Your Promise. Upon confirming your schedule with The University of Alabama, you agree to make payment on your student financial account balance according to billing instructions published by Student Account Services. The charge for the meal plan you select will be posted to your student financial account once for the fall semester and again for the spring semester. Per the Payment/Confirmation Policy of Student Account Services, “Students will be notified via their crimson e-mail when to access their student account at myBama to review each billing period’s activity and begin paying for that period. No paper bills will be mailed. Students should access their myBama account to view additional charges incurred during the course of the semester and to see due dates to prevent late payment charges from being applied.” This agreement is for the FULL ACADEMIC YEAR, not just the fall semester. Billing dates for each semester may be found at the Student Account Services website. Your meal plan will be active within 24 business hours after confirming your schedule.
Your Promise. If one or more of the events set forth in section 3 below occur during the Term of this Agreement, you promise not to resign for at least 12 full calendar months except as follows:
(a) you may resign if you are given Good Reason to do so; and (b) you may terminate employment on account of retirement on or after attaining age 65 or because you become unable to work due to serious illness or injury.
Your Promise. 5.1 To comply with your obligations as stated in this Agreement, and to follow any reasonable instructions issued to you, from time to time, by, or on behalf of, West Lancashire College.
5.2 To attend induction events, lectures, tutorials, examinations and other activities which form part of your programme (subject to absence for medical or other agreed reasons); and to submit, by required deadlines, course work and other assignments (subject to exceptional circumstances, such as illness, when special procedures must be followed to obtain allowance under the Mitigating Circumstances Procedure and Process).
5.3 To attend all formal teaching sessions, to engage with your studies, and to inform a designated member of staff if you are unable to attend classes. If you persistently fail to attend or to engage with your studies West Lancashire College reserves the right to withdraw you and report your withdrawal to external authorities (for example Student Loan Company, Home Office) as necessary.
5.4 If you are an international student it is a condition of your visa that you attend all your classes and maintain contact with West Lancashire College. You will be required to sign in regularly throughout your studies, to ensure compliance with Home Office Regulations.
5.5 To comply with any professional standard or code of conduct applicable to your programme; and to abide by any special conditions set out in your programme (course) handbook, or notified to you by West Lancashire College.
5.6 To register and enrol in accordance with the requirements established by the HE Registry and College.
5.7 To engage actively with West Lancashire College by checking your West Lancashire College email account regularly for updates and current information.
5.8 To disclose any unspent criminal convictions when applying to West Lancashire College. For some programmes we may also ask you to complete a disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring Service, which may include disclosure of spent convictions.
5.9 To notify Learner Services of any changes to your name, term-time address and/or home address, or any other change to information supplied by you when you submitted your application form or enrolment form. For some programmes, we may also ask you to inform the Learner Services of changes in your circumstances; including your health status or any police investigations you become the subject of, where this has direct impact on your ability to undertake a specific programme...
Your Promise. 3.1 To attend induction events lectures, tutorials, workshops, examinations and other activities forming part of the programme (apart from absence for genuine medical reasons or other special circumstances);
3.2 To submit both formative and summative assessments as required for the programme;
3.3 To undertake adequate preparation for any activity you are required to undertake outside the College, conducting yourself in an appropriate manner at all times;
3.4 To comply with any relevant professional standards relating to your programme and/or any special conditions set out in your programme handbook or notified to you by the College;
3.5 To comply with the college behaviour policy which is available on the college website;
3.6 To wear your student ID card and lanyard at all times whilst on College premises;
3.7 To actively engage with the College by checking your College email account regularly for updates and current information;
3.8 To disclose any unspent criminal convictions or ongoing criminal investigations when applying to the College;
3.9 To notify the Higher Education Office of any changes to your name, term-time address and/or home address, or any other change to information supplied by you in your application;
3.10 To notify the College of any changes in circumstances, including your health status or any police investigations where this has a direct impact on your ability to undertake a specific programme of study.
3.11 To pay your tuition fees and other expenses relating to your programme in a timely manner.
3.12 To inform the Higher Education Office in writing if you wish to withdraw from, transfer or suspend your studies.
3.13 To comply with all relevant College and awarding body regulations, which may be amended from time to time. FRESHMAN DINING PROGRAM: The University of Alabama is committed to providing its students with a comprehensive educational experience. The University has determined that for most first-year students, campus dining has numerous educational, social, and dietary benefits. In recognition of the value of the living-learning experience, The University of Alabama requires first-year students to participate in the Freshman Dining Program. All first-year students will automatically be billed for an All Access plan for both fall and spring semesters. All first-year students enrolling in the spring will automatically be billed for an All Access plan for the spring only. • Cancellations are accepted for first-year students with evidence of an approved housing exemption. These requests must be sent to by email to xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx before September 1st. • Fall and spring downgrades/cancellations are ONLY permitted for upperclassmen who are new meal plan members for the current term. Your Promise. 3.1 Once you have enrolled, you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with:
a) The rules and regulations relating to your Programme, as found in your Programme Handbooks and Programme Specifications.
b) Any eligibility requirements of the relevant professional accreditation and/or regulatory body for your Programme.
c) To comply with all relevant regulations, codes of practice and policies of the College, which can be found in the useful links (hyperlink) with particular attention Academic Integrity and Misconduct, Behaviour for Success and Academic Appeals.
3.2 If your Programme requires you to register with a professional, statutory, or regulatory body and/or to practice under license, it is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary declarations (including but not limited to criminal records, medical conditions, disabilities) are made to the College, both during the admissions process and during your period of study.
3.3 Where your programme requires, you are responsible for adhering to the professional and placements regulations including when required DBS check, as such information may have an impact on admission and placement.
3.4 To provide accurate information to the College including relevant criminal convictions which may impact DBS and placement at any time during this contract.
Your Promise. You promise to pay us for all purchases made by you or anyone you authorize or by anyone who has apparent authority to use your Card or Account plus any interest assessed on your Account and any other charges and fees you may owe under the terms of this Agreement. You cannot add authorized users to your Account and should not share your Card details with other persons or allow them to use your Account. If you permit any person to use your Card by giving them the authorization to obtain credit on your Account, you will be liable for all transactions made by that person including transactions for which you may not have intended to be liable, even if the amount of those transactions causes a credit line to be exceeded. Your Promise. If one or more Potential Changes in Control occur during the Term of this Agreement, you promise not to resign for at least six full calendar months after a Potential Change in Control occurs, except as follows:
(a) you may resign after a Change in Control occurs; (b) you may resign if you are given Good Reason to do so; and (c) you may terminate employment on account of retirement on or after attaining age 65 or because you become unable to work due to serious illness or injury. You also promise you will use your best judgment and efforts to increase earnings and protect the goodwill of the Company for the benefit of its employees and stockholders.
