Sick Leave Credit Plan. 11.01 (a) Members, who had vested rights as of October 1, 1979 according to the provisions of the collective agreement which expired on December 31, 1978, shall have the number of days to their credit determined by the terms of the Agreement which expired on December 31, 1978. There shall be no further accumulation of sick leave credits from that previous plan.
Sick Leave Credit Plan. 23.01 (a) (i) All teachers shall be entitled to sick leave credits in accordance with the terms of this Article.
Sick Leave Credit Plan. A Teacher who was under contract as a Teacher with the Lennox and Xxxxxxxxx County Board of Education as of May 5, 1997, and who has not less than ten years of full-time service with the Limestone District School Board or its predecessor boards, shall receive an amount calculated in the manner outlined below upon termination of employment with the Board: Sick Leave Gratuity = Cumulative Sick Leave X ½ Salary of Current 200 School Year To a maximum gratuity of ½ year’s salary.
Sick Leave Credit Plan. The Board undertakes a cumulative Sick Leave Plan subject to the final authority of the Board, the administration being vested in the Director of Education.
a) The annual number of credit days under the plan shall be 20 days per school year to a maximum of 300. Credits shall be accumulated for part-time Teachers on a pro-rata basis.
b) Where a Teacher of another board becomes a Teacher of this Board, the Teacher shall be entitled to have sick leave accumulated under the provisions of the board in which the Teacher was previously employed transferred to the sick leave account in this Board up to the limit established in 25.09 a).
c) 1) At the beginning of each school year each Teacher in the Board's employ on a permanent or probationary contract of 10 months shall receive 20 sick leave credits.
Sick Leave Credit Plan. The sick leave credit plan shall be in accordance with appendix of this agreement, being By-law and present amendments thereto.

Sick Leave Credit Plan. Sick Leave Credit Retirement Gratuities were frozen as of August 31, 2012. An employee is not eligible to receive a sick leave credit gratuity or any non‐sick leave credit retirement gratuity (such as, but not limited to, service gratuities or RRSP contributions) after August 31, 2012, except a sick leave credit gratuity that the employee had accumulated and was eligible to receive as of that day. The following language applies only to those employees eligible for the gratuity above: The parties agree to grandparent the Sick Leave Credit Retirement Gratuity Plans for employees hired on the date of or prior to May 1, 1999 as they apply in the respective predecessor Boards’ Collective Agreements. Notwithstanding the above, the gratuity plan of the former Perth County Board of Education is deemed to apply to both full and part-time employees. For employees hired after May 1, 1999, the Sick Leave Gratuity Plan from the former Perth County Board (Policy 3:11) shall apply to both full and part-time employees. (See Appendix A re: Perth County Plan as per Board policy 3:11 amended as agreed to by the parties and Appendix B re: Huron County Plan from SEIU Local 210 Agreement).
Sick Leave Credit Plan. 31.02.01 The Parties agree to grandparent the current Sick Leave Credit Retirement Gratuity Plans for Permanent Members hired on the date of or prior to the ratification of this Agreement as they apply in the respective predecessor Boards’ Collective Agreements. These Plans shall be attached to this Agreement.
31.02.02 It is further agreed that the gratuity plan for the former Perth County Board of Education is deemed to apply to all current full- and part-time Members from the Perth County predecessor Board retiring between the ages of 55 and 65 who qualify for any Retirement Plan under OMERS or TPP and shall be eligible for the Sick Leave Credit Retirement Gratuity Plan provided the conditions set out in 2 (b) of the Plan have been met.
31.02.03 Notwithstanding 31.02.01, the Parties agree that the cash settlement will be based on the annual salary rate of the Member for the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the Member’s last working day exclusive of overtime and vacation pay and ratio sick leave accumulation to the total possible sick leave accumulation.
31.02.04 Permanent Members hired after the date of ratification of this Agreement shall be entitled to the Gratuity Plan of the former Perth County Board of Education.
Sick Leave Credit Plan. Notwithstanding any other provision herein contained, no teacher may use any of their current sick leave credits for any purpose other than sickness of themselves or their immediate family.
