In-School Staffing Advisory Committee a) Each school shall have an In-school Staffing Advisory Committee. The Committee shall normally hold its first meeting within the first two (2) weeks of the school year. This Committee shall include the Principal, the Workplace Xxxxxxx and an appropriate number of in-school staff representatives elected by the teachers in the school. The number of staff representatives shall be determined by the staff in consultation with the Principal. b) The In-school Staffing Advisory Committee shall be an advisory body to the Principal in: i) determining the utilization of the teaching staff in the school, including but not limited to the proportionate assignment of part-time and full-time teachers. In-School Staffing Advisory Committee a) Each school shall have an In-school Staffing Advisory Committee. The election of the Committee shall be held prior to, or on, the Re-organization PA Day. The term of the Committee shall be November 1st – October 31st. The Committee shall normally hold its first meeting by the end of November, and hold meetings as needed, including holding meetings in accordance with the G-32 memo. This Committee shall include the Principal, the Workplace Xxxxxxx and an appropriate number of in-school staff representatives elected by the teachers in the school. The Principal shall determine staff assignments in consultation with the In-School Staffing Advisory Committee, having regard for the class size guidelines developed by the EJSC and subject to the Principal’s responsibilities pursuant to 13.02 d) below; ii) determining the equitable distribution of instructional time, planning time and supervision time; including reviewing the draft supervision schedule in June for the following school year; iii) monitoring the level of integration of pupils with exceptionalities and ELL needs into regular classroom programs; iv) considering organizational proposals and/or suggestions submitted by staff member(s) to the committee; v) reviewing the planned staff meeting schedule prior to the consultation with staff as per Article 30; vi) receiving recommendations for class sizes and ranges from the Elementary Joint Staffing Committee; vii) reviewing the application of the surplus process; and viii) any other relevant issues. c) The In-school Staffing Advisory Committee's Terms of Reference shall be in accordance with Appendix B. d) It is recognized that the Principal, subject to the authority of the Board and its Administration, has the responsibilities and duties as outlined under the Education Act and Regulations. Should the teachers on the In-School Staffing Advisory Committee disagree with the Principal, the teachers may appeal to the Superintendent of Education whose decision shall be final.
In-School Staffing Advisory Committee. The In-school Staffing Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the Principal. The In-school Staffing Advisory Committee should review and ensure that there is a clear understanding of the G-32 memo, the G-32 FAQ's, the E-1 memo and Article 13.02 of the Collective Agreement. The following effective practices have been developed through the Joint Liaison Committee in order to assist the In-school Staffing Advisory Committee in the implementation of Article 13.02 of the Collective Agreement. • In addition to the Principal and Xxxxxxx, membership on the In- school Staffing Advisory Committee should represent the size of the school, the diversity of the school organization, including representation by division, specialty and support teachers. After consultation between the Principal and the Xxxxxxx regarding the representation on the Committee, the Xxxxxxx facilitates the election of staff representatives by the teachers in the school. • A member of the committee, other than the Principal or Xxxxxxx, normally acts as chair. • The Chair of the Committee, in conjunction with the Committee members, will be responsible for the development of the agenda. A copy of the agenda should be circulated to members of the Committee in advance of the meeting. • A summary of recommendations should be recorded by a member of the Committee, on a rotating basis, to ensure that the Committee members have a common understanding. This summary should be reviewed at the start of each subsequent meeting. In-school Staffing Advisory Committee - Terms of Reference • Given the timelines inherent in the E-1 and G-32 memos, the Principal will provide the following information to the Committee in a timely manner: o enrolment projections by grade o actual enrolment by grade (for September Reorganization only) o staffing allocation received from Superintendent in each staffing category (classroom teacher, ESL, guidance, ISSP, library, planning time, etc.)

At least one (1) day prior to any meeting, members of the Committee shall receive all relevant data necessary to assist the Committee in its mandate. (e) The Committee meetings will not result in release time costs to either party. (f) Nothing in this Article precludes the Principal from seeking input from teachers in Positions of Responsibility, individually or as a group, on the staffing needs of the school.

