Labor Management Council. The parties agree to establish a Labor-Management Council composed of members to be designated by the Union and the Office of the State Employer. Composition of the Council shall consist of up to six (6) members designated by the Union and up to six (6) members designated by the Office of the State Employer. No more than two (2) employee members shall be entitled to attend from each of the following departments: Community Health, Department of Human Services, Military and Veterans Affairs, or Corrections. No more than one employee member shall be entitled to attend from any one agency. If the agenda does not contain items pertinent to one of these departments, the representative from that department shall not attend. All members who attend shall be knowledgeable about the agenda items to be discussed. Members of the Council shall make a good faith effort to attend scheduled meetings. This Council shall meet at agreed times and places, but at least twice yearly, if requested by either party, to examine and attempt to resolve issues of interdepartmental impact and/or statewide concerns. Proposed agenda items will be exchanged by the parties at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of a scheduled meeting. The Office of the State Employer and Council 25 shall mutually agree on the agenda and shall each send the agreed upon agenda to its representatives at least seven (7) calendar days in advance of the meeting. Health and safety concerns of an interdepartmental nature shall be one of the appropriate subjects for discussion at these meetings. Expenses of the Council: employee members will be granted administrative leave for attendance at Council meetings. Operating expenses such as clerical work, copying and distribution of materials will be borne by the Employer. Other costs, such as consultants, shall be shared equally unless otherwise agreed and not be incurred without mutual consent.
Labor Management Council. The Superintendent shall meet once a month with the Association President or his/her designee and Association Representatives or their designees at the request of either party to discuss matters of concern to either or both parties.
Labor Management Council. 16.1 The District and Association share a common ongoing commitment to achieving the highest level of instructional quality for all students as articulated in District goals and performance measures. The parties also share a common belief that instructional quality will be a product of a specific way of doing business: working together as partners rather than as competitive adversaries. To be effective and authentic partners, the parties must share authority, responsibility and accountability for decisions about instructional quality, and owe each other a duty to act under the highest standards of good faith for the common benefit of all partners.
Labor Management Council. There shall be a committee consisting of an equal number of Union and University representatives, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by the parties. The committee will meet at least two (2) times per year. The committee will be co-chaired by a union and a University representative.
Labor Management Council. The Labor Management Council (LMC) will be an integral component of the interest-based problem-solving model as a forum for the sharing of information and discussion of important issues in the Santa Xxxxx-Xxxxxx School District. The LMC shall work to identify and present potential problems and seek to resolve employee/administration conflicts/disputes on appropriate non-bargainable issues. The LMC will build and model a climate of ongoing problem-solving that enhances outcomes for both parties.
Labor Management Council.
Section 21.1 Continuation of Labor Management Council It is agreed that there shall be established or continued in effect a Labor Management Council composed to the business agent and representatives of the Union and of management selected as hereinafter set forth.
Labor Management Council. As an alternative to the Meet and Confer Council, EM-R and the School Board have created a Labor Management Council to seek resolution of mutual concerns.
Labor Management Council. The parties reiterate their mutual commitment to quality patient care. In a joint effort to ensure optimal nursing care and maintain professional standards, a Labor Management Council shall be established to examine nursing practice, staffing and payroll issues, stat of outstanding grievances that are not disciplinary, notices and updates regarding unit restructures, nursing initiatives (which could include Magnet status and pathways) and Medical Center workplace process improvement projects. Agendas will be developed jointly along with an annual calendar scheduling routine outline updates (where possible). Failure of the Labor Management Council to agree on a matter will not be grievable and will not be deemed to be a reopener of the Agreement. The Association shall appoint five (5) members to the Council, at least three
Labor Management Council. The Employer and the Union agree that it is the best interest of sound management relations and for the growth and economic progress of the Employer and its Employees that a periodic exchange of ideas should be initiated between the Union and Management. The Labor Management Council shall meet at least quarterly to discuss changes that may be under consideration by the Employer or those occurring in the industry. The Council shall consider and discuss changes planned by the Employer as they affect the Employees. It will serve the purpose of answering questions and eliminating rumors and misunderstandings. It will provide ways and means for communicating information as to how these changes will be put in effect. Union representation on the Council will consist of four (4) Union Stewards. The Business Agent of OPEIU Local 39 may also attend.
Labor Management Council. A. There shall be a Labor/Management Council that shall meet to discuss working conditions and employee concerns not otherwise contained in the current Agreement. Except by mutual agreement, the Council shall consist of representatives for the Association and the administration.
B. By mutual agreement, a recording secretary shall be appointed to reduce to written form any obligations accepted by either or both parties insofar as problem resolution is concerned. A copy of such information shall be offered to each party.
