LEAVE ACCRUAL AND USAGE. There shall be no leave time accrual for employees in no-pay status. Non-exempt employees may have accrued leave deducted in fifteen (15) minute increments. Exempt employees may have accrued leave deducted only in full shift increments.
LEAVE ACCRUAL AND USAGE. ‌ 17.1. All leave accruals for employees represented by the Association shall be based on the applicable work week (e.g. fifty-six (56)-hour duty schedule or forty (40)- hour duty schedule) as identified in Chapter 25 of the Monterey City Code. 17.2. Leave balances as of October 1, 1999, shall not be converted and accrual and use rates shall be based upon the assigned work schedule of a forty (40) or fifty- six (56) hour work week. 17.3. Employees moving between a forty (40)-hour per week and a fifty-six (56)-hour per week schedule convert vacation balances using a conversion factor of 1.4. 17.4. Vacation/Entitlement 17.4.1. Employee entitlement of vacation hours shall be in accordance with Municipal Code Section 25.12.01. 17.4.2. Employees with more than twenty (20) years of service shall accrue annual vacation leave at the following rates: • For those on a forty (40)-hour week: 184 hours annually • For those on a fifty-six (56)-hour week: 256 hours annually 17.4.3. Vacation shall not accrue in excess of 320 or 448 hours. Once an employee reaches this accrual limit, the employee shall not accrue additional vacation. Vacation accrual based on the employeesaccrual rates shall commence only after an employee has utilized vacation and accrual banks are below the 320 or 448 maximum allowed. Employees may cash-out vacation accrual in excess of 280 or 392 hours at the end of the calendar year in accordance with a procedure set by the Finance Director. Vacation accruals may be cashed out upon separation from City employment.

  • Leave Accrual After the first 30 days of active military service in any one calendar year, employees shall not accrue City-paid vacation, holiday, or sick leave benefits or other forms of paid leave; provided, however, that any public employee on military leave for intermittent training periods shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick, and holiday leave up to a maximum period of 180 cumulative days per calendar year as if the employee had not been on military leave.

  • Vacation Accrual Rates Laid off employees who are re-employed shall have the vacation accrual rate they held immediately prior to layoff restored.

  • Sick Leave Accrual All eligible employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per pay period of continuous employment beginning with their date of eligibility. Eligible employees being paid for less than a full eighty (80) hour pay period shall have sick leave accruals pro-rated in accord with the schedule set forth in Appendix D.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual Rate Schedule Full Years of Service Hours Per Year

  • Leave Usage Full shift absences on vacation, sick leave, compensating time off, or holiday in lieu taken by employees on a scheduled twelve-hour workshift shall result in the deduction of twelve (12) hours from the employees’ accrued leave balances.

  • Maximum Accrual Vacation credit may be accumulated to a maximum that can be earned in four (4) years. Further accumulation will not continue when the maximum is reached. When an employee’s vacation reaches the maximum level, and if the employee has been denied vacation during the twelve (12) months, the employee will be paid for the time denied but no more than eighty (80) hours in a pay period. 80 hours 320 hours 120 hours 480 hours 160 hours 640 hours 180 hours 720 hours 200 hours 800 hours 240 hours 960 hours

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Sick Leave Usage 1. Sick leave may be used by an employee when sick, injured, or quarantined. Also sick leave may be used on the occasion of an illness in the employee's family, where a need can be shown. 2. In computing compensation payable for sick leave, the compensation paid shall be the amount the employee would earn during the sick leave period if working at their current rate of pay and work schedule without the inclusion of overtime earnings.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation (a) An employee is eligible to accumulate sick leave with full pay at the rate of 16 working hours for each 173 1/3 hours of service. (b) The maximum number of days of sick leave which may be awarded to an employee during any consecutive twenty (20) year period of service shall not exceed 3840 hours.

  • Interest Accrual Each Class of Notes will accrue interest on its Note Balance for each Interest Period until the Note Balance has been paid in full at a rate per annum equal to its Note Interest Rate for that Interest Period. Interest on the Class A-1 and Class A-2b Notes will be calculated for each Interest Period on the basis of the actual number of days in the Interest Period and a 360-day year. Interest on the Notes (other than the Class A-1 and Class A-2b Notes) for each Interest Period will be calculated on the basis of a 360-day year consisting of twelve 30-day months. Interest on each Note for each Interest Period will be due and payable on the related Payment Date.
