GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE 14. 01 It is the mutual desire of the parties that all complaints and grievances shall be adjusted as soon as possible. A teacher who has a complaint relating to the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of the collective agreement shall, where practical, discuss the complaint with the Principal. If the discussion does not result in the satisfactory settlement of the complaint within five (5) working days, the teacher may lodge a grievance as provided herein.

GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE 14. 01 The Union and the Employer agree that it is in the best interest of all parties to resolve disputes at the earliest opportunity and at the lowest level. The Union and the Employer encourage problem resolution between employees and management and are committed to assisting in resolution of disputes as soon as possible. In the event a dispute is not resolved in an informal manner, this Rule provides a formal process for problem resolution.