(e) The Committee will review the method of staffing the school during the school year, including potential redundancy declarations, transfers, and the posting of vacancies. (f) The Committee shall meet at least three (3) times per year and shall report on its activities to the full school staff at the staff meeting next following any meeting of the In-School Staffing Advisory Committee. (g) The Committee will review the in-school staffing and will report, in writing, areas of concern and/or difficulty to the Staff Allocation Committee.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements: (i) Written guidelines that establish the formation and composition of the Advisory Committee, terms of service for members, contingency for removal or resignation of members, a schedule of meetings, and any other administrative details; (ii) Composition that includes at least an equal number of local representatives as state representatives; (iii) A process for receiving input from Subdivisions and other communities regarding how the opioid crisis is affecting their communities, their abatement needs, and proposals for abatement strategies and responses; and (iv) A process by which Advisory Committee recommendations for expenditures for Opioid Remediation will be made to and considered by the appropriate state agencies.

  • Technical Committee 1. The Technical Committee shall comprise: (a) nine experts representing different regions of the Agreement Area, in accordance with a balanced geographical distribution; (b) one representative from the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), one from the International Waterfowl and Wetlands Research Bureau (IWRB) and one from the International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC); and (c) one expert from each of the following fields: rural economics, game management, and environmental law. The procedure for the appointment of the experts, the term of their appointment and the procedure for designation of the Chairman of the Technical Committee shall be determined by the Meeting of the Parties. The Chairman may admit a maximum of four observers from specialized international inter- governmental and non-governmental organizations. 2. Unless the Meeting of the Parties decides otherwise, meetings of the Technical Committee shall be convened by the Agreement secretariat in conjunction with each ordinary session of the Meeting of the Parties and at least once between ordinary sessions of the Meeting of the Parties. 3. The Technical Committee shall: (a) provide scientific and technical advice and information to the Meeting of the Parties and, through the Agreement secretariat, to Parties; (b) make recommendations to the Meeting of the Parties concerning the Action Plan, implementation of the Agreement and further research to be carried out; (c) prepare for each ordinary session of the Meeting of the Parties a report on its activities, which shall be submitted to the Agreement secretariat not less than one hundred and twenty days before the session of the Meeting of the Parties, and copies shall be circulated forthwith by the Agreement secretariat to the Parties; and (d) carry out any other tasks referred to it by the Meeting of the Parties. 4. Where in the opinion of the Technical Committee there has arisen an emergency which requires the adoption of immediate measures to avoid deterioration of the conservation status of one or more migratory waterbird species, the Technical Committee may request the Agreement secretariat to convene urgently a meeting of the Parties concerned. These Parties shall meet as soon as possible thereafter to establish rapidly a mechanism to give protection to the species identified as being subject to particularly adverse threat. Where a recommendation has been adopted at such a meeting, the Parties concerned shall inform each other and the Agreement secretariat of measures they have taken to implement it, or of the reasons why the recommendation could not be implemented. 5. The Technical Committee may establish such working groups as may be necessary to deal with specific tasks.

  • Review Committee A Committee of six members, three each from the Guild and shall be named. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be put before this Committee for resolution. When the Committee is unable to resolve an issue it is agreed that a third party will be named by mutual agreement of the parties to provide Arbitration for binding resolution. Failing such an appointment by the Committee either party may refer it to arbitration under Article of the Collective Agreement.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC The goal of this subtask is to create an advisory committee for this Agreement. The TAC should be composed of diverse professionals. The composition will vary depending on interest, availability, and need. TAC members will serve at the CAM’s discretion. The purpose of the TAC is to: • Provide guidance in project direction. The guidance may include scope and methodologies, timing, and coordination with other projects. The guidance may be based on: o Technical area expertise; o Knowledge of market applications; or o Linkages between the agreement work and other past, present, or future projects (both public and private sectors) that TAC members are aware of in a particular area. • Review products and provide recommendations for needed product adjustments, refinements, or enhancements. • Evaluate the tangible benefits of the project to the state of California, and provide recommendations as needed to enhance the benefits. • Provide recommendations regarding information dissemination, market pathways, or commercialization strategies relevant to the project products. The TAC may be composed of qualified professionals spanning the following types of disciplines: • Researchers knowledgeable about the project subject matter; • Members of trades that will apply the results of the project (e.g., designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and trade representatives); • Public interest market transformation implementers; • Product developers relevant to the project; • U.S. Department of Energy research managers, or experts from other federal or state agencies relevant to the project; • Public interest environmental groups; • Utility representatives; • Air district staff; and • Members of relevant technical society committees. • Prepare a List of Potential TAC Members that includes the names, companies, physical and electronic addresses, and phone numbers of potential members. The list will be discussed at the Kick-off meeting, and a schedule for recruiting members and holding the first TAC meeting will be developed. • Recruit TAC members.   • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Oversight Committee The Company and Union shall each appoint three members to be part of an Oversight Committee. The Oversight Committee will attempt to resolve any issues that may arise regarding this Letter of Agreement within forty-five (45) days. Issues that the Oversight Committee cannot resolve will be subject to the party’s grievance procedure Subsection 102.3(a)(2) timelines will be waived for the forty-five (45) day period.

