AIMS OF AGREEMENT. The aims of the Agreement are to enable the parties to develop and implement strategies which recognise and achieve productivity improvements without impairing the quality of support services and of patient care; and to enhance job satisfaction, security and remuneration.
AIMS OF AGREEMENT. To provide a framework upon which the Company and its employees can build an ongoing relationship which:
(1) Facilitates continuous improvements and the development of high performance work systems that benefit customers, employees and shareholders.
(2) Allows employees to gain and utilise a broader range of skills and encourages access to relevant and applicable training programs.
(3) Achieves improved communication and genuine consultation in the workplace.
AIMS OF AGREEMENT. 7.1. To implement workplace practices so as to provide for more flexible working arrangements, this will improve the efficiency and productivity of the employer and the employees, and provide a high level of job satisfaction.
7.2. To encourage and develop a high level of skill, innovation and excellence amongst employees employed at The District Council of Streaky Bay through the provision of training and skills improvement programs.
7.3. To ensure strict adherence to the Award, this Agreement, and all other statutory provisions.
7.4. To develop and maintain a high degree of teamwork, trust and shared commitment to the achievement of real and sustainable improvements in productivity.
7.5. Increase the level of individual expertise of employees through the provision of training and skills improvement programs.
7.6. To recognise commitment, past productivity and efficiency improvements.
7.7. To promote a high standard of excellence in the delivery of services in all areas of Council's operations.
7.8. It is also recognised that an important factor in achieving the above objectives is the development of a working environment were all parties are appropriately involved with the decision making process.
7.9. To provide for security of employment, improved wages and employment conditions.
AIMS OF AGREEMENT. The aim of the Agreement is: • To maintain a high level of service and productivity of the Engineering Workshop, • Embrace continual change in the areas of new technology and equipment, • To maintain flexible working arrangements to allow the Council to efficiently meet the needs of the workforce; and • To reward the employees for their contribution towards increased productivity and their commitment towards providing a better service to Council’s operations.
AIMS OF AGREEMENT. 2.1 The aims of entering into this Agreement are:
2.1.1 to ensure the successful delivery of the Programme;
2.1.2 to define the roles and responsibilities of the Partners in relation to the Contract and the Programme;
2.1.3 to xxxxxx partnership working in a spirit of mutual trust and co-operation;
2.1.4 to ensure good governance in the implementation of the Programme;
2.1.5 to formalise the arrangements between the Partners; and
2.1.6 to ensure the long-term viability of the Programme.
AIMS OF AGREEMENT. The purpose and benefits of this Agreement is to:
5.1 encourage career progression and managerial skilling beyond senior professional status to management positions;
5.2 recognise the unique interests of Manager at Council;
5.3 encourage productivity and incentives for employees in management positions; and
5.4 formalise existing employment arrangements specific to Managers at Council and provide additional employment benefits to Managers.
AIMS OF AGREEMENT. (a) The parties recognise and agree to continue to build workplace arrangements and a culture that will contribute towards the long term viability of the Point Xxxxx Operation in an intensely competitive international market place. It is agreed that there will be a commitment to safety, quality, work place redesign and continuous improvement (Kaizen, problem solving and suggestion scheme) in order to secure and grow the business. These commitments will be achieved in a consultative manner, with employees working together towards agreed outcomes, providing employees with enhanced job opportunities and job satisfaction. This will • Ensure a safe and clean environment in which to work, through the participative efforts in all safety programs (including B-Safe), TPM and 5S initiatives. • Deliver efficient and effective work redesigns that enhance productivity, flexibility (within and across work groups and disciplines) and cost reduction. • Facilitate teamwork and team effectiveness, with a focus on enhancing employee appreciation of their impact upon the business. • Provide sound employee relations with a joint employer/union commitment to aligning employee needs with the goals of the Company. • Ensure all employees are trained in the principles of the Alcoa Business System and utilize the appropriate tools, as necessary in all areas of work. • Promote genuine cultural change through improved communication, work practices and trust at all levels. • Ensure that subject to the limits of their skill, knowledge and competence, employees undertake their whole job. • Work together as a unified team to overcome differences and obstacles. • Promote employee participation in improving the business, through improvement suggestions, from which they will be appropriately recognized. • Provide appropriate training and development opportunities to enable individual improvement, job satisfaction for employees and meets the business needs.
(b) The parties agree to support and promote the implementation of the Alcoa Business System through workplace redesign, TPM, 5S, Kaizen and problem solving, facilitating the removal of barriers to change, and positively encourage employee engagement in safety (including B- Safe), suggestion system, work place reform, quality processes and best practice.

AIMS OF AGREEMENT. 1.1 To promote partnership working in ways that meet needs for neighbourhood policing and community safety across the County.
1.2 To provide additional resources for neighbourhood policing and tackling community safety issues.
1.3 To introduce new ideas and ways for policing and working with community safety issues.
AIMS OF AGREEMENT. 1.5.1 Productivity and Efficiency – To stimulate and provide ongoing productivity improvement throughout Council.
AIMS OF AGREEMENT. 1.6.1 The aims of the Agreement are to: ⮚ Provide a concise record of the outcomes of negotiations between the Union and the Company which will be abided by and referred to in order to reduce the chances of disputes. ⮚ Document agreed strategies that will promote continuous improvement in quality, productivity and customer satisfaction whilst protecting the conditions of the Company’s employees. ⮚ Complement the Company’s policies and manuals.
