Settling of Grievance. An xxxxxxx effort shall be made to settle Grievances, as defined herein, fairly and promptly in accordance with the following procedure: Before a formal complaint is reduced to a written Grievance, the employee, accompanied by a Union Xxxxxxx, shall first discuss it with their immediate Supervisor or designate. Failing settlement of the matter, the following grievance procedure shall apply.
Settling of Grievance. Where an employee alleges that he has a grievance as outlined under 7.06 above and where the employee has the written consent of the Union or its delegates, the following procedure shall apply.
Settling of Grievance. It is the mutual desire of the parties hereto that complaints of employees shall be adjusted as quickly as possible. No employee shall file a grievance until she has first given her immediate supervisor the opportunity of adjusting her complaint. A form indicating the complaint will be filled out including the date, and signed by both parties. Copies will be forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Xxxxxxx.
Settling of Grievance. An xxxxxxx effort shall be made to settle grievances fairly and promptly in the following manner: Step #1 The Employee(s) shall first discuss any complaint with the direct Supervisor before filing a written grievance. The complaint shall be brought within twenty-one (21) calendar days of the incident giving rise to the complaint or when the incident giving rise to the complaint would reasonably have been known to the Employee. Step #2 If the matter cannot be resolved at Step #1, then the Employee(s) shall file a written grievance outlining the nature of the dispute and the relevant Articles of the Agreement that have been allegedly violated, with the direct Supervisor or designate within seven (7) working days of the response to the complaint at Step #1. The Supervisor shall reply in writing to the Employee(s) and the Union representative that attended the grievance meeting giving the answer to the grievance within seven (7) working days from the date of submission of the grievance. Step #3 Should the Employee(s) feel that the grievance has not been settled satisfactorily, then the Employee(s) and Xxxxxxx shall, within seven (7) working days of the date on which the answer was provided at Step 2, present the written grievance to the General Manager or designate who shall meet and discuss the matter with the Employee and Xxxxxxx and give his or her answer in writing no later than seven (7) working days after the written presentation has been given to him or her. Step #4 Failing settlement of the grievance at Step 3 either party may refer the matter to arbitration no later than fifteen (15) working days after the written decision at Step 3 has been provided and in accordance with Article 8. If no written request for arbitration is received within the fifteen (15) working days, the matter shall be deemed to have been settled.

Settling of Grievance. The parties to this Agreement share a desire to adjust employee complaints as quickly as possible.
Settling of Grievance. Step 1 - Department Level The employee or employees shall, by stating their case in writing, within SEVEN (7) working days after the incident which gave rise to the grievance, with a Union representative in attendance, present the grievance to their immediate supervisor. Department representative(s) shall meet the representative to seek settlement. The department shall have FIVE (5) working days to investigate the matter and respond.
