WAGES AND COMPENSATION Section 1:. A. The County and the Union recognize and agree that the wage and pay plan provided in Appendix A shall constitute the official pay plan governing all persons employed in classifications included in this bargaining unit. Effective within thirty (30) calendar days after approval by the Board of Broward County Commissioners, any current bargaining unit employee who is not on step will be adjusted upward to the nearest step within range. Step movements are not automatic, and any step/increases advances shall not be made unless specifically negotiated by the parties. B. Fiscal Year 2021/2022: 1. Effective October 1, 2021, all pay range minimum and maximum rates of pay will be adjusted upward three percent (3%) as reflected in Appendix "A" This pay range adjustment does not adjust any individual employee’s salary, unless the individual employee’s salary is below the new minimum rate of the pay range, wherein the employee’s salary will be brought to the new minimum. 2. For Fiscal Year 2021/2022, effective on the first full pay period in October of 2021 (October 3, 2021), eligible bargaining unit employees, who (a) on their most recent annual performance review or other performance-based evaluation program received a rating of “Meets Overall Expectations” or higher; (b) are employed by the County as of October 2, 2021; and (c) are in a Bargaining Unit position as of the date of County Commission approval of this Agreement will receive a two (2) step increase within range, in accordance with the Pay Plan for Fiscal Year 2021/2022 contained in Appendix A of this Article. 3. Eligible employees whose base hourly rate is at or above the maximum rate of their pay range as of October 3, 2021, will not be eligible for a base hourly adjustment as provided in Section B.2. above. Those employees will receive a one- time, gross lump sum amount equal to four percent (4.0%) of the employee’s base annual salary. 4. All current employees who on their most recent annual performance evaluation received a rating of “Does Not Meet Overall Expectations” will not be eligible to receive the annually determined step increase at this time. However, in accordance with County Policy, such employees should be placed on a formal Performance Improvement Plan with a time duration of ninety (90) days and receive a “Special Performance Evaluation”. At the conclusion of the Performance Improvement Plan time frame, those employees with a performance rating that at least “Meets Overall Expectations...

  • Other Compensation and Fringe Benefits In addition to any executive bonus, pension, deferred compensation and long-term incentive plans which the Company or an affiliate of the Company may from time to time make available to the Employee, the Employee shall be entitled to the following during the Employment Term: (a) the standard Company benefits enjoyed by the Company’s other top executives as a group; (b) medical and other insurance coverage (for the Employee and any covered dependents) provided by the Company to its other top executives as a group; (c) supplemental disability insurance sufficient to provide two-thirds of the Employee’s pre-disability Annual Base Salary; (d) an annual incentive bonus opportunity under the Company’s annual incentive plan (“Annual Bonus Plan”) for each calendar year included in the Employment Term, with such opportunity to be earned based upon attainment of performance objectives established by the Committee (“Annual Bonus”). The Employee’s target Annual Bonus under the Annual Bonus Plan shall be no less than 150% of the Employee’s Annual Base Salary (collectively, the target and maximum are referred to as the “Annual Bonus Opportunity”). The Employee’s Annual Bonus Opportunity may be periodically reviewed and increased (but not decreased without the Employee’s express written consent) at the discretion of the Committee. The Annual Bonus shall be paid no later than the March 15th first following the calendar year to which the Annual Bonus relates. Unless provided otherwise herein or the Board determines otherwise, no Annual Bonus shall be paid to the Employee unless the Employee is employed by the Company, or an affiliate thereof, on the Annual Bonus payment date; and (e) participation in the Company’s equity incentive plans.

  • Call Back Compensation (a) Call back is an occasion where an employee has been released from duty and is called back to work prior to his/her normal starting time. On such occasions, the employee’s scheduled or recognized shift shall be made available for work, except that the Agency shall not be obligated to work the employee more than twelve (12) consecutive hours and the employee may choose not to work more than twelve (12) consecutive hours, excluding meal periods, of combined call back time and regular shift time. (b) An employee who is called back to work outside his/her scheduled workshift shall be paid a minimum of the equivalent of two (2) hours pay at the overtime rate of pay computed from when the employee actually begins work. After two (2) hours work, in each call back situation, the employee shall be compensated at the appropriate rate of pay for time worked. (c) This provision does not apply to telephone calls at home or overtime work which is essentially a continuation of the scheduled workshift.

