Annual Leave at Half Pay. 49.1 An employee may elect to take annual leave at half pay with the agreement of their manager. If an employee elects to take leave at half pay, ASIC will only deduct leave credits for half the leave nnual leave at half pay for a minimum of one week's duration (2.5 days leave credits) per request.
Annual Leave at Half Pay. Subject to Service delivery requirements and financial considerations, Anglicare SQ may approve an application to take Annual Leave at half pay for double the period of time. Where a request to take Annual Leave at half pay for is denied, Anglicare SQ will provide in writing to the employee the genuine reasons for not approving the leave, within two weeks of having received the application.
Annual Leave at Half Pay. Employees may be able to take Annual Leave at half pay. Annual Leave may be taken at 50% of an employee’s normal pay rate, thereby increasing the period of paid leave which can be taken. (For example an employee who has an accrual of 2 weeks paid Annual Leave can take 4 weeks paid Annual Leave at half pay). Applications will be considered by the relevant manager according to the needs of the business
Annual Leave at Half Pay. (a) You may, by agreement with Xxxxx the Hirer, elect to take annual leave at half pay, in accordance with the following conditions:
(i) A request for the taking of annual leave at half pay should be made at least 8 weeks in advance;
(ii) You may only take up to a maximum of 8 weeks' annual leave each year;
(iii) All additional annual leave taken at half pay must be taken when agreed to by you and Xxxxx the Hirer, and must not disrupt the operational requirements of the business.
Annual Leave at Half Pay. 17.4.1. An Employee may request to take their accrued annual leave entitlement at half pay (over a period twice as long as the number of days of leave deducted), if they have a balance of 70 hours or less at the time that the leave being applied for, and then taken.
17.4.2. An employee may only request annual leave at half pay once per calendar year.
Annual Leave at Half Pay. (a) Subject to clause 41.4, Full-time Employees who have completed at least twelve (12) months of continuous employment, may elect to take their Annual Leave at half-pay. Applications to take annual leave at half-pay will be by mutual agreement, and unless exceptional circumstances exist, subject to the following conditions:
(i) Minimum of seven (7) days annual leave (including rostered days off) must be taken at half pay.
(ii) Have no more than two (2) years annual leave entitlement accrued.
(b) During any period of annual leave at half pay all other entitlements will accrue and be paid on a pro-rata basis.
Annual Leave at Half Pay. 6.6.1. Annual leave at half pay allows an employee to utilise a period of accrued annual leave at half the usual rate of pay, in order to double the period of leave taken.
6.6.2. AIA and an employee may agree to the employee taking annual leave at half pay.
6.6.3. Employees must apply to use at least one week of accrued annual leave when accessing leave at half pay. This requirement is consistent with the overall intent of annual leave at half pay genuinely encouraging greater work life balance, rather than being used for ad hoc, single day, or short-term absences. It is also designed to minimise the administrative burden associated with processing additional annual leave requests due to the half pay option.
6.6.4. Public holidays are factored into the deduction of accrued leave entitlements in annual leave at half pay situations, as follows:
a. employees are paid for the public holiday at the amount that they would have been paid had the public holiday fallen on a day that they were not on annual leave (i.e.: at their full rate of pay); and
b. no accrued annual leave will be deducted for that day, even though it falls within a period of annual leave at half pay.
Annual Leave at Half Pay. An employee may take annual leave on half pay only at a time suitable to Eraring Energy and at its discretion. If half pay is chosen then the employee is entitled to a period of absence twice the amount of entitlement.
Annual Leave at Half Pay. By agreement with the employer, an employee may request to take annual leave at half pay. This will enable the employee to access additional leave to assist in balancing work and family obligations. In considering this request, regard must be had to the operational requirements of the workplace.
Annual Leave at Half Pay. 5.2.1. Annual leave may be taken at half pay so as to extend a period of annual leave. Participation in any annual leave at half pay arrangement is voluntary. Eligibility
5.2.2. Weekly team members are eligible to apply for annual leave at half pay if:
5.2.3. All accessible long service leave has been exhausted, and
5.2.4. They have less than or equal to 8 weeks accrued annual leave.
5.2.5. Team members who have a current purchased additional leave salary sacrifice arrangement cannot take annual leave at half pay until any purchased additional leave arrangement ceases. Taking annual leave at half pay
5.2.6. Eligible team members can apply for a maximum of 2 weeks annual leave at half pay during a 12 month period.
5.2.7. When team members apply for leave ‘at half pay’, they are applying for a period of paid leave and an equal period of unpaid leave. These periods of leave are taken one after the other, and pay for the paid leave taken is averaged over the full leave period.
5.2.8. This means that while team members are on leave ‘at half pay’ they will receive half of their normal weekly pay each week.
5.2.9. Annual leave at half pay can be taken at a time that is mutually agreed upon by the Company and the team member.
5.2.10. Public holidays that fall during a period of annual leave at half pay will be processed at the standard public holiday rate.
