Technology Compensation. The technology compensation is for implementation of District determined technology systems, curriculum, facilities, initiatives and projects related to integrating all aspects of technology into classroom workflow and instruction and consistent with RCW/WAC. The technology compensation is funded entirely from local tax dollars through a Technology Levy. If this levy is discontinued or fails to gain voter approval, these items will not be offered in subsequent years of this agreement.

Employees of the Snoqualmie Valley School District are skilled professionals and trusted to fulfill the professional practices related to integrating technology. This compensation is divided into two parts. Part A – Required Time (timesheet): To be fully compensated, each employee must attend 14 hours (and submit pink timesheet) of District approved professional development prior to May 31. • Attend 14 hours (paid at the Professional Rate) of District sponsored/approved training experiences, held in August in each year or other training experience designated on the school calendar (see 8.3 and 8.4 of the Xxxxxxx Instructional Framework) • Staff may also apply for approval, from the Teaching and Learning Department for alternate methods of meeting this requirement, such as individual or small group self-directed time, or other out-of-district training, etc. Part B - Professional practices to integrate technology (Stipend): These practices include maintaining a web presence as described later in this document, and activities that may include, but are not limited to: • Integrate appropriate technology into classroom instruction (see 4.2 in Xxxxxxx Instructional Framework. • Access and use data to improve instruction (see 6.1 and 6.2 in Xxxxxxx Instructional Framework). • Respond to emails in a timely matter (see 7.1 in Xxxxxxx Instructional Framework). • Update online grades according to established school expectations (see 7.2 in Xxxxxxx Instructional Framework). • Develop and contribute technology related curriculum resources (scales, units, projects, assessments, etc….) to a designated curriculum repository. • Participate in training on district provided or adopted equipment, software, web- based assessments and online curriculum resources. In addition, each employee will maintain a regularly updated web presence for their classroom or program, on a District/Association approved platform*. The web presence may include, but is not limited to: • Elementary: o Contact information o A list of homework and/or projects with due dates as applicable o Classroom and/or Program Expectations o Schedule of upcoming events o Links to applicable online resources, text books, etc.… • Secondary: o Contact information o A ...

Requirements to receive stipend include selection and completion of a "Technology Pathway" and completion of an online self-assessment (survey) of technology integration. Submit pathway verification forms by May 15th to Executive Director of Instructional Technology for payment in June. o 2011-12 Technology Pathways: • Coursework & Individual Support (formerly Documented Accomplishments) • Professional Growth and Reflection • Collaboration • Technology Integration Trainer/Leader (TILT) 2011-2012 Training Component Fourteen (14) hours for technology training, webinars, work sessions, classes and workshops offered throughout the school year. This time will be paid at the professional rate (Section 24.2). The District and the Association will establish a committee to work with the Executive Director of Technology during the 2011-12 school year on possible modifications to technology training offerings, technology pathways, and expectations based upon employee feedback. 2012-2013 Pathway Stipend $1,400 The technology stipend is for implementation of District determined technology systems, facilities, initiatives and projects. The Association and District agree that it is in our mutual best interest to have all teachers participate in this professional development opportunity. Accordingly, it is an expectation that teachers will participate unless exceptional circumstances exist, in which case that individual may request, in writing to their supervisor, to be excused. If the immediate supervisor approves the request, it will be forwarded to the Superintendent or designee for final approval. If denied, the employee may meet with designated technology staff to determine an alternate plan. Requirements to receive stipend include: 1) a hire date prior to January 30 of the current school year; 2) selection and completion of a "Technology Pathway"; and 3) completion of an online verification. Submit pathway verification forms by May 15th to Executive Director of Instructional Technology for payment in June. The technology stipend for certificated 1.0 FTE employees will be $1450 for 2013-14, increasing to $1500 for 2014-15 and $1550 for 2015-16. This stipend and the corresponding requirement for training hours will be pro-rated by annualized FTE as follows:

  • Services and Compensation Consultant agrees to perform for the Company the services described in Exhibit A (the “Services”), and the Company agrees to pay Consultant the compensation described in Exhibit A for Consultant’s performance of the Services.

  • Basic Compensation An employee, at the employee's option, may report to court when subpoenaed or remain on call. If the employee elects to appear in court, the division supervisor must be notified, at the latest, one administrative day prior to the scheduled court appearance. If the employee wishes to remain on call, the employee must be able to appear in court not more than one hour after being notified that the employee's appearance is required in court. To appear in court more than an hour after having been notified will void the employee's right to on-call compensation. An employee need not remain at home, but must be available for telephonic notification at a location where the supervisor knows the employee can be reached.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • Executive Compensation Until such time as the Investor ceases to own any debt or equity securities of the Company acquired pursuant to this Agreement or the Warrant, the Company shall take all necessary action to ensure that its Benefit Plans with respect to its Senior Executive Officers comply in all respects with Section 111(b) of the EESA as implemented by any guidance or regulation thereunder that has been issued and is in effect as of the Closing Date, and shall not adopt any new Benefit Plan with respect to its Senior Executive Officers that does not comply therewith. “Senior Executive Officers” means the Company's "senior executive officers" as defined in subsection 111(b)(3) of the EESA and regulations issued thereunder, including the rules set forth in 31 C.F.R. Part 30.
