Custodial and Maintenance. A. It is expressly understood that except for the provisions of this Article and the provisions of Article I, II, III, VI (Paragraph E), Article XI, XII, and XIX (Subsection “K”) the remaining provisions of this Agreement are not applicable to Custodial and Maintenance/Grounds Employees.
Custodial and Maintenance. The work year for all full-time, twelve-month custodian and maintenance personnel shall consist of two hundred sixty (260) days including paid holidays.
Custodial and Maintenance. Health Dental Vision Disability The disability provisions may be provided through an insurer of the Districts choice or self-insured. The plan structure will generally provide for the following:
a. An employee must fulfill a one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar day waiting period due to the same illness/disability which will be measured from the first day of absence due to the disability and the employee must have exhausted all his/her accumulated sick leave.
b. The plan will provide for coverage up to 60% of the employees regular wages up to a maximum of $1,500 per month.
Custodial and Maintenance. The normal work week will consist of forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday. There shall be a one- half (1/2) hour unpaid lunch period which shall be duty-free, and one (1) paid fifteen (15) minute break daily for all-day custodial and maintenance shift employees. The night shift custodians' work hours shall include a one-half (1/2) hour paid lunch and a paid fifteen (15) minute break daily.
Custodial and Maintenance. 1. a. Overtime for custodial personnel shall be distributed on a rotating basis by seniority, building by building. When building seniority is exhausted, district seniority shall apply. All regulatory guidelines shall apply.
Custodial and Maintenance. Employees Each full time twelve (12) month custodial and maintenance employee shall receive the following paid holidays, namely: New Year's Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Friday after Thanksgiving Memorial Day Christmas Eve July 4th Christmas Day Labor Day
Custodial and Maintenance a) Managing partners will develop shared custodial and maintenance responsibilities with a commitment to increasing efficiency, minimizing costs, and maintaining a high quality standard for the facility’s appearance. Shared responsibilities and specific interior and exterior custodial and maintenance tasks will be handled according to separate custodial and maintenance agreements and a task-based maintenance matrix.
b) Each partner will have the responsibility for maintaining the appearance of their assigned space according to the separate custodial and maintenance agreements and the task-based maintenance matrix.
Custodial and Maintenance employees: one day per month of service per year.
Custodial and Maintenance o Face coverings and gloves must be worn and proper training for COVID-19 should be provided. o Each classroom needs to be properly disinfected after use by students. If schools are using a rotating schedule for students, then this may result in each classroom needing to be cleaned multiple times a day. o Like classrooms, all bathrooms and other common spaces will need to be properly disinfected on a frequent and regular basis. o School districts will determine sanitizing schedules, protocols for cleaning surfaces in all areas of the building, checklists for before and after-school. o In addition, collective bargaining agreements will need to be reviewed and a memorandum of understanding will likely need to be put in place. o The secretarial and clerical employees are often the most visible and most interactive with students, parents and community members. As a result, they should be provided with training and protocols and be prepared to answer many questions. Prior to re- occupancy, provide appropriate PPE and perform a detailed review of the configuration of your office workspaces. o Consider eliminating reception seating areas and require that visitors phone ahead. o Install a plastic partition at the reception area. o Review floorplans and remove or reconfigure seats, furniture and workstations as needed to preserve recommended physical distancing in accordance with ODH and local health guidelines. Reconfigure workstations so that employees do not face each other or establish partitions if facing each other cannot be avoided.
Custodial and Maintenance. Overtime - overtime shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for all time worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any workweek. All work performed on Sundays and Holidays shall be paid at double (2) times the employee's regular hourly rate. Approval shall be by the Superintendent or his designee. Whenever an employee is called in on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday, they will be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours at their overtime rate. Employees who are called in early for snow removal shall be compensated at the overtime rate. There shall be no change in regular shift.
