7k Training Program. All employees shall be provided with a minimum of sixty (60) hours of annual training. This training shall be either individual or group formalized, structured courses of instruction to acquire skills and knowledge for an employee’s current or future job performance. The training shall be as required to contain measurable learning objectives that can be evaluated in a classroom setting or in structured on-the-job training. The sixty (60) hours of training is divided between forty-eight (48) hours of Off-Post Training Sessions (OPTS) and twelve (12) hours of On-the-Job Training (OJT). Where appropriate, training will not result in additional hours of work during the work period. Normally, OPTS training will be provided during second watch work hours. Employees working other shifts shall be provided a minimum of a seven (7) day notice of the shift assignment change to attend required training, in accordance with Section 11.01, Shift and/or Assignment Changes. The CCPOA Chapter President or designee will have input in the planning of the OPTS training hours with their local management. DJJ shall provide CCPOA Headquarters with a copy of On-the-Job Training (OJT) materials (which are subject to change) annually on a fiscal basis prior to implementation of yearly training. Time for the completion of the OJT assigned modules will be incorporated into the monthly casework schedule. DJJ will inform CCPOA of changes to the training modules.

7k Training Program. All employees shall be provided fifty-two (52) hours of annual training. This training shall be either individual or group formalized, structured courses of instruction to acquire skills and knowledge for an employee’s current or future job performance. These organized activities shall contain measurable learning objectives that can be evaluated in a classroom setting or in structured on-the-job training. The Departments agree to incorporate CPOST approved courses within the training program. A. CDC Institutional Based Employees Employees shall be provided four (4) hours of training every twenty-eight (28) day work period in accordance with the following guidelines: 1. Training classes shall be at least one (1) hour in duration and shall be scheduled in a four (4) hour training session. 2. Training sessions shall be offered on no less than two (2) of the following three (3) days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) per week in every twenty-eight (28) day work period for all watches. This may be adjusted for First Watch depending on the size of the work force. 3. Each post or job assignment shall be assigned a primary training day which shall guarantee the employee a seat in the training session. The primary training day shall be assigned to either the first or second week of the twenty-eight (28) day work period. The employee is not mandated to attend this primary training day and does not need to obtain permission to miss the training session. If an employee does not attend his/her primary day it will be the individual’s responsibility to attend another training session within the same twenty-eight (28) day work period. 4. Employees not attending their primary session shall be able to either pre- schedule attendance or walk in on any other training session during the twenty-eight (28) day work period. If the employee pre-schedules to attend a training session it shall guarantee the employee a seat in the class. Except for size restricted classes (such as range, side-handle baton, etc.), walk-in attendance shall only be limited to class size as determined by physical plant resources and State Fire Marshal levels. 5. An employee who fails to attend a four (4) hour training session within a twenty-eight (28) day work period without an approved reason may be subject to a pay dock. An employee who fails to attend one (1) training session in the preceding twelve (12) month period without approval may be required to attend his/her assigned primary training day ...

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Training Plan 19.6.1 An apprentice shall be a party to an individual Training Plan. 19.6.2 The Training Plan sets out the training that the apprentice will do both on – the – job and off – the – job. The Training Plan also sets out how the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will ensure the apprentice will receive quality training – both on – the – job and off – the – job. 19.6.3 The Training Plan reflects the choices made by the employer and the apprentice in relation to:-

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Quality Assurance Program An employee shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of earnings from her or his regularly scheduled working hours for the purpose of writing examinations required by the College of Nurses of Ontario arising out of the Quality Assurance Program.

  • Trainings Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff. 3.3.5.2 The CONTRACTOR shall provide an initial orientation and training as well as ongoing training, including training targeted to different types of staff, to ensure compliance with this Agreement. Including targeted training regarding: 3.3.5.2.1 Care Coordination; 3.3.5.2.2 Nursing Facility Level of Care Determinations; 3.3.5.2.3 Setting of Care Submissions; 3.3.5.2.4 Community Benefit Services and Supplemental Questionnaire; and
