PROJECT SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES. During the project period of the Cooperative Agreement, the City will utilize the Cooperative Agreement monies on ten (10) different tasks listed below. • Task 1 - Quality Assurance Project Plan (“QAPP”) Update • Task 2 - Sampling and City-Wide Projects‌ • Task 3 – Hiring of City Position • Task 4 - Department of Water Management Projects • Task 5 - Chicago Department of Transportation Projects‌ • Task 6 - Department of Public Health Xxxxxx/Portal • Task 7 - Department of Information Technology Xxxxxx Upgrades • Task 8 – Generic HASP Plan‌ • Task 9 – Hiring of City Positions for Permit Review and OversightTask 10Sister Agency Projects A more detailed description of each of the above tasks is described under the “Management and Coordination” section of this document. In some cases, Cooperative Agreement funding will supplement City project funding for subsurface activities. The goals of the Cooperative Agreement are to: • Provide radiation monitoring services for City projects that occur in rights-of-way and on City-owned property adjacent to City rights-of-way within the Streeterville Thorium Investigation Area. This may include outreach, radiation surveying, removal action planning, and cost evaluation as part of proposed projects. Some time may be spent by City of Chicago staff coordinating with the radiation contractors and other City Departments. City of Chicago staff that could be involved includes AIS, Department of Water Management, Department of Law, Department of Public Health, Department of Transportation and other Departments and other City of Chicago sister governmental agencies. • Package, transport and dispose of thorium-contaminated material that is removed as a result of City projects. Whether the scope and nature of work will include the investigation, removal and disposal of newly identified or existing thorium-contaminated material encountered beyond the City Project work location and limits proposed will be determined by the City and USEPA on a case-by-case basis, depending on factors including but not limited to potential human exposure, cost and availability of funding, level of radioactivity, disruption of existing infrastructure, likelihood that the area of contamination will be accessed or disturbed in the future, and construction scheduling. • Train City of Chicago personnel, including an overview to City personnel on the history of Streeterville and the requirements when performing subsurface activities in the Streeterville...

PROJECT SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES. 1. Setting up a smart platform for collecting, processing and analyzing cross-border compatible environmental data in the nature parks covered by the project. Under the project will be set up a smart platform for collecting, processing and analyzing cross-border compatible environmental data in BSB. We will develop Technology for environment observation with drones and Technology for remote river water quality and dust air measurement and monitoring, Web-based cloud service for automatic data collection from wireless sensor networks and Web-based cloud service for video content, Public web portal for environmental data in BSB. 2. Providing up-to-date information on the state of natural habitats and the presence of invasive species in the nature parks covered by the project through the use of smart technologies and conducting joint monitoring 3. A cross-border team of researchers will develop a common methodology for monitoring the state of natural habitats and the presence of invasive species. The methodology will ensure the collection of compatible data, up-to-date information on the location and size of damaged areas and types of pressures, the assessment of potential sources and forms of threats. The collected information will be updated with remote sensing data through the developed smart technologies and it will be accessible. 4. Using smart technology to monitor areas most closely related to climate change and anthropogenic impacts and building capacity for fire and flood protection. 5. We plan to use remote methods (satellite photos/drone photos) in areas that are most affected by climate change and anthropogenic impacts. For each nature park included in the project, permanent control sample areas will be fixed, in which experts and volunteers will perform field observations annually. Through the use of smart technologies and the collection of compatible data and information, we will contribute to the achievement of the overall objective of the project.
PROJECT SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES. To increase the pool of skilled labour available in the fisheries sector; • To connect unemployed workers to available jobs in the fisheries sector; • To strengthen the attachment of low-income individuals to the labour market by improving their literacy and essential skills and providing them with job-related training, thereby providing a better skill match with available jobs in their community; • To increase the essential skills of supervisors and middle-managers and establish workplace essential skills mentors/coaches to support the application of literacy and essential skills in the workplace and improved employee performance and retention; and • To develop and test an innovative and highly contextualized blended learning approach to essential skills training for the fisheries sector using a community partnership approach that is focused targeted to low-income individuals and customized to needs of the fisheries sector; and • To test the transferability of the ESAF training model in the fisheries sector.

