Cafeteria Supervision. 1. If Members of the Bargaining Unit are required for supervision of the student cafeteria, they shall be compensated at the rate of one-half of the internal substitute pay rate per each lunch period supervised. 2. The District will seek to use educational support staff or temporary supervisors in the cafeteria but will allow Members of the Bargaining Unit to volunteer first for cafeteria duty with the understanding that the District may decline to accept a volunteer if the performance of that volunteer on cafeteria duty has been determined to be unacceptable by the Administration. 3. If it is not possible to employ educational support staff, temporary supervisors, or volunteers, Members of the Bargaining Unit may be assigned on a rotating basis. Cafeteria supervision assignments shall be rotated on a regular basis to insure equitability.
Cafeteria Supervision. In regard to cafeteria supervision of high school students, all available certificated personnel will be rotated on an equitable basis, and the non-teaching schedule will not be arranged to avoid that duty.

The work year of professional employees shall be determined by the terms and conditions of professional employee's individual contracts based upon the official school calendar. Current professional employees, exclusive of those in supplemental or extended time contracts, shall be employed by the Board for a contract of 187 days. Professional employees new to the District, exclusive of those in supplemental or extended time contracts, shall be employed for 190 days. These days shall commence on the date the professional employee is required to report for initial duties. The calendar shall be set by the Board of Education, with such input as the Board deems necessary from the administration, teachers, and patrons. It is the intent of the parties that the calendar will be set one year in advance. All days designated as teacher workdays without students are to be used at the discretion of the professional employee for activities related to instructional purposes. Teacher workdays without students will be self-directed. Flexibility with respect to locations for working will be supported. 2. Professional employees shall be paid additional compensation on the basis of contract extension in the form of an initial contract or by addendum. Such payment shall be on the basis of the professional employee's daily rate of base pay multiplied by the number of additional days worked. (Counselors will receive contract addendums for eighteen (18) additional days.) 3. The calendar shall contain 194 days: Three (3) days shall be designated as orientation days for professional employees newly employed by the District; 191 days to be designated as either professional development, teacher work day or student contact days. The days to be allocated to either professional development, teacher work day or student contact days will be designated annually by the Board of Education when the calendar is developed. Four (4) of the 191 days are specifically scheduled to compensate for those school days when schools of the District may be closed due to hazardous driving conditions. In the event no such closing is necessary, or if it becomes necessary to close schools for one day, the extra days(s) will be canceled prior to the expiration of the school year.   • Supervision of Contractor Personnel The Contractor must supply all necessary and sufficient supervision over the work that is being performed and will be held solely responsible for the conduct and performance of his employees or agents involved in work under the Agreement.

  • Cafeteria The parties acknowledge that a food service is or shall be provided in the lower level of the Building. The parties further acknowledge that, although the existing food service facility in the Building will be in place at the Commencement Date, shortly thereafter Landlord will be relocating the food service facility to the lower level of the Building (the "Food Service Relocation"). Landlord estimates that the Food Service Relocation will take approximately six (6) weeks (which time period may be further extended as a result of delays in Landlord obtaining all required governmental and/or municipal inspections, approvals, authorizations or consents, including, without limitation, any required inspections by and authorizations from the Department of Health, although Landlord agrees to use reasonable diligent in obtaining same), during which period there will be no food service facility in the Building. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Landlord agrees that during the Food Service Relocation, it will arrange for limited food service to be available at the Building (i.e., prepared foods, such as sandwiches and beverages sold by food service personnel, not served from a vending machine). Once the Food Service Relocation is completed, Landlord agrees that the service provided in the food service facility shall be similar in quality to that which is offered in similar Class "A" office buildings. For so much of the Term as such food service is provided in the Building, Tenant shall be permitted to invite its principals and employees to use same for the purchase and consumption of food and beverages offered for sale. Tenant shall pay or reimburse Landlord, on a monthly basis, for Tenant's Proportionate Share of any subsidy provided by Landlord to the food service operator, but in no event shall Tenant's Proportionate Share of the subsidy exceed $15,000.00 per annum. Tenant shall also have the right to use the food service area from time to time and at any time after 3:00p.m on weekdays for the hosting of business events or functions so long as (a) Tenant provides Landlord with reasonable prior notice of the date, time and nature of such events or functions, (b) Tenant reimburses Landlord, on demand, for any additional cost or expense actually incurred by Landlord in connection with such events or functions (e.g., security services, cleaning services, etc.), and (c) Tenant enters into such agreements for such use of the food service area as Landlord and the food service provider may reasonably request. The use of the food service shall be subject to the reasonable rules and regulations of Landlord and/or the operator of the food service now or hereafter imposed. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Paragraph, if the food service opens for business and subsequently closes, either temporarily or permanently, there shall be no abatement or diminution of Rent and Tenant shall in no event be relieved from any of its obligations under this lease, except that Tenant shall not be required to pay Tenant's Proportionate Share of the food service subsidy for the period in which the food service is not operational. Further, in the event there is no food service in the Building for thirty (30) or more consecutive days, Landlord shall provide Tenant with a revocable license to use the food service area so that Tenant can provide its own licensed and reputable food service operator for the purpose of providing food service in the lower level of the Building.
