Attendance and Punctuality Policy. The Employer offers PTO as a part of its endeavor to xxxxxx a healthy work environment. Nurses shall use accrued PTO rather than coming to work when they are ill. Nurses, as health care professionals, should evaluate their own ability to work without affecting the health of patients, visitors, or other employees. Through our partnership with parents/carers we are keen to help and support all our students so that they enjoy and achieve whilst simultaneously acquiring life skills, attitudes and values which prepare them to become free, responsible and active members of society. There is a strong link between good attendance and punctuality and levels of progress and achievement. The table below shows the link between attendance and learning.
Attendance and Punctuality Policy. ___I/We understand the importance of being on time for the school day, for the reasons detailed in the Family and Community handbook and the Partnership Agreement. Once a student misses more than 10 days of school, without approval from the Director, that student is placed in a probationary period; if additional school days are missed from this point forward, termination may result. Five (5) tardies may constitute one day’s-absence. Any student not picked up at dismissal time will be placed in Extended Care (this is not a Casetta program as detailed in the handbook), and the parent will be invoiced accordingly.

Students must, therefore, be present in their Form Room to register with their Form Tutor at 9.00 am each morning and at their first lesson each afternoon. Sixth Form students MUST log their lanyard in and out each time they enter and leave School. Students who miss lessons for no good reason are truanting and will receive a sanction in line with the school’s behaviour policy which will include being expected to make up the work they have missed in their own time. Students who arrive late to lessons will be given an appropriate sanction by their subject teacher. If students are absent from school, we ask that parents/carers ring the school on 01562 883193 or email xxxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx.xx by 9.30 am on the morning of the first day of absence to notify us of the situation. If the absence extends beyond three days, parents/carers should contact us again to keep us informed. Every effort should be made to arrange medical or dental appointments outside of school time. However, where medical or dental appointments cannot be made outside of school time, an appointment card or a letter from parents/carers should be shown to Xxx Xxxxxx. The school’s first aid room is available for use throughout the school day where first aid staff are able to offer first aid support. In exceptional circumstances, students may be sent to the first aid room by a teacher during lesson time. However, this will only occur where a member of staff thinks that students may be injured or unwell and should be sent home. In this situation, the parents/carers or other nominated adult of an unwell student will be contacted and asked to come into school to collect them.   • Attendance Policy In order to maximize learning opportunities, attendance is expected at all college and clinical sessions. Campus laboratory classes are usually demonstrations of essential nursing skills. There is no effective way to “make-up” missed laboratory classes, therefore the instructor may require attendance. For all clinical absences, the student must call the clinical setting a minimum of 30 minutes before the scheduled beginning time of the clinical session that will be missed and leave a message for the appropriate instructor. Any exception to this rule will be noted in writing in the individual course syllabus and green sheet. Students who miss more than 10% of the clinical days in a course may not be able to meet course objectives. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the appropriate instructor to determine “make- up” assignments for all absences. If a student has excess absences as defined in a particular course, the student’s status may be reviewed by the nursing faculty. The student may not be able to satisfactorily meet course objectives and may earn a failing grade.

  • Quality Assurance Plan The contractor shall develop and submit to NMFS a contractor Quality Assurance Plan, as referenced in Section F.5.3, which details how the contractor will ensure effectiveness and efficiency of collection efforts as well as the quality of data collected by its At-Sea Monitors. The contractor shall further establish, implement, and maintain a Quality Assurance Management program to ensure consistent quality of all work products and services performed under this contract.

  • Personnel Policies The School shall adopt, update, and adhere to personnel policies. These policies must be made readily accessible from the School’s website or school office, as described in Section 11.4.1. If the policy is not available from the School’s website, the School shall submit the current policy to the Commission.
