Bargaining Unit Rights. All rights, privileges and benefits enjoyed by the faculty during the term of this Agreement shall remain in effect for the duration of this Agreement.
Bargaining Unit Rights. 11.1 All Union business, discussions, and activities will be conducted by unit members or union officials outside established work hours as defined in Article 5 herein, and will be conducted in places other than District property, except when: (a) an authorized union representative obtains advance permission from the Superintendent or his designee regarding the specific time place and type of activity to be conducted; (b) the Superintendent or designee can verify that such requested activities and use of facilities will not interfere with the school program and/or duties of unit members and will not directly or indirectly interfere with the right of unit members to refrain from listening or speaking with a union representative; and (c) the Union pays a reasonable fee, if any, for expenses related to cleanup and any unusual wear or damage.
11.2 The Union may use the school mailboxes and bulletin board spaces designated by the Superintendent subject to the following conditions: (a) all postings for bulletin boards or items for school mailboxes must contain the date of posting or distribution and the identification of the organization together with a designated authorization by the Union president; (b) a copy of such postings or distributions must be delivered to the Superintendent or designee at the same time as posting or distribution; and (c) the Union will not post or distribute information which is derogatory or defamatory of the District or its personnel.
11.3 The District shall grant a reasonable amount of release time to Union representatives for the processing of grievances and negotiations. Release time for stewards to investigate grievances will not be unreasonably denied.
11.4 Upon the written authorization of a unit member, representatives of the Union shall have access to all legally non-confidential information in a unit member's personnel file.
Bargaining Unit Rights. The Union has sole exclusive bargaining rights under this agreement with respect to those mandatory subjects of bargaining as defined under Ohio Revised Code (O.R.
Bargaining Unit Rights. The unit shall have the privilege of using school facilities for meeting at times when such facilities are not otherwise in use and upon twenty-four (24) hour notification to the administrator responsible for such facilities.
Bargaining Unit Rights. 7.01 The District Board shall designate a bulletin board space for the use of the Union at an appropriate location and of a reasonable size at each worksite to be used only for the posting of the Bargaining Unit business and information for the membership.
7.02 The Bargaining Unit shall have reasonable access to the District Board’s courier service and the Board’s electronic communications service for communication with its members and the District Board.
7.03 The Bargaining Unit shall be allowed to carry out union business on the District Board’s premises at reasonable times and in reasonable locations.
7.04 The Bargaining Unit and its members shall have reasonable access to worksite fax machines (where available) in order to communicate between the worksite(s) and/or Bargaining Unit office at a nominal fee established by worksite policy for non-District Board business.
7.05 A Teacher shall be entitled to have a Bargaining Unit representative present at any meeting which is called for the purpose of discussing a professional difficulty.
Bargaining Unit Rights. The Board shall provide the Bargaining Unit President and District Officer with the Occasional Teacher List identified in Article 49.4.2 and 49.4.3, updates as described in articles 49.4.4 and 49.4.6 and a copy of all job postings.
Bargaining Unit Rights. 3.1 All Association business discussions and activities will be conducted by unit members outside established work hours as defined in Article 4 herein, and will be conducted in places other than district property, except when: (a) an authorized Association representative obtains advance permission from the Superintendent or his designee regarding the specific time, place and type of activity to be conducted; (b) the Superintendent or designee can verify that such requested activities and use of facilities will not interfere with the school programs and/or duties of unit members and will not directly or indirectly interfere with the right of unit members to refrain from listening or speaking with an Association representative; and (c) the Association shall have the right to make use of school buildings and facilities as provided by the Education Code and in accordance with District procedures.
3.2 The Association may use the school mailboxes and bulletin board spaces designated by the Superintendent subject to the following conditions: (a) all postings for bulletin boards or items for school mailboxes must contain the date of posting and removal or distribution and the identification of the organization together with a designated authorization by the Association president; (b) a copy of such postings or distributions must be delivered to the Superintendent or designee at the same time as posting or distribution.
3.3 The District will provide the Bargaining Unit with one (1) copy of Board agendas and minutes which will be sent at the same time they are released to the Board members.

UNION REPRESENTATION - A faculty member who has the expectation that disciplinary action may be initiated by the College has the right to request Union representation.
Bargaining Unit Rights. The Bargaining Unit shall have the right at any time to have the assistance of representatives of the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees’ Union when dealing or negotiating with the employer. A representative shall have access to the employees, during working hours, in order to investigate and assist in settling any grievances. The employer shall include the amount of union dues paid by each union member on their T-4 slip. The employer agrees to acquaint new employees with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect, and with the conditions of employment set out in the Articles dealing with Union Security and dues Check-off.
Bargaining Unit Rights. 49.5.1 The Board shall provide the Bargaining Unit President and District Officer with the Occasional Teacher Roster identified in Article 49.3.3 and 49.3.4, updates as described in article 49.3.5 and 49.3.7 and a copy of all job postings.
49.5.2 By ratification of this Agreement by members of the Bargaining Unit, they agree that the Board will provide the personal information listed in Article 49.3.5 and it is not a violation of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
