VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS. ‌ All employees shall be notified of the use of video cameras located on District property or school buses. Drivers will receive required training on all video cameras located on school buses. The District agrees that any video produced by these cameras may only be reviewed by District management employees and, when necessary, any employee on the video being reviewed.
VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS. 1. Video surveillance cameras may be used to record classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, playgrounds, parking lots and other common areas for the safety of students, staff, and visitors. Video Surveillance Cameras will not be placed in general education classrooms. The videos will be used primarily, but not limited to the following reasons: a. Ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff. b. Evaluate and address claims of abuse, neglect, or misconduct by students, staff, or community members. c. Observe student behaviors and provide feedback and coaching to staff. d. Observe and respond to other incidents or needs that may arise related to staff and student security and safety. 2. Video surveillance will not be part of the formal observation process for Employees. However, when appropriate, video observation of surveillance footage may be used for Employee and student misconduct investigations.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS. The Tenant shall be given access to on site video surveillance cameras by the Landlord. The cost per month is $60.00. The Tenant shall be responsible for its own internal security against any unauthorized access into its computer systems that may occur through the video surveillance camera software or any other means. Tenant agrees to, and hereby does, indemnify, defend and save harmless Landlord, its officers, members, agents and employees from all claims, actions, demands, damages, costs, expenses amid liabilities whatsoever, including reasonable attorneys' fees, on account of any real or claimed loss, damage or liability occurring in or at the Premises or remotely, arising out of the Use of the Video Surveillance Cameras, including but limited to, any authorized or unauthorized access to the Video Surveillance Cameras. The Landlord shall be responsible for any normal "wear and tear" repairs to the cameras or any part of the system. However, the Tenant shall be liable for any damages caused by the Tenant to the cameras or any component of the system, and the Landlord shall be reimbursed by the Tenant for repairs needed and caused by the Tenant,

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS. The VENDOR shall install and maintain digital video surveillance systems with four (4) cameras on each bus used to provide services under this PROPOSAL. Below each video surveillance camera, the VENDOR will post and maintain a clear warning sign to passengers that reads: “VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERA AND SOUND RECORDING IN USE.” All video surveillance and sound records shall be the sole property of the DISTRICT. The VENDOR shall, on behalf of the DISTRICT, secure and retain physical possession of the video surveillance and sound records for a period of up to two (2) weeks. If after this period the DISTRICT does not ask the VENDOR to provide the DISTRICT with the video surveillance and sound records, the VENDOR shall record over the video surveillance and sound records. The DISTRICT also requires that each bus have operating digital cameras and GPS equipment. All vehicles are required to have GPS with a Parent tracking App that would work with the districts routing system.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS. The primary purpose of the security cameras is to enhance the safety of students and staff and to assist in the prevention of thefts and vandalism. Security cameras are not intended to replace, supplant, or circumvent supervision of employees. The District will not engage in video surveillance for arbitrary or capricious reasons 12.5.1 The District shall notify the CSEA Chapter President no later than fifteen (15) work days after the effective date of this MOU, and annually no later than August 15, as to the location of all security cameras. Additionally, the District shall notify the Chapter President within five (5) business days of the placement of any new cameras. To achieve and maintain the greatest possible security through use of the cameras, CSEA agrees to keep the camera locations confidential. 12.5.2 When the District installs permanent security cameras at a school site or facility, the District shall post a sign at the site or facility to notify students, staff, and the public that video surveillance may occur. 12.5.3 The use of security footage will not infringe on the privacy rights of employees. To that end, no security cameras shall be installed in bathrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms, or dedicated employee break rooms or any area where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy. 12.5.4 If security camera footage is being considered as evidence in an employee discipline matter, the footage shall be securely maintained and CSEA shall be given access to the footage as appropriate to prepare for a disciplinary proceeding. Footage for potential discipline purposes may only be used in relation to a formal written complaint Footage used as evidence in disciplinary matters shall be limited to: (a) Footage from the date of the alleged incident; (b) Footage from no more than ten business days before the alleged incident; (c) Footage from no more than ten business days after the alleged incident. 12.5.5 Video security cameras may be used to investigate: (a) Formal complaints; (b) Incidents involving theft or damage to District property and/or equipment; (c) Carelessness or negligence in the performance of duty or in the care or use of District property; (d) Crimes prohibited by law; (e) Discourteous, offensive and/or abusive conduct towards or by students, staff and/or the public; (f) Conduct which violates District, state and/or federal safety rules and regulations.
