RECOGNITION AND UNIT OF REPRESENTATION. RECOGNITION AND UNIT OF REPRESENTATION. 1. The CITY hereby recognizes the ASSOCIATION as the exclusive collective bargaining representative of all regular employees of the CITY of Kenosha Police Department employed in the following classifications: Detective Traffic Officer Court Officer Police Canine Specialist Police Officer on questions of wages, hours, and conditions of employment. The CITY reserves the right to grant additional wages and fringe benefits to any particular classification over and above the amount agreed upon between the CITY and the ASSOCIATION as set forth in the contract.
2. The ASSOCIATION, as the exclusive representative of all the employees in the bargaining unit, will represent all such employees, ASSOCIATION and NON-ASSOCIATION, fairly and equally; and all employees in the unit will be required to pay, as provided in this article, their proportionate share of the costs of representation by the ASSOCIATION. No employee shall be required to join the ASSOCIATION, but membership in the ASSOCIATION shall be made available to all employees who apply consistent with the ASSOCIATION constitution and by-laws. No employee shall be denied
3. The Employer agrees that it will deduct from the monthly earnings of all employees in the collective bargaining unit the amount of one percent (1%) of top Police Officer pay a month (4-2 schedule), such amount being the monthly dues certified by the ASSOCIATION as the current dues uniformly required of all members, and pay said amount to the Treasurer of the ASSOCIATION on or before the end of the month following the month in which such deduction was made.
4. Changes in the amount of dues to be deducted shall be certified by the ASSOCIATION sixty (60) days before the effective date of the change.
5. As to new employees, such deductions shall be made from the first paycheck following the first sixty (60) days of employment.
6. The Employer will provide the ASSOCIATION with a list of employees from whom such deductions are made with each monthly remittance to the ASSOCIATION.
RECOGNITION AND UNIT OF REPRESENTATION. 17 The County hereby recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent 18 with respect to hours, wages and other conditions of employment for all regular full-time and regular 19 part-time Maintenance, Custodial, Clerical and Stenographic employees employed by Winnebago 20 County in its Courthouse or Courthouse Annexes and associated departments, including the Courts, 21 Child Support Office, County Clerk's Office, County Treasurer's Office, Information Systems 00 Xxxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx'x Office, Finance Department, Maintenance Department, Planning 23 and Zoning Department, Register of Deeds Office, Switchboard, Veterans Service Office, Sheriff's 24 Department, Agriculture Department, Highway Department and at the Airport and Parks 25 Departments, but excluding therefrom, supervisory, confidential, managerial and executive 27 Department of Human Services. 28 This recognition clause shall be construed to apply to employees and not to work. It shall not 29 limit the County's right to contract out work or to transfer work to other employees not included within 30 the aforementioned unit when the nature or amount of work changes.

Description: All regular full-time and regular part-time professional employees in the employ of the City of Madison Public Library, but excluding supervisory, managerial, executive, craft and confidential employees, and all other employees of the City of Madison, pursuant to the provisions of Section 111.70 of the Municipal Employment Relations Act for the purposes of collective bargaining with the above named municipal employer, or its lawfully authorized representatives, on questions of wages, hours and conditions of employment as certified by the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission (WERC) under date of October 20, 1982, Decision No. 19906.
RECOGNITION AND UNIT OF REPRESENTATION. Description: The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for all regular full-time, regular part-time and limited term, non-professional employees of the City of Madison employed at the Madison Public Library, excluding managerial, supervisory, confidential and professional employees and employees represented by Local 236, pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 111.70 of the Municipal Employment Relations Act for the purposes of collective bargaining with the above named municipal Employer, or its lawfully authorized representatives, on questions of wages, hours and conditions of employment as certified by the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission under date of September 28, 1981, Decision No. 18918.
RECOGNITION AND UNIT OF REPRESENTATION. The Board of Education of District No. 131, Winnebago County, Illinois, hereinafter referred to as the “Board” hereby recognizes the Kinnikinnick Education Association affiliated with the Illinois Education Association/National Education Association, hereinafter referred to as the “Association” as the sole, exclusive negotiating agent for all full-time and regular part-time licensed professional personnel employed by the Board, and required to be licensed under Article 21 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, but excluding the Superintendent, building principals, and other supervisory personnel having the authority to hire, transfer, assign, promote, evaluate, discharge or discipline, or to effectively recommend such action. The term “regular part-time licensed professional personnel” shall mean individuals employed on an annual basis and working 50 percent or more of the school term and 3.5 clock hours or more of the school day and work less than full-time. The term “Teacher” when used hereinafter this Agreement shall refer to all licensed professional personnel included in the negotiating unit set forth above and thereby represented by the Association.