  • Management Committee 6.1 There shall be constituted a committee to be called the Management Committee with functions as stated herein below. 6.2 Government shall nominate two (2) members representing Government in the Management Committee, whereas each Company constituting the Contractor shall nominate one (1) member each to represent Company in the Management Committee provided that in case the Contractor constitutes only one Company, that Company shall have two (2) members. The Parties shall nominate the members to the Management Committee within thirty (30) days of the Effective Date. 6.3 Each Party may nominate alternate members with full authority to act in the absence and on behalf of the members nominated under Article 6.2 and may, at any time, nominate another member or alternate member to replace any member nominated earlier by notice to other members of the Management Committee. 6.4 One representative of the Government shall be designated as the Chairman of the Management Committee and the second representative of the Government shall be designated as the Deputy Chairman. The member of the Operator, or the member designated by the Operator where Operator has two (2) members in the Management Committee shall be designated as the Secretary of the Committee. 6.5 Operator on behalf of the Contractor with the approval of Operating Committee, if constituted under the Article 7.4, or in case of a single Party constituting the Contractor, then that Party shall submit following matters to the Management Committee for review and it shall have advisory functions: (a) the annual Work Programmes and Budgets in respect of Exploration Operations and any revisions or modifications thereto; (b) annual work progress and costs incurred thereon; (c) proposals for surrender or relinquishment of any part of the Contract Area by the Contractor; (d) proposals for an Appraisal Programme or revisions or additions thereto and the declaration of a Discovery as a Commercial Discovery; (e) any other matter required by the terms of this Contract to be submitted to it for review or advice; and (f) any other matter which the Contractor decides to submit for review or advice including matters concerning inter-Party relationships. 6.6 The following matters shall be submitted by Operator on behalf of the Contractor with the approval of Operating Committee, if constituted under the Article 7.4, or in case of single Party constituting the Contractor, then by that Party to the Management Committee for approval: (a) Annual Work Programmes and Budgets in respect of Development Operations and Production Operations and any modifications or revisions thereto; (b) proposals for the approval of development plans as may be required under this Contract, or modifications or revisions to a Development Plan; (c) determination of a Development Area; (d) appointment of auditors along with scope of audit, approval and adoption of audited report submitted under Article 25.4.3; (e) collaboration with licensees or contractors of other areas; (f) claims or settlement of claims for or on behalf of or against the Contractor in excess of limits fixed by the Management Committee from time to time; (g) proposal about abandonment plan/Site Restoration as required to be submitted under Article 14.10; (h) any other matter required by the terms of this Contract to be submitted for the approval of the Management Committee; (i) any other matter which the Contractor decides to submit to it; and (j) any matter, which Government refers to the Management Committee for its consideration and reasoned opinion. 6.7 Unless agreed otherwise by all the members of the Management Committee, the Management Committee shall meet at least once every six (6) months during the Exploration Period and thereafter at least once every three (3) months or more frequently at the request of any member. The Secretary, with the approval of the Chairman, shall convene each meeting by notifying the members twenty eight (28) days prior to such a meeting (or a shorter period of notice if the members unanimously so agree) of the time and place of such meeting and the purpose thereof and shall include in such notice a provisional agenda for such meeting. The Chairman shall be responsible for processing the final agenda for such meeting and the agenda shall include all items of business requested by the members to be included, provided such requests are received by the Secretary at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the meeting. The Secretary shall forward the agenda to the members at least seven (7) Business Days prior to the date fixed for the meeting. Matters not included in the agenda may be taken up at the meeting by any member with the unanimous consent of all the members whether present or not present at the meeting. 6.8 The Chairman or the Deputy Chairman, as may be the case, shall preside over the meetings of the Management Committee and, in their absence, any other member representing Government and present shall preside over the meetings. 6.9 Secretary to the Management Committee shall be responsible, inter alia, for preparation of the minutes of every meeting in the English language and provision to every member of the Management Committee with two (2) copies of the minutes approved by the Chairman within three (3) Business Days of the meeting. Unless agreed otherwise by all the members of the Management Committee, the minutes of a meeting shall be finalised by the Management Committee within three (3)
