COMPENSATION AND RELATED BENEFITS. Any district School Board employee shall be entitled to illness or injury in-line-of-duty leave when he/she has to be absent from duties because of a personal injury received in the discharge of duty or because of illness from any contagious or infectious disease contracted in School Board work. Illness or injury in-line- of-duty for employees represented by a collective bargaining agent will be defined in the collective bargaining agreement. The following requirements shall be observed:
COMPENSATION AND RELATED BENEFITS. 8.1 Effective July 1, 2018, the salary schedule shall be increased by 2.95%.
8.2 Range/Step Placement
8.2.1 Upon employment, employees may be placed on the salary schedule no higher than step 3.
8.2.2 New employees hired between January 1 and March 1, shall receive a step advancement upon completion of probation.
8.2.3 An eligible permanent employee shall move one step on the salary schedule at the beginning of each fiscal year.
8.2.4 Effective July 1, 1983, those employees off the salary schedule as a result of changing the salary systems shall continue to be eligible for the general increases agreed to by the District and the Association.
8.2.5 When an employee is reclassified, an increase in responsibility shall be recognized by increasing the individual's salary in this position by not less than five (5) percent.
8.2.6 When an employee is moved to a lower range, he shall be placed at that salary which is closest to and below the one he had been receiving in the higher range.
8.3 Hire Date
8.3.1 Hire date is the first day of employment in the District. This date is the basis for determining longevity pay, minus leave of absence time. The date for receiving longevity pay will be adjusted accordingly, so that it is granted after six (6) full years of service.
8.3.2 If an employee starts work on the first to the fifteenth day of a month, then the first of that month shall be considered to be his/her hire date. If an employee starts work after the fifteenth day of the month, his/her hire date shall be considered as having started the first day of the following month.
COMPENSATION AND RELATED BENEFITS. 17.1 Salary Schedule 17.1.1 Effective July 1, 2018, all elements of the current Salary Schedules shall be increased by 2.95%. Enhancements to stipends, summer school program rates, the share rate and the hourly rate shall be effective upon ratification by both parties and shall not be retroactive.

The increase to the salary schedule for additional hours worked and overtime hours shall commence May 1, 2020. In addition, bargaining unit members shall receive a one-time 1.0% off-schedule payment based on the newly ratified 2019-20 salary schedule to be paid in one increment on the July 10, 2020 pay warrant. The payment shall be made to those in active employment with the District on June 1, 2020.

7.2 Effective July 1, 2021, the 2020-21 salary schedule shall be increased by 2.9%. In addition, supervisory employees shall receive a one-time 1.45% off-schedule payment based on the 2021-22 salary schedule. This will be paid on the March 10, 2022 pay warrant. The payment shall be made to those in active employment with the District on February 1, 2022 and for those unit members who retired under PERS or STRS during the 2021-22 work year.
7.3 Upon employment, employees shall be placed within the salary range by the employer. In establishing placement, the Employer may recognize a maximum of two years of similar or related experience.

7.2 Effective July 1, 2019, the salary schedule shall be increased by 1.7%. There shall be a one- time 1.0% off-schedule payment, based on the new 2019-20 salary schedule, to be paid in one
(1) increment on the first available pay warrant.
7.3 Upon employment, employees shall be placed within the salary range by the employer. In establishing placement, the Employer may recognize a maximum of two years of similar or related experience.
COMPENSATION AND RELATED BENEFITS. COMPENSATION AND RELATED BENEFITS. 1. The District’s contribution toward health and welfare shall be increase from $1,382.85 $1,436.35 effective October 1, 2022.
2. Negotiations for other changes in the Collective Bargaining Agreement will occur later in the school year.

Increases to summer school rates, the share rate, over contract rates and the hourly rate shall not be retroactive, and will go into effect on the first work day of the payroll cycle after the on-going salary schedule increase is implemented. In addition, bargaining unit members who are in regular paid status shall receive a one- time 1% off-schedule payment based on the 2022-23 salary schedule. The one-time off- schedule payment shall be made on the first work day of the payroll cycle in which the pay warrant is issued, and to those unit members who are retired under STRS or PERS during the 2022-23 work year.
