provided for within the Departmental budget.   • Personnel Policies The School shall adopt, update, and adhere to personnel policies. These policies must be made readily accessible from the School’s website or school office, as described in Section 11.4. 1. If the policy is not available from the School’s website, the School shall submit the current policy to the Commission.

  • Personnel Data The School shall maintain accurate and complete personnel and payroll information and shall provide such information to the Commission, in the format and timeframe prescribed by the Commission, as required for the Legislature or any State agency including but not limited to the Department of Budget & Finance, Employees' Retirement System, and the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund. The School shall ensure each employee receiving State benefits qualifies for such benefits.

  • Personnel Practices Section 1. The parties agree to establish a Labor-Management Committee to consult on personnel practices. The Committee will consist of five (5) representatives selected by the County and five (5) representatives by the SEIU Local 721. The Chief Executive Officer will designate a representative from CEO/Employee Relations and Department of Human Resources who have authority to resolve issues. The Committee will meet quarterly and consult on County-wide personnel practices including, but not limited to, performance evaluations, appraisals of promotability, grievance, arbitration, appeal processes, and resolution and payment of awards. Section 2. Dignity and Professionalism in the Workplace 1. The Union and Management are committed to working together to ensure a healthy and professional work environment free from emotional and psychological abuse and intimidation and to promote dignity for all workforce members. 2. The Union and Management agree to work together to develop a training program open to managers and SEIU Local 721 represented employees through the Workforce Development Program, the Million Dollar Training Fund and/or other sources of funding designated to promote dignity, prevent and reduce intimidation and other forms of emotional and psychological abuse in the workplace and create awareness of its negative impact. 3. Labor and Management are committed to working together to address complaints of intimidation and other forms of emotional and psychological abuse in the workplace in a timely manner. 4. The County Department of Human Resources is committed to working with the Union to develop policy to promote dignity and respect at the workplace and to prevent intimidation and other forms of emotional and psychological abuse in the workplace. Section 3. Communication through County E-mail Recognizing that e-mail is a standard medium of business communication, the County will meet with representatives of the Union to consider the feasibility of communication with bargaining unit members through their County e-mail addresses. This workgroup will complete its work within 60 days of the Board of Supervisors’ approval of the MOU. The workgroup will present recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for any policy changes. Section 4. Education Based Discipline Education-Based Discipline (EBD) is offered when an employee must serve a suspension from duty as a result of some type of policy violation, but rather than serving the suspension days at home with a loss of pay, some or all of those days can be substituted for a relevant training class or classes. Participation in the program is voluntary for the employee. The Personnel Practices Committee defined in Section 1 will meet to discuss expansion of EBD to all departments in the County.

  • Hourly Rates The following is a list of hourly billable rates that Contractor shall apply for additional services requested of the Contractor. Contractor shall be compensated based on the hourly rates set forth below, on a time and material basis for those services that are within the general scope of services of this Agreement, but beyond the description of services required under Exhibit A, and all services are reasonably necessary to complete the standards of performance required by this Agreement.