  • Project/Milestones Taxpayer provides refrigerated warehousing and logistic distribution services to clients throughout the United States. In consideration for the Credit, Taxpayer agrees to invest in a new refrigeration and distribution facility in the XxXxxxxxx Park area of Sacramento, California, and hire full-time employees (collectively, the “Project”). Further, Taxpayer agrees to satisfy the milestones as described in Exhibit A (“Milestones”) and must maintain Milestones for a minimum of three (3) taxable years thereafter. In the event Taxpayer employs more than the number of full-time employees, determined on an annual full-time equivalent basis, than required in Exhibit A, for purposes of satisfying the “Minimum Annual Salary of California Full-time Employees Hired” and the “Cumulative Average Annual Salary of California Full-time Employees Hired,” Taxpayer may use the salaries of any of the full-time employees hired within the required time period. For purposes of calculating the “Minimum Annual Salary of California Full-time Employees Hired” and the “Cumulative Average Annual Salary of California Full-time Employees Hired,” the salary of any full-time employee that is not employed by Taxpayer for the entire taxable year shall be annualized. In addition, the salary of any full-time employee hired to fill a vacated position in which a full-time employee was employed during Taxpayer’s Base Year shall be disregarded.

  • Product Specifications (a) Supplier shall manufacture all Products according to the Specifications in effect as of the date of this Agreement, with such changes or additions to the Specifications of the Products related thereto as shall be requested by Buyer in accordance with this Section or as otherwise agreed in writing by the Parties. All other Products shall be manufactured with such Specifications as the Parties shall agree in writing. (b) Buyer may request changed or additional Specifications for any Product by delivering written notice thereof to Supplier not less than one hundred twenty (120) days in advance of the first Firm Order for such Product to be supplied with such changed or additional Specifications. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if additional advance time would reasonably be required in order to implement the manufacturing processes for production of a Product with any changed or additional Specifications, and to commence manufacture and delivery thereof, Supplier shall so notify Buyer, and Supplier shall not be required to commence delivery of such Product until the passage of such additional time. (c) Supplier shall be required to accommodate any change of, or additions to, the Specifications for any Product, if and only if (i) in Supplier’s good faith judgment, such changed or additional Specifications would not require Supplier to violate good manufacturing practice, (ii) the representation and warranty of Buyer deemed made pursuant to Subsection (e) below is true and correct, and (iii) Buyer agrees to reimburse Supplier for the incremental costs and expenses incurred by Supplier in accommodating the changed or additional Specifications, including the costs of acquiring any new machinery and tooling. For the avoidance of doubt, such costs and expenses shall be payable by Buyer separately from the cost of Products at such time or times as Supplier shall request. (d) Supplier shall notify Buyer in writing within thirty (30) days of its receipt of any request for changed or additional Specifications (i) whether Supplier will honor such changed or additional Specifications, (ii) if Supplier declines to honor such changed or additional Specifications, the basis therefor and (iii) if applicable, the estimated costs and expenses that Buyer will be required to reimburse Supplier in respect of the requested changes or additions, as provided in Subsection (c) above. Buyer shall notify Supplier in writing within fifteen (15) days after receiving notice of any required reimbursement whether Buyer agrees to assume such reimbursement obligation. (e) By its request for any changed or additional Specifications for any Product, Buyer shall be deemed to represent and warrant to Supplier that the manufacture and sale of the Product incorporating Buyer’s changed or additional Specifications, as a result of such incorporation, will not and could not reasonably be expected to (i) violate or conflict with any contract, agreement, arrangement or understanding to which Buyer and/or any of its Affiliates is a party, including this Agreement and any other contract, agreement, arrangement or understanding with Supplier and/or its Affiliates, (ii) infringe on any trademark, service xxxx, copyright, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of any Person, or (iii) violate any Applicable Law. Buyer shall indemnify and hold Supplier and its Affiliates harmless (including with respect to reasonable attorneys’ fees and disbursements) from any breach of this representation and warranty.

  • Project Objective The Parties will jointly develop the Project Objective based upon the Owner’s requirements, goals, and constraints. The Project Objective is comprised of the Base Program, Target Cost, Added Value Incentive Items, Implementation Documents, and Contract Time, and any other objectives agreed by the Parties. The Project Objective establishes the Project requirements and standards for measuring the Project’s success. The various components of the Project Objective may be incorporated into the Agreement through Amendment upon recommendation of the Project Management Team and approval of the Senior Management Team.
