GUILD RECOGNITION. 1.1 GUILD RECOGNITION The Employer recognizes the Guild as the exclusive bargaining representative for all full-time and regular part-time fully commissioned police officers and sergeants employed by the City of Xxxxxx Lake, excluding supervisors, confidential employees, and all other employees of the employer. The language of this Section does not waive and is not a bar to the Guild’s right to petition PERC for the inclusion of other classifications (new or current) in the Guild. 1.2 Temporary employees, as defined in the City's Civil Service Rules are not covered by this Agreement unless otherwise adjudicated under WAC 000-00-000. No temporary employee may work more than 800 hours in any calendar year without mutual agreement between the Guild and the Police Chief. 1.3 The City agrees to not hire a temporary employee to displace or replace a current full- time or regular part-time member of the bargaining unit.

These employees shall accrue pro-rated paid leaves (sick, holiday, vacation); shall not receive Article 17 benefits, except as required by statute, and shall only be eligible for overtime after working forty (40) hours in a 7-day work week.
GUILD RECOGNITION. 1.1 The City recognizes the Guild as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the purposes of establishing wages, hours, and working conditions of employment for all fully commissioned employees of the Bellingham Police Department. Excluded from this agreement are the Chief, Deputy Chiefs, Captains, Lieutenants and all non- commissioned employees of the Department. 1.2 All members of the bargaining unit who are members of the Guild at the signing of this agreement shall remain members of the Guild during the term of this agreement. 1.3 Employees may individually and voluntarily certify in writing to the Employer that they authorize deductions of Guild initiation fees and dues, or agency shop equivalent. Such amounts shall thereafter be deducted by the City and remitted to the Guild. 1.4 The City agrees not to discriminate against any employee for exercising his/her legal rights to organize and bargain collectively under RCW Chapter 41.56.010 et seq. Any alleged violation of this section is not subject to grievance arbitration if taken to the PERC. 1.5 Both parties agree that they will not unlawfully discriminate against any employee because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, disability, or sexual orientation except for bona fide occupational qualifications. 1.6 At the time of signing of this agreement, if employees have rights and privileges not mentioned herein, such rights and privileges shall continue as maintenance of standards for the duration of this Agreement. 1.7 The Guild agrees to defend, indemnify and hold the City harmless against any and all claims, suits, orders, and judgments brought and issued against the City as a result of any action taken or not taken by the City in regards to Guild dues and/or fees, other than claims brought by the Guild to enforce this Article.

Table E (or the representation that the institution makes of it) will include all the educational components agreed in table A and, if there were changes to the study programme abroad, in table C. The actual start and end dates of the study period will be included according to the following definitions: The start date of the study period is the first day the student has been present at the receiving institution, for example, for the first course, for a welcoming event organised by the host institution or for language and intercultural courses. The end date of the study period is the last day the student has been present at the receiving institution and not his actual date of departure. This is, for example, the end of exams period, courses or mandatory sitting period. Following the receipt of the Transcript of Records from the receiving institution, the sending institution commits to provide to the student a Transcript of Records, without further requirements from the student, and normally within five weeks. The sending institution's Transcript of Records must include at least the information listed in table F (the recognition outcomes) and attach the receiving institution's Transcript of Record.   • PURPOSE AND RECOGNITION 1.01 The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory employment relations between the Employer and the Union.   • RECOGNITION OF UNION Clause 2.01 The Employer hereby recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agency for all employees of Greater Sudbury Hydro Plus Incorporated in respect of hours of work, wages and working conditions save and except non-union supervisors, persons above the rank of non-union supervisor, and staff employed in a confidential capacity in matters relating to Labour Relations.