  • Fees and Compensation Managers and Officers may receive such compensation and fees, if any, for their services, and such reimbursement for expenses, as may be determined by resolution of the Board.

  • Certain Compensation Other than in connection with a Conversion of an Affected Loan, Borrower shall pay to Administrative Agent for the account of the applicable Bank, upon the request of such Bank through Administrative Agent which request includes a calculation of the amount(s) due, such amount or amounts as shall be sufficient (in the reasonable opinion of such Bank) to compensate it for any loss, cost or expense which such Bank reasonably determines is attributable to: (1) any payment or prepayment of a LIBOR Loan or Bid Rate Loan made by such Bank, or any Conversion of a LIBOR Loan (or conversion of the rate of interest on a Bid Rate Loan) made by such Bank, in any such case on a date other than the last day of an applicable Interest Period, whether by reason of acceleration or otherwise; (2) any failure by Borrower for any reason to Convert a LIBOR Loan or a Base Rate Loan or to Continue a LIBOR Loan, as the case may be, to be Converted or Continued by such Bank on the date specified therefor in the relevant notice under Section 2.14; (3) any failure by Borrower to borrow (or to qualify for a borrowing of) a LIBOR Loan or Bid Rate Loan which would otherwise be made hereunder on the date specified in the relevant Election notice under Section 2.14 or Bid Rate Quote acceptance under Section 2.02(e) given or submitted by Borrower; or (4) any failure by Borrower to prepay a LIBOR Loan or Bid Rate Loan on the date specified in a notice of prepayment. Without limiting the foregoing, such compensation shall include an amount equal to the present value (using as the discount rate an interest rate equal to the rate determined under (2) below) of the excess, if any, of (1) the amount of interest (less the Applicable Margin) which otherwise would have accrued on the principal amount so paid, prepaid, Converted or Continued (or not Converted, Continued or borrowed) for the period from the date of such payment, prepayment, Conversion or Continuation (or failure to Convert, Continue or borrow) to the last day of the then current applicable Interest Period (or, in the case of a failure to Convert, Continue or borrow, to the last day of the applicable Interest Period which would have commenced on the date specified therefor in the relevant notice) at the applicable rate of interest for the LIBOR Loan or Bid Rate Loan provided for herein, over (2) the amount of interest (as reasonably determined by such Bank) based upon the interest rate which such Bank would have bid in the London interbank market for Dollar deposits, for amounts comparable to such principal amount and maturities comparable to such period. A determination of any Bank as to the amounts payable pursuant to this Section shall be conclusive absent manifest error. The obligations of Borrower under this Section shall survive the repayment of all amounts due under or in connection with any of the Loan Documents and the termination of the Loan Commitments in respect of the period prior to such termination.

  • Other Compensation and Benefits Except as may be provided under this Agreement, any benefits to which Executive may be entitled through the date of Executive’s termination pursuant to the plans, policies and arrangements referred to in Section 4(d) shall be determined and paid in accordance with the terms of such plans, policies and arrangements, and except as otherwise provided by this Agreement, Executive shall have no right to receive any other compensation, or to participate in any other plan, arrangement or benefit, with respect to future periods after such termination or resignation.

  • Services and Compensation Consultant shall perform the services described in Exhibit A (the “Services”) for the Company (or its designee), and the Company agrees to pay Consultant the compensation described in Exhibit A for Consultant’s performance of the Services.

  • Wages and Benefits Wages, performance-sharing opportunities and benefits as identified in this Section 2 are considered to be ongoing obligations and will terminate at the extended expiration of local agreements, rather than at the expiration of this Agreement.

  • Other Compensation Unless otherwise stated, this Agreement does not include the Agent’s service of preparing the Property for sale or refinance, modernization, fire or major damage restoration, rehabilitation, financial accounting or legal advice, representation before public agencies, advising on proposed new construction, debt collection, counseling, attending any Association or Condominium meetings, and any other obligation not listed as a Service. If the Owner requests the Agent to perform services not included in this Agreement, a fee shall be agreed upon before such services are performed.

  • Long-Term Compensation Including Stock Options, and Benefits, Deferred Compensation, and Expense Reimbursement.
