Site Consultative Committee. Recommended makeup of the site committee is nominated relevant employee representatives and management representatives from the site. Chairman is the Operations Manager. The role of the Committee is to consult on matters associated with its particular site’s operations, which may include, but not limited to: • Productivity • Matters arising from this Agreement or Employer policy The Committee will meet on a regular basis as determined and agreed to by its representatives.
Site Consultative Committee. (SCC)
6.6.1 The Site Consultative Committee will be made up of representatives from AMIEU delegates and employee representatives from the floor to a maximum number of 6 representatives. The SCC will meet with site management, once every Quarter or more frequently as required, with a maximum of 6 meetings per calendar year, to discuss matters which are affecting site.
6.6.2 These meetings are to take place at a time, date and location mutually convenient to all parties represented, with regard to varying shifts, start times and production requirements. No delegate shall be unfairly prejudiced or financially disadvantaged by either having to attend site early or remain late to attend every meeting.
6.6.3 The Committee should aim to agree at the commencement of the Agreement on a schedule of meetings for the following 12 months.
6.6.4 The purpose of the consultative committee meetings will be to consult about:
(i) The operation of this Agreement, including any discussions about clauses which require clarification; and
(ii) The development of a training program consistent with: • Addressing and identifying the current and future skill needs of the enterprise • Formulating a training matrix • Formulating a training program • Participation in training • Monitoring and providing feedback regarding the ongoing effectiveness of the training;
(iii) Proposed changes to policies/procedures and workplace practices in the workplace more generally.
(iv) Review agreed changes after consultation with members regarding overtime guidelines.
(v) Review of casuals and casual conversion
(vi) Issues related to the distribution of overtime
(vii) Classification of new job roles
6.6.5 Employees with particular experience relevant to a particular issue or set of issues may be invited to attend meetings.
Site Consultative Committee. (a) Purpose and scope.
(i) The Site Consultative Committee (SCC) is to be the consultative forum and a communication channel for all site related issues considered relevant by the employees and management. Each site with employees covered by the Agreement can determine if SCC is necessary for effective consultation. These sites include:
a. XxxXxxx Xxxxxx
b. SunRice Deniliquin
c. CopRice Leeton
d. CopRice Tongala
e. CopRice Cobden
f. AGS Deniliquin.
(ii) Sites with 20 or fewer employees can use ‘toolbox’ or daily meetings to consult.
(iii) The scope of the SCCs shall include but not be limited to:
a. Implementation of the Agreement at the site;
b. Discussing and monitoring proposed measures for improving productivity and performance at the site;
c. Discussing and monitoring proposed changes at the site level, including changes to production, organisation, structures or technology;
d. Discussing and monitoring implementation of site policies and procedures.
Site Consultative Committee. (a) Where requested by Employees or the Union, Strait Link will set up a consultative committee. The Consultative Committee will be made up of Union Delegates, relevant Union Officials and local management.
(b) The consultative committee will meet as regularly as agreed.
(c) The purpose of the consultative committee will be to discuss matters such as:
(i) Lifting performance at the branch;
(ii) The operation of this Agreement;
(iii) Operating, cultural and efficiency standards within the branch; and
(iv) Proactively dealing with any work-related issues as they arise.
Site Consultative Committee. 8.2.1 A consultative committee will be established with equal representation by employees, the union, and management. The consultative committee shall meet regularly to discuss matters relevant to this Agreement and to assist in improving communication between management and the employees. Details of the committee and its role are set out below:
(a) The site consultative committee will provide the opportunity for employees to utilise their knowledge and experience and to express their views to assist site management decision making.
(b) The committee will develop its own charter in relation to the conduct of meetings, preparation of agendas, distribution of minutes, timing of meetings, communication and feedback from employees, and any other issues which might require recommendations.
(c) Employee representatives are to be nominated and elected by the majority of the employees they are to represent. An election of employee representatives should be held each 12 months.
(d) Employee representatives elected to form part of the Site Consultative Committee will meet for a maximum of (1) hour prior to each meeting to discuss relevant workplace matters and seek feedback by employees to contribute to scheduled meetings to achieve positive outcomes
(e) Matters that the committee may participate in include the development of more flexible and effective work practices and procedures, to monitor and review site performance against targets and plans and any other minor workplace issues raised from time to time.
(f) The site consultative committee may be used as a forum for site management to express current and future plans for changes to the work environment and to seek input from employees. This does not replace the provisions of clause 5.1 of this Agreement.
Site Consultative Committee. A site consultative committee comprising representatives from employees and management shall be formed and shall meet on a regular basis. The objectives of this committee will be the enhancement of operations in line with business requirements and welfare of all employees. Key issues would include, but not be limited to identification of inefficient work practices; improvement in quality of service; reduction in staff turnover; roster systems; work organisation; training requirements and improvements in communication. It is agreed this committee is not an industrial relations body and while it will need to address issues relevant to IR, it will not be used to bypass the Union’s involvement in issues as per the Disputes Procedure.
Site Consultative Committee. In order to promote effective communication and harmonious relations between the Company, its Employees and the Union, a Site Consultative Committee will be established at the Mill.
Site Consultative Committee. It is intended that the Consultative Committee will be an effective forum in which employee representatives covering all employees can discuss with representatives of the Company, those matters which affect them. In so doing it is recognised that all concerned have a mutual interest in ensuring the prosperity of the Company and thus promoting the prosperity of all employees. It is intended that the Committee may discuss the following items and their effect on the Mill, but it should be noted that the list is in no way meant to be exhaustive: • Investment Policy and Business Plans; • Operating performance, financial position and market information; • Quality; and • Productivity and Efficiency Indicators
Site Consultative Committee. Maintenance will be represented at the respective Site Consultative Committees to ensure the success of this Agreement. The Consultative Committees will have employee representatives (elected by the employees) and management representatives from across the relevant operations to ensure that overall knowledge of the business is present and employee issues are understood. The role of the Committee is to: o Facilitate ongoing communication between the parties; o Consider and evaluate a range of issues and information between the employer and the employees; o Co-operate and examine a proper implementation of workplace change through planning and consultation; o Enhance and increase the efficiency, productivity and competitiveness of Fonterra and to enhance the career opportunities of employees; o Provide feedback to employees by posting the minutes of each meeting and other relevant information on local notice boards.
Site Consultative Committee. The Consultative Committee will consist of the Site Delegate, Department Delegates, Human Resources and as required Management Representatives. It will meet quarterly or as required with the responsibility to communicate and discuss site wide issues.
