Labor Management Committee (LMC). A. A Labor/Management Committee (“LMC” or “Committee”) will be formed consisting of administrators selected by the Director of Business and Operations and one (1) representative from each of the classification series areas selected by the Union, in addition to an OAPSE representative. The function of the LMC shall be to provide a collaborative environment to confer on matters of mutual concern, to keep both parties informed of changes and developments caused by conditions other than those directly covered by the Agreement, and to discuss potential problems in an effort to keep such matters from becoming major in scope.
Labor Management Committee (LMC). A. The Superintendent and another administrator of his choice and two (2) members appointed by the Association President shall meet at least once in the months of September, November, January, and April to attempt to resolve non-contractual issues and to avoid possible misunderstandings or grievances. Either party may convene a meeting in the other months during the school year. Meeting times, dates and length of meetings shall be established by mutual agreement.
Labor Management Committee (LMC). The purpose of the LMC shall be to address unresolved issues from the building advisory committees, as well as to address district-wide issues.
Labor Management Committee (LMC). The City and the Union shall each appoint not less than two (2) members to an LMC. The LMC shall meet when mutually agreed by the parties at a mutually convenient time and place to discuss any matters pertinent to maintaining good employer-employee relationships. Each party shall advise the other at least two (2) working days prior to such meeting of the subject matters they wish to discuss. Employees shall not lose any compensation or benefits for attendance at LMC meetings conducted during duty hours.
Labor Management Committee (LMC) a. Unit members will, from time to time, designate five (5) representatives who will meet with management representatives on a quarterly basis, or upon a more frequent basis as the LMC may desire, to discuss matters pertinent to the welfare of the unit members. Topics discussed may include, but not be limited to, equipment, health and safety, job classifications, training, operating procedures, managed competition, retiree healthcare, non-occupational disability leave, healthcare medical waiver (opt- out), and exploring efficiencies. The members of the LMC will be granted sufficient time to accomplish the purposes of this section.
Labor Management Committee (LMC). The Committee shall meet at least quarterly, or upon the written request of either party, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Grievances shall not be discussed at such meetings. Either party may cancel LMC in writing (i.e., via email). Matters subject to the duty to bargain and not appropriately discussed in another forum, may be discussed. However, the LMC shall not have the authority to add to, amend or modify this MOU/Contract.
Labor Management Committee (LMC). The purpose of this committee is to provide a forum for discussion of matters or concerns to bargaining unit members of the Administration and to further develop positive working relationships. The LMC shall be encouraged to solve identified problems in a creative atmosphere using a consensus-based format. The Labor Management Committee shall be established under the guidelines and procedures of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS). Training may be provided by the FMCS. The Labor Management Committee shall consist of five (5) representatives of the teachers and five (5) representatives of the Board. The Superintendent will be the chairperson. The Association shall be responsible for the selection of the teacher representatives. The LMC may meet as often as necessary upon mutual agreement. However, the LMC shall not meet less than two (2) times per school year. The Labor Management Committee shall not take the place of the negotiations process. Decisions made by the Labor Management Committee shall not in any way alter the terms and conditions of employment set forth by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. No active grievance may be discussed.
Labor Management Committee (LMC). The Employer and the Union agree to maintain a Labor Management Committee. The Committee will function as a forum for sharing information. The Committee may identify solutions and make recommendations on matters brought to the committee by either party. The Committee will function in an advisory role with the ability to make decisions, and will implement solutions to identified issues. The Committee will not have bargaining authority nor will it address issues that are more appropriate for the grievance procedure. The Committee will consist of up to six (6) members. Three (3) members will be appointed by the Employer and three (3) will be appointed by the Union. The intent is to accommodate the participation of the Employer’s Human Resources Department and a Union Representative. Meetings will be for a maximum of 1.5 hours no more than once a month and not less than once every two (2) months, unless mutually agreed otherwise. Bargaining unit employees will be compensated at their straight rate of pay for time spent at these meetings and such time shall not be counted in the calculation of overtime. Mutually agreed upon changes at LMC will be documented in written meeting notes. Binding decisions shall be drafted in a Memorandum of Understand and shall not be in effect until signed by a representative of the Union and a representative of the Employer.
Labor Management Committee (LMC). A. The Superintendent and the BEA President shall each be members of the LMC and each shall appoint up to two (2) other members to serve on the LMC.
