Work Life Balance Initiatives. (a) The employer is committed to providing employees with flexibility to assist in balancing work and life commitments. The following initiatives may be accessed by employees (with the exception of clause 43.2, which does not apply to casual employees): (i) use of individual flexible working arrangements as per clause 41 (Individual Flexible Working Arrangements); (ii) home-based work; (iii) job sharing; (iv) part-time work; (v) career breaks; (vi) part-year employment; and (vii) short term absences for family and community responsibilities. (b) In addition to the above, the following initiatives in relation to leave may also be accessed by employees to assist in balancing work and life commitments: (i) utilisation of recreation leave at half pay; (ii) purchase of additional leave; (iii) advanced notice of extended leave without pay (up to 12 months).

Work Life Balance Initiatives. (a) The Commissioner is committed to providing Employees with flexibility to assist in balancing work and life commitments. The following initiatives may be accessed by Employees (except for those employed on a casual basis): (i) Flexible working hours; (ii) Home-based work; (iii) Job sharing; (iv) Part-time work; (v) Career breaks; (vi) Part-year employment; and (vii) Short term absences for family & community responsibilities. (b) In addition to the above, the following initiatives in relation to leave (the details of which are set out in Schedule 13) may also be accessed by Employees to assist in balancing work and life commitments: (i) Utilisation of recreation leave at half pay; (ii) Purchase of additional leave; and (iii) NTPS Extended Leave Scheme (c) The initiatives provided under sub-paragraphs (b)(i) and (b)(ii) do not apply to 92% and 96% school based administration Employees due to existing operational, stand down and leave arrangements in those workplaces.
Work Life Balance Initiatives. (a) DPC supports employees in balancing their work and life commitments, taking into consideration the employee’s situation and DPC operational requirements. DPC recognises that balancing the needs of the workplace with those of the employees will create a more effective and productive workplace. (b) The CEO is committed to providing an employee with flexibility to assist in balancing their work and life commitments. The following initiatives may be accessed by employees (Except for sub-clause 57.4, this clause does not apply to casual employees): (i) home-based work (for day duty employees); (ii) job sharing; (iii) part-time work; (iv) career breaks; (v) part-year employment; (vi) short term absences for family and community responsibilities; (vii) individual flexible working arrangements under clause 13; (viii) use of the NTPS Flexible Working Hours (Flextime) guidelines (Note: applicable band width under guidelines to read 6.00 am to 6.00 pm) (c) In addition to the above, an employee may also access the following to assist balance work and life commitments: (i) Recreation leave at half pay; (ii) Purchase of additional leave; (iii) Advanced notice of extended leave without pay (up to 12 months). (d) Details of the work life balance initiatives established by sub-clauses (b)(i) and (c)(ii) are set out in Attachment F to this Agreement.

  • Productivity Allowance A productivity allowance per hour worked will be paid to employees engaged upon construction work from the date of agreement. This allowance will not be subject to penalty addition and shall be in lieu of all or any Parent Award disability allowances, with the exception of the multi-storey allowance. Site/Project Allowances will be paid in addition to the productivity allowance where such an addition is either: (i) Where such an allowances is awarded by the Industrial Relations Commission; or (ii) Where such an allowance is required by a site condition specified at the time of tender. It is incumbent upon the company to enquire of the Head Contractor/Client at the time of tender whether a site/project allowance is required to be paid and in particular whether it is required to be paid in accordance with the Construction Industry Site Allowance Matrix: or (iii) If the Contract between the Employer and the Head Contractor/Client does not contain provision for a site allowance, and after the contract is made the head contractor makes an agreement under which a site allowance is payable, then the head contractor should then agree in writing to reimburse the employer the full cost of the said allowance.

  • Fares and Travel Allowance All Employees shall be entitled to receive the fares and travel allowance as follows:

  • Contribution Formula - Basic Life Coverage For employee basic life coverage and accidental death and dismemberment coverage, the Employer contributes one-hundred (100) percent of the cost.

  • First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums. b) Where a company is paying a bonus or premium(s) greater than set out above, it shall keep such policy in effect. c) Effective July 1, 1994, premiums for designated First Aid Tickets shall be: Xxxxx 0 - $0.85 per hour Xxxxx 0 - $0.50 per hour

  • Dependent Life Insurance In the event of the death of your spouse or dependent child from any cause whatsoever, while you and your dependents are insured under the plan, the insurance company will pay you $10,000 in respect of your spouse and $5,000 in respect of each insured dependent child. This applies to those employees with family health coverage only.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Cost Allocation Cost allocation of Generator Interconnection Related Upgrades shall be in accordance with Schedule 11 of Section II of the Tariff.

  • Travel Allowances There shall be no payments for travel expenses, travel time, subsistence allowance or other such reimbursements or special pay except as expressly set forth in this Agreement.

  • COSTS DISTRIBUTED THROUGH COUNTYWIDE COST ALLOCATIONS The indirect overhead and support service costs listed in the Summary Schedule (attached) are formally approved as actual costs for fiscal year 2022-23, and as estimated costs for fiscal year 2024-25 on a “fixed with carry-forward” basis. These costs may be included as part of the county departments’ costs indicated effective July 1, 2024, for further allocation to federal grants and contracts performed by the respective county departments.

  • Medical/Dental Expense Account The Employer agrees to allow insurance eligible employees to participate in a medical and dental expense reimbursement program to cover co- payments, deductibles and other medical and dental expenses or expenses for services not covered by health or dental insurance on a pre-tax basis as permitted by law or regulation, up to the maximum amount of salary reduction contributions allowed per calendar year under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code or other applicable federal law.
