VACATION AND SICK LEAVE BANKS. 1. Upon layoff, vacation and sick hours accumulated but unused at the time of layoff shall be available for cash out as provided in Articles 9 and 10 of this agreement. If this option is selected, the laid off employee's vacation and sick leave banks shall cease to exist.

VACATION AND SICK LEAVE BANKS. Employees whose employment status changes as indicated in subsection D above, will be provided a percentage of a bank of vacation and sick leave days commensurate to the "average FTE". Sick and vacation leave banks will be audited and balanced in the same manner as the process described in subsection D commensurate to the "average FTE", whenever a change in employment status occurs. Any overuse of sick or vacation leave days during a specific period will be recovered from the bank of days for the next period if any remain. If none remain, the overuse will be deducted from any balance in salary-compensation due. When the persons employment status changes for reasons related to termination, resignation, retirement or transfer 10 another unit which does not have vacation days provided in a manner similar to that, provided the AFT 4479 bargaining unit, the employees unused vacation days following an audit and balancing of the employee's leave bank, commensurate to the "average FTE" will be paid to the employee at the time of the change in employment status. Employees working less than full-time will be provided a percentage of a bank of vacation and sick leave days. Sick and vacation leave banks will be provided in the same manner as the process provided in subsection A (3) commensurate to the "actual FTE".   • Vacation and Sick Leave At such reasonable times as the Board of Directors shall in its discretion permit, the Employee shall be entitled, without loss of pay, to absent himself voluntarily from the performance of his employment under this Agreement, with all such voluntary absences to count as vacation time; provided that:

  • Sick Leave Bank 22.1 The purpose of this Sick Leave Bank is to provide a bank of sick leave hours from which a member may draw in case of extended absences due to illness/disability which renders the member incapable of working.

  • Sick Leave While on Vacation An employee who while on vacation is incapacitated for one (1) or more days due to personal illness or injury may charge such days to accrued sick leave. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.

  • Accrued Sick Leave The Board shall provide all employees with a cumulative record 23 of accrued sick leave hours on each pay statement.

  • VACATIONS 13.01 All employees who are regularly scheduled seventy-five (75) hours on a bi- weekly basis shall receive vacations with pay based on length of full-time continuous service as follows:

  • Vacation/Holidays The Executive shall be entitled to all public holidays observed by the Company and vacation days in accordance with the applicable vacation policies for senior executives of the Company, which shall be taken at a reasonable time or times.

  • Sick Leave Bank Committee The Committee shall be appointed by the BTU-ESP for the purpose of administering the Sick Leave Bank. The Committee shall:

  • Vacation and Holidays Executive will receive four weeks of paid vacation each year in addition to all holidays observed by the Company and its subsidiaries. Executive may carry over, in the aggregate, up to four weeks of unused vacation to a subsequent year. Any unused vacation time in excess of four weeks will not accumulate or carry over from one calendar year to the next. Each calendar year, Executive shall take not less than one (1) week vacation.

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take three (3) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal year following the date of employment. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of one and one-quarter (1 1/4) days for each completed calendar month of service.
