Such a request shall be made within ten (10) days of receipt of the notification that the employee was an unsuccessful applicant. 14:07 Where the employee is promoted to another position, the employee shall be paid at a rate of pay set out for that position in the wage schedule contained in Appendix “A” that is, if possible, one full increment more than the rate of pay the employee was being paid in the former position. 14:08 Where an employee is moved from one position to another or within the Fund, the Manager will endeavour to move the employee to the new position within thirty (30) days of the employee’s appointment or within one (1) week of obtaining a replacement for the employee, whichever is earlier. 14:09 Bulletins for vacant or new positions within the Fund shall be posted in an area readily accessible to all staff at any time of the day or night. The Fund will endeavour to provide the Union with a copy of all bulletins issued. 14:10 Where, as a result of a reorganization of department or part of a department an employee’s work headquarters is moved from one (1) city or town to another city or town requiring a change of residence by the employee, the employee shall be given notice of the move three (3) months in advance of the date upon which the move of the employee is to be effected. Such notice shall be provided in writing to the employee by the Fund authority.

Upon written request from the employee within ten (10) working days of the date of the receipt of the written reply, the Corporation agrees to discuss the reason(s) why he was not the successful candidate and at the employee’s option, he shall have the right to have a representative present at such time. 8:06 Where an employee is promoted to a higher classification, he shall be paid at a rate of pay set out in the pay range for the classification that is at least one full increment more than the rate of pay he was being paid in his former classification, but in no case shall the new rate exceed the maximum rate of pay for the new classification.
