Calculating Teacher Performance. Teacher Performance is evaluated during a minimum of two cycles of formal observations, as well as a minimum of two classroom walkthroughs. Calculating Teacher Performance. 1. Unless specified otherwise in this Article, Teacher Performance is evaluated during two (2) cycles of formal observations, along with classroom walkthroughs. The evaluator is to use ODE-approved evaluation factors or measures and a scripting process, based on the teacher performance rubric, during the formal observations. Such performance is to be assessed through a process based on the following Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession: a. Understanding Student Learning and Development and Respecting the Diversity of the Students They Teach; b. Understanding the Content Area for which they have Instructional Responsibility; c. Understanding and Using Varied Assessment to Inform Instruction, Evaluate and Ensure Student Learning; d. Planning and Delivering Effective Instruction that Advances Individual Student Learning; e. Creating Learning Environments that Promote High Levels of Learning and Student Achievement; f. Collaborating and Communicating with Students, Parents, Other Educators, District Administrators and the Community to Support Student Learning; and g. Assuming Responsibility for Professional Growth, Performance and Involvement. 2. The forms to be used in determining teacher performance are aligned to the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession shown above, and the Ohio Teacher Performance Rubric.

Teacher Performance is evaluated during the two cycles of formal observations during the applicable school year using evidence provided by the teacher during pre-observation and post-observation conferences and periodic classroom walkthroughs. All meetings, walkthroughs and sources of evidence for the first cycle must be completed and compiled by the end of first semester. All meetings, walkthroughs and sources of evidence for the second cycle must be completed and compiled by May 1st. The percentage of effectiveness rating shall be those mandated by state law and will be attributed to Teacher Performance through a holistic process based upon the following Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession and training for credentialed evaluators: (i) Understanding student learning and development and respecting the diversity of the students they teach; (ii) Understanding the content area for which they have instructional responsibility; (iii) Understanding and using varied assessments to inform instruction, evaluate and ensure student learning; (iv) Planning and delivering effective instruction that advances individual student learning; (v) Creating learning environments that promote high levels of learning and student achievement; (vi) Collaborating and communicating with students, parents, other educators, district administrators, and the community to support student learning; and (vii) Assuming responsibility for professional growth, performance and involvement. b. The District’s evaluation tool for teacher evaluation will follow ODE’s model evaluation tool, the OTES including the scoring rubric as provided through OTES.

The Evaluation Committee has determined that the following OTES Forms will be used: Self-Assessment Summary Tool (Optional), Teacher Performance Evaluation Rubric, Professional Growth Plan, Informal Observation (Walkthroughs): General Form, Improvement Plan, Improvement Plan: Evaluation of Plan, Final Summative Rating of Teacher Effectiveness.( Add copies of these forms to the appendices in the Negotiated Agreement.)
Calculating Teacher Performance. Teacher performance assessments shall be based on the evidence provided by the teacher and credentialed evaluator, on the formal observations of the teacher by the teacher’s assigned evaluator, and the walkthroughs that are set forth in this agreement. No misleading, inaccurate, or undocumented information may become part of a teacher’s performance assessment. All results and conclusions of performance, assessments shall be documented and supported by evidence collected by the evaluator during documented walkthroughs, formal observations, and pre, post, and summative conferences, informal conversations, and evidence of practice and professionalism. A teacher may provide evidence to the credentialed evaluator. Teacher Performance is evaluated during the two cycles of formal observations and the walkthrough(s), observation(s), and other components required by Ohio Rev. Code to be used in the teacher evaluation procedure. An OTES Certified District Administrator shall be the primary evaluator. Teachers of an accomplished rating may choose their evaluator. Teachers of a skilled rating may have input on the selection of their credentialed evaluator for the evaluation cycle. Prior to the evaluation being placed in the employee’s personnel file, a post observation conference shall be conducted. The evidence as described above shall be considered in the post observation conference and changes made to the evaluation, where appropriate. Prior to final submission of information into OhioES a conference will be held at which time the teacher may submit additional evidence prior to May 1st. After the post conference is held, the teacher shall receive a written copy of the evaluation. Both the teacher and the evaluator shall sign and date the evaluation form. The teacher, by affixing his/her signature to the form indicates only that he/she has received and read such form and such signature does not indicate that he/she concurs with the evaluation, comments or ratings. The teacher has the right to submit comments or a rebuttal to the evaluation. The OTES Rubric will be used for Teacher Performance. The OSCES Rubric will be used for Counselor Performance.   • Work Performance Xxxxxx agrees that all Services performed hereunder shall be performed on a best effort basis by employees, students, faculty, graduate assistants and staff having an appropriate experience and skill level and in compliance with the statement of work.

