Plant-Wide. In this option, the affected employee must exercise their seniority against the employee with the lowest seniority in any classification, in any department available to them through the provisions of Section 9.01. Any employee displaced by an affected employee will be provided the same two (2) options to displace lowest seniority employees working in classifications available to the employee through the provisions of Section 9.01. An employee who does not possess sufficient seniority to displace some other employee in any classification available to them through the provisions of Section 9.01 will be laid off from the plant.
Plant-Wide. The vacancy or position will be posted throughout the bargaining unit for a period of five working days, and a copy of the posting shall be given to the Union Secretary and the Xxxxxxx of the department where the vacancy or open position exists. The names of the applicants will be supplied to the Secretary and the Xxxxxxx following the posting.
