Moving Expense. Moving expense will be authorized and paid by the Employer for employees when the transfer has been initiated by the Employer. Moving expenses will be reimbursed according to procedures established by the Superintendent. Moving expenses will be determined by obtaining three bids from licensed moving companies, who are authorized to operate in this state by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. Moving expenses will not be granted when the transfer is at the request of the individual or the initial move of the cadets upon graduation and assignment from the Academy.
Moving Expense. The employees covered by this Agreement will be governed by the provisions as set out in Appendix “2”.
Moving Expense. When it is deemed necessary by the Company and the employee agrees to move to a new residence, the Company shall furnish an insured carrier in the moving business to transport the employee's household articles, furniture and such personal effects as may be necessary to be packed with the household articles and furniture to the new address. In the event that such employee cannot immediately find a suitable location to which to move his/her family, the Company will pay only the employee’s individual reasonable living expenses at his/her new headquarters for a period not to exceed fourteen (14) calendar days. The section above will only apply when an employee’s headquarters is changed at the request of the Company. That is, when an employee initiates a change of headquarters under the provisions of an applicable Local Agreement, the Company will not be required to pay either moving or living expenses.
Moving Expense. Teachers who are compelled, other than as part of the school day, to move from one building to another building shall be compensated at the rate of $20.50 per hour in 2012-2013, $20.50 per hour in 2013-2014 and $20.50 per hour in 2014-2015, upon their certification of hours spent moving, which hours shall not exceed a total of six (6) without written approval from the Superintendent or his designee. No other compensation shall be available to teachers for moving and/or setting up their classroom(s). Teachers who move on a voluntary basis shall not be entitled to payment. * Plus $30.00 per teacher. **The Board of Education shall only be responsible for paying $1,300 of this stipend. The remaining $1,300 shall be paid by the military. In the event the military does not pay $1,300, the Board will still only pay $1,300 as the stipend. ***Plus $35.00 per teacher
Moving Expense. Section 21.1 The Company shall provide a paid move to Pilots whom are required to move as a result of being assigned to a base other than where the Pilot has established his residence, provided that the Pilot moves within a fifty (50) mile radius of his new base and the new base is at least fifty (50) miles away from the previously assigned base. All moving expense will be governed by IRS Publication 521.
Section 21.2 In order to receive a Company paid move, Pilots must complete such move within six (6) months from the date of the new assignment and shall be entitled to the following reimbursement upon presentation of reasonable documentation:
A. Actual moving expenses, including insurance and normal packing charges, for normal household effects, up to a maximum of $3500.00.
Section 21.3 Pilots shall be allowed the following en route expenses when properly substantiated by receipts during the period of en-route travel:
A. For Pilot only - $36.00/day
B. For Pilot and family - $72.00/day The period of en-route travel shall continue after arrival until the day the household effects arrive or until the end of the fifth day, whichever comes first.
Section 21.4 For the purpose of determining necessary travel time, the Company will allow one (1) travel day for each five hundred (500) miles or fraction thereof, to a maximum of five (5) travel days when driving a vehicle. The Pilot is expected to move during his days off and be prepared to work on his regular work shift. The most direct AAA mileage between the two (2) cities will determine travel time.
Section 21.5 In addition to moving expenses, such Pilot will be reimbursed at the IRS relocation rate for one vehicle driven to the new location.
Section 21.6 To be eligible to obtain reimbursement from the Company, a Pilot must meet the requirements of Section 21.1 of this Article and have completed his probationary period.
Moving Expense. Whenever, in the opinion of the City Manager, it is necessary to recruit qualified employees from outside the City, such employee shall be reimbursed for actual necessary expenses under the following conditions:
A. The employee must be appointed to a position for which the City Manager certifies that such expenditure is necessary to recruit qualified employees.
B. The maximum lump sum payment for an employee shall be $5,000, plus airfare for the employee and one family member.
Moving Expense. In the event that employees are moved by the Company from one garage to another garage on account of work being moved to that particular garage, financial assistance will be allowed to married employees in the amount of $500 and to unmarried employees in the amount of $250, such amount to be payable at the time the employee reports for work at the new location. In addition, the employee so moved will be allowed up to five working days (40 hours) with no loss of earnings in effecting their relocation. Such employee will report to work at the new location upon completion of the five days referred to above. This does not apply to situations where the garage itself moves from one physical location to another.
Moving Expense. 32.1 Regular, full-time bargaining unit employees shall be eligible for reimbursement of relocation expenses incurred as the result of approved transfers to a new work location that is at least 50 miles farther (one way) from his/her old residence than the old residence was from his/her former place of work in accordance with the Company Relocation Policy.
Moving Expense. 1. It is the policy of PHI to assist and ease the financial and other burdens associated with the reasonable expenses of relocation. This policy will provide uniform and equitable treatment regardless of work location within the United States.
2. Pilots who relocate at the request of the Employer who are required to live within one (1) hour of the job location shall be reimbursed under this policy, however, a move will only be paid if it results in the Employer not having to provide the pilot with Employer-provided accommodations at his new work location. In the event the Employer reimburses a pilot for relocation to a new job assignment and that job contract later ends, the Employer will reimburse the pilot's relocation to his previous domicile or his next assignment.
3. The Human Resources Department will assist relocating pilots to facilitate their move.
4. Eligible pilots will be reimbursed for reasonable expenses of moving as follows:
A. Packing, insuring, shipping, unpacking and placement of household personal effects and reasonable items of furniture, furnishings, clothing, appliances, tools and equipment from the principal place of residence to the new home up to a maximum of 12,000 pounds. Special handling items as defined by the moving company will not be eligible for reimbursement (e.g.- transportation of pets/animals, boats, automobiles, motorcycles and heavy shop equipment).
B. Automobile(s) will not be transported as part of the household goods move. PHI will pay the cost of driving one vehicle per family by the most direct AAA highway mileage route at the current mileage rate established by the IRS. No expenses will be paid for a second vehicle.
C. Transportation of pilot and family at the time of the move: o Mileage at current IRS rate by the most direct AAA highway mileage route from home to home o Pilots will be allowed the following enroute expenses when properly substantiated by receipts during the period of enroute travel:
I. For pilot only - $30.00/day
II. For pilot and Spouse - $60.00/day
III. For each dependent child - $15.00/day o The period of enroute travel shall continue after arrival until the day the household effects arrive or until the end of the fifth (5th) day, whichever comes first.
