DEFENCE FORCES LEAVE a. A full-time or part-time team member will be allowed paid time off of up to a maximum of 2 weeks per calendar year to attend Defence Forces approved training camps, and Woolworths will pay the team member the difference between the payment received for their attendance at such training camp and the base rate of pay they would have received during that period. b. To receive payment, a team member must provide Xxxxxxxxxx proof of attendance and proof of the Defence Forces rate of pay and total payment received for the time spent in training. c. Team members seeking to take Defence Forces Leave must provide notice to Woolworths at least 1 month prior to the period of training. The notice should detail the start and finish dates for training. d. Casual team members are entitled to unpaid defence forces leave.

DEFENCE FORCES LEAVE. 40.1 A full-time or part-time employee shall be allowed leave of up to two weeks maximum per calendar year to attend Defence Forces approved training camps. 40.2 During such leave full-time and part-time employees who are required to attend full-time training shall be paid an amount equal to the difference between the payment received in respect of their attendance at camp and the amount of minimum weekly wages they would have received for working ordinary time during that period. 40.3 To receive payment, an employee shall provide the Employer proof of attendance and proof of the Defence Forces rate of pay and total payment received for the time spent training. 40.4 Employees seeking to take Defence Force Leave must provide notice to the Employer at least one month prior to the period of training. The notice should detail the start and finish dates for training.
DEFENCE FORCES LEAVE. 40.1. An employee who is a member of the Defence Forces Reserves or the Australian Cadet Forces will be entitled to 14 days defence force leave per year and will be granted paid leave on the following basis: 40.1.1. To attend annual training camp the employee will be granted leave with pay; 40.1.2. To attend a class or course, the employee's pay will be made up to employee's average pay over the three months immediately prior to the leave. 40.2. Any leave applied for in addition to the provisions of this clause will be processed through negotiations between the parties.

(a) Team members seeking to take defence forces leave must apply for leave with at least one month’s written notice prior to the period of training. The notice must detail the start and finish dates of the training. (b) To receive payment for defence forces leave, the team member must provide the Company with proof of attendance and proof of the Defence Forces Reserve rate of pay and total payment received for time spent in training.
DEFENCE FORCES LEAVE. Employees are entitled to up to 20 days paid annual training leave per calendar leave (pro- rata for part-time and casual employees). Such leave is non-cumulative. Part-time and casual employees must complete 12 months service before becoming eligible for such paid leave. • Employees are entitled to special instruction (induction) leave of 10 days per calendar leave (pro-rata for part-time and casual employees). Such leave is non-cumulative. Part- time and casual employees must complete 12 months service before becoming eligible for such paid leave. • Employees are required to provide written confirmation and verification of the training or special instruction to be undertaken. • Employees will be granted leave with pay for enlistment or medical purposes without limit, provided that special instruction leave entitlements have been exhausted.
DEFENCE FORCES LEAVE. An employee who is a member of the Defence Reserve Forces shall be entitled to leave for the purpose of attending an annual training camp of fourteen calendar days duration.

DEFENCE FORCES LEAVE. An employee may apply for leave to attend training with the Australian Defence Force and may be granted up to 2 weeks paid leave (at the employee’s base rate excluding overtime, shift and other allowances) for this purpose, providing that: (a) the employee makes available satisfactory evidence of having completed at least the equivalent amount of defence force training in his/her own time in the preceding 12 months; and, (b) the employee provides satisfactory evidence of having attended the training for the approved period of leave.
DEFENCE FORCES LEAVE. As part of Council’s commitment to the local community, an employee who is a volunteer member of Reservist force of the Royal Australian Army, Navy or Air Force. Will be entitled leave to enable the employee to fulfil an obligation to the relevant organisation (attend requisite training camps or courses) and in the event of an emergency.
DEFENCE FORCES LEAVE. (a) All staff members are entitled to unpaid leave. (b) All staff members, other than casual staff, who are employed on a contract of employment for a period greater than one year, or have cumulative continuous employment with the University for more than one year, are deemed eligible for salary supplementation. Salary supplementation will be provided for a period of up to four (4) weeks per financial year. However, staff engaged in initial recruit training are eligible for salary supplementation for a period of up to five (5) weeks.
