LONGEVITY BENEFITS. Section 1. All members who have been employed with the City on a regular, continuous basis in a budgeted position for a minimum of five years or have completed their fifth year of employment by the end of the calendar year and who are employed on December 1 are eligible to receive the 1% Longevity Pay Bonus. The 1% Longevity Pay Bonus is a one-time payment each year at the rate of 1% of December 1 annual base salary. Any member not in pay status on December 1 will receive the benefit upon returning to pay status.
LONGEVITY BENEFITS. All eligible Fire Department employees shall be entitled to longevity benefits according to the following schedule for the total service in the City of Chillicothe: Five years, but less than ten years of service $800.00 Ten years, but less than fifteen years of service $950.00 Fifteen years, but less than twenty years of service $1,100.00 Twenty years, but less than twenty-five years of service $1,250.00 Twenty-five or more years of service $1,400.00 Longevity benefit qualifications shall begin on the anniversary date of the employment with the city and shall be payable December 1 of each year. However, if an employee’s anniversary date falls in the month of December and provided there is no reason to anticipate he shall not complete the month’s work, he shall also be paid longevity benefits on December 1 as long as years of service will be satisfied as of his December anniversary date.

LONGEVITY BENEFITS. (a) Following four (4) years of full-time employment, regular full-time members of the Police Division shall be eligible to receive, in addition to their regular wage, a sum in the amount as indicated below. LONGEVITY BENEFITS. An increment of 2.5% salary for a twelve (12) month, eight (8) hours per day, full-time employee at the end of 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years respectively, of satisfactory service shall be added to the employee’s annual salary. The longevity increment for those employees employed less than twelve (12) months or less than eight (8) hours per day, will be prorated in accordance with the number of months and/or hours of regular employment. In no case will a full-time employee, employed prior to 07/01/89 receive less than $425.00 per longevity increment. An employee who receives a summary evaluation of “Not Satisfactory” will not be advanced on the salary schedule until a regularly scheduled evaluation report is carried out and he/she is rated at least “Satisfactory”. If a “Short Event” extends past the above hour definition, the employee shall be paid the “Long Event” rate. In the event of a “no show” or cancellation of an event, if the employee was required to attend for any amount of time, he/she shall be paid a minimum of fifteen dollars ($15.00).
LONGEVITY BENEFITS. An employee who has completed continuous full time years of service with the Town shall receive annual longevity pay in accordance with the following schedule: a. Five years or more but less than ten - $300.