  • Continuing Performance (a) The obligations under this Agreement continue until satisfied in full and do not merge with any action performed or document executed by any Party for the purposes of performance of this Agreement. (b) Any representation in this Agreement survives the execution of any document for the purposes of, and continues after, performance of this Agreement. (c) Any indemnity given by any Party under this Agreement: (i) constitutes a liability of that Party separate and independent from any other liability of that Party under this Agreement or any other agreement; and (ii) survives and continues after performance of this Agreement.

  • Services Performance All services are performed using generally recognized commercial practices and standards. Customer agrees to provide prompt notice of any such service concerns and HP will re-perform any service that fails to meet this standard.

  • Monitoring of Contract Performance The Contractor shall comply with the monitoring arrangements set out in the Monitoring Requirements Schedule including, but not limited to, providing such data and information as the Contractor may be required to produce under the Contract.

  • Product Performance Contractor hereby warrants and represents that the Products acquired by the Authorized User under the terms and conditions of this Contract conform to the specifications, performance standards and documentation in the Authorized User Agreement., and the documentation fully describes the proper procedure for using the Products. Contractor further warrants and represents that if the Products acquired by the Authorized User pursuant to an Authorized User Agreement under this Contract include software application development, software application customization, software programming, software integration or similar items (“Software Deliverables”) then such Software Deliverables shall be free from defects in material and workmanship and conform with all requirements of the Contract and Authorized User Agreement for the warranty period of one (1) year from the date of acceptance of the completed project (“Project warranty period”). Contractor also warrants that the Products, in the form provided to the Authorized User, do not infringe any copyright, trademark, trade secret or other right of any third party.

  • Contract Performance C19.1 The Contractor shall ensure that: C19.1.1 the Goods conform in all respects with the Specification and, where applicable, with any sample or performance demonstration approved by the Authority; C19.1.2 the Goods operate in accordance with the relevant technical specifications and correspond with the requirements of the Specification and any particulars specified in the Contract; C19.1.3 the Goods conform in all respects with all applicable Laws; and C19.1.4 the Goods are free from defects in design, materials and workmanship and are fit and sufficient for all the purposes for which such Goods are ordinarily used and for any particular purpose made known to the Contractor by the Authority.

  • School Performance The School shall achieve an accountability designation of Good Standing or Honor on each of the three sections of the Performance Framework. In the event the School is a party to a third party management contract which includes a deficit protection clause, the School shall be exempt from some or all measures within the financial portion of the Performance Framework. In accordance with Charter School Law, the Authorizer shall renew any charter in which the public charter school met all of the terms of its performance certificate at the time of renewal.

  • TIMELY PERFORMANCE (a) SELLER's timely performance is a critical element of this Contract. (b) SELLER shall provide LOCKHEED XXXXXX status of performance of this Contract when requested. In addition, if SELLER becomes aware of an impending labor dispute involving SELLER or any lower tier subcontractor, or any other difficulty in performing the Work, SELLER shall timely notify LOCKHEED XXXXXX, in writing, giving pertinent details. These notifications shall not change any delivery schedule.

  • Time for Performance The term of this SOW Agreement shall begin on and end on _ (the “Initial Term”). The Initial Term may be extended as the parties may agree. The State may terminate this SOW for convenience upon thirty days prior written notice to the Contractor. If the Master Agreement should expire or otherwise terminate prior to the end of the term of this SOW Agreement, this SOW Agreement shall continue to the end of its existing term, unless or until terminated in accordance with the terms of this SOW Agreement, and the Parties acknowledge and agree that the terms of the Master Agreement shall survive and apply to this SOW Agreement.

  • Full Performance The Owner and the Contractor hereby agree to the full performance of the Contract Documents.
